Somewhere just after 4 PM I decided to go and visit Dulwich Picture Gallery; I really wasn't too sure if they would let me in...as I heard that the last entrance tends to be 4 PM...and, they close at 5 PM. However, luckily, I was wrong...and, they let me in, anyway...even though I must have arrived there 'late' by around 4:10/or, 4:15 PM.
I went in to see their 'latest' print making exhibition, again. It's really and truly strange, though...that every single time I revisit seeing that same show; then, the more and more I seem to like it. The 'Futurism' aspect...of not so much concentrating on 'real' life forms; but, more on 'realist-abstract' use of line/rhythm to create some truly interesting and even amazing compositions.
I also went and copied a painting by Guercino; or, rather a part of the painting...concentrating on copying 2 heads: a woman/and, a man being seen at her back wearing a suit of armour.
The medium I used to draw with was 'graphite stick'; even though I actually went and brought a whole set of 60 x half-sized soft pastel sticks with me/and, coloured paper; instead, I chose to draw pencil on plain white sketchbook paper.
5:00 PM RETURNED BACK HOME
I wasn't able to fully concentrate, and, just wanted to get back home, again...as quickly as is possible. 2 of the neighbours young girls were giving me funny looks as I left home...because I didn't say 'hello' to them...and, frankly, I didn't trust what they might do outside of the house; however, when I came back in, again; they didn't seem to actually do anything at all; or, at least, nothing I might have noticed, anyway.
It's a big problem when one suffers from extreme self-consciousness, and, intense shyness...quite often, leading to one's becoming a 'recluse'...which even adults don't fully understand/nevermind, children. Some people tend to take it entirely the wrong way whenever you ignore them...; they will lose both their patience, and, also, their temper with you...children are not the best at controlling their tempers, neither.
6 PM I USED THE DESKTOP COMPUTER/MS PAINT PROGRAM TO DEVELOP A 'CUT OUT' ADVERT
I was thinking of creating an advert to help artist: Lil Sullivan, promote her FREE art class...so that more people would turn up.
1> I searched the internet to find one of her photo pics
2> I edited the photo by cutting only the head out/and, ignoring the rest
3> I pasted the photo into MS Paint program
4> I added some words
5> I added decorative effects: bold/underline/borders/changed colours around: black and white/red/asterixes/-etc.
7 PM I WENT OUT TO GET THE ADVERT PRINTED
I rode my bike off down the road to see if I could get the advert printed. However, there was no printing shop open in West Norwood on Sunday's...not even the library...where the Picturehouse section remains still open during the evening/but, the actual library part is shut(the library offers by far the 'cheapest' printouts, I think, it only costs: 0.10p a sheet).
Eventually, I ended up riding my bike all the way up to Streatham...in pouring down rain...where, finally, I found an internet cafe -(near to Westbury chemist)- looks like it's run by Somalian people.
When I told the guy I wanted to do a USB stick computer printout...he said it would cost me 0.75p...to which I agreed; as I'd already brought a £1.00 coin along with me.
I got the work printed out...and, was really quite happy with it(it wasn't a colour printout/so, the photo came out 'black and white').
Next, I asked the guy how much does it cost to use the computer? I was delighted when he said I can stay and use it for the next 1/2 an hour long...without having to pay any more money.
I used that time to test if I could write very simple program files...the Operating System was either Windows 7/or, 10(both of which I'm already familiar with using before at home). I used Windows Notepad word processing application to create...
a> 1 x VBScript program file: [test01.vbs]
MsgBox(0)
b> 1 x Javascript program file: [test01.js]
alert(0);
c> 1 x HTML web page file: [test01.html] (used to call the Javascript)
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="test01.js"></script>
d> 1 x MS DOS program file: [test01.bat]

...then, I went and tested out that everything worked, perfectly; and, yes it did.
The whole idea behind this particular exercise...was if my own desktop computer ever goes down...as, inevitably, it will(based on previous experience); I can use the Internet Cafe's external computer to continue working, instead.
8 PM I RETURNED BACK HOME
Just before I'd gone and entered into the Internet Cafe...which I wrote about, previously. I had wanted to stop riding...and, try and take shelter from the constantly pouring down rain...; but, most unfortunately, my bike slipped and had fallen down onto it's side...landing on the very hard concrete ground...consequently, the back wheel 'derailer' part had broken off completely.
This meant that the bike couldn't be ridden around anymore...and, so I had to push it all the way back home from Streatham...in the pouring down rain. I was wearing nothing more than a t-shirt/and, some training trousers/training shoes/socks; so, basically, I ended up getting very 'wet', indeed, by the time I arrived back home.
I was thinking about going down to Brixton Halfords; but, I felt it's most likely at that time they'd be shut...and, I didn't wish to try and chain up my £350.00 bike outside of Halfords to, later on, go and pick it up...in case it gets stolen(which is exactly what happened the last time I went and chained up my bike outside there).
