Tue 27 Aug 2019 Post Office/Shopped: CoOp/Grocery/Superdrug/Pharmacy chemist/Tate Britain-2 drawings left behind: foot/head

4:00 PM WENT DOWN TO THE POST OFFICE

-(I'm writing this post 2 days, afterwards; because the date is now Thu 29th Aug 2019/time: 00:33 AM; so, everything I write here is recalled from memory.)-

Went to the post office; made a deposit into my current account.

SHOPPED ALONG WEST NORWOOD HIGH STREET

First, I did some shopping inside of CoOp...

1 x tub of Tuna and corn spread
1 x tub of Egg Mayonnaise
6 x flakes (£1 for 2)
1 x thick carrier bag

Second, I did some shopping inside of the grocery shop located across the road from the CoOp along West Norwood high street.

5 x packets of Jamaican Water Crackers
1 x Jamaican white bread
1 x Jamaican bun
2 x packets of rice (2 different varieties)

Third, I went into Superdrug chemist where I brought...

1 x bottle of Surgical Spirit
1 x bottle of Witch Hazel

The guy that served me also signed me up for a Superdrug store card which he gave me on the spot. It states 100 points = £1.00 off. I think, £1.00 is worth 1 point...and, already, I had collected 4 points.

Forth, I went into the Pharmacy shop located below Superdrug where I brought...

6 x packets of Glucose sweets (different flavours)
1 x Belladonna plaster

Finally, I returned back home...carrying 5 bags...hanging them on my bikes handle bars.

VISITED TATE GALLERY

I know I went to visit Tate Gallery...after getting my bike fixed; so, if it wasn't on Monday...then, it must have been, Tuesday. Anyway, I recall arriving fairly 'late'...at around closing time...and, I executed doing 2 drawings...of a statue: Man wrestling with a Python...; I drew a foot/and, also, a head...both of which drawings I signed/dated; and, then, left behind. (Frankly, I deeply regretted leaving those 2 drawings behind; as the paper was of thick 'good quality'...and, I really and truly should have kept those drawings, instead; but, nevermind, as there will always be a next time.)

I believe after the gallery closed down for the evening; I went off to view Rodin's sculpture: The Burger's of Calais.

GAMBLED AND LOST £20.00

Much to my shame/horror...I went and gambled away £20.00...playing William Hill Roulette; first, I deposited £10.00...and, almost immediately lost that; then, decided to chase after my losses thinking if I put in another £10.00...this time it will win; only it didn't, instead, I ended up very quickly losing another £10.00; after that I decided this is not my lucky day...so, I'm not putting any more money into gambling. I quit leaving with a £0.00 balance. I cannot believe how stupidly I behaved...but, it is as it is...and, as they say, there's no point crying over spilled milk; though, I certainly felt extremely sad inside; depressed, actually.
