2:10 PM SIGNED ON AT STREATHAM JOB CENTRE
I had to go to Streatham Job Centre to 'sign on'; only my broken bike needed to be fixed at Halfords bike shop in Brixton; so, I could no longer ride it both there and back; therefore, I decided to walk.
It took me a whole 1/2 an hour to walk there...; and, about the same length of time to walk back home, again.
I signed on with a coloured lady called, Julie; showed her the online 'job search' I did; after which she agreed to sign me on.
4 PM PHONED ART TEACHER: LIL SULLIVAN TO SAY WHY I MISSED HER ART CLASS
I phoned my art teacher Lil Sullivan, to explain why I went and missed her art class, today, between 2 PM-5 PM. Told her, my bike had broken down; and, was in the process of getting fixed at Brixton Halfords. Also, with no bike being readily available to ride; I had to walk to my 2:10 PM 'sign on' appointment at Streatham Job Centre; but, I didn't fancy walking all the way to Vauxhall/and, back.
Actually, last week, I did offer to give a black girl called, Jenny -one of the art students there- a FREE sketchpad; however, I just thought to myself...the gift can wait until when next week comes.
Lil wanted me to give my phone number to Jenny; but, frankly, I wasn't too willing; mainly because I'm not using a mobile phone; but, instead, my home phone...and, I just don't want anybody calling me on that. I didn't necessarily explain as much...; instead, I just said, I'll talk to them when next week comes.
Lil, also mentioned that her own phone isn't working too well. I told her I hope she'll get it fixed.
I said, the time is now 4 PM; and, even if I were to take bus there...I would arrive somewhere around 4:30 PM...and, as the class finishes at 5 PM...there was no point turning up, today. We finished the conversation there.
18:52 PM SPOKE TO BRIXTON HALFORDS BIKE SHOP
I phone a guy called, Angus; who, yesterday, had left an answer phone message saying I should ring him back about my bike needing to be fixed; when I did phone him back...he explained...that he hasn't quite gotten around to dealing with my own bike, yet...; but, when he does he'll give me another phone call. I saw no point in arguing...just agreed; and, quit the phone call.
9 PM JOINED UPLOADBANK
I joined uploadbank...
http://www.uploadbank.com
...which, apparently, allows you to upload/download/delete already uploaded files all entirely for FREE.
-(Though, I believe there is a maximum file size limit that you can upload.)-
Whenever you've uploaded a file...then, automatically, you are given 2 links...
1> Link 1, a URL to keep/or, 'share' the file
2> Link 2, a URL used to 'delete' the file
10 PM DOWNLOADED 'BRAVE' WEB BROWSER
I downloaded a FREE web browser called: brave; from...
http://www.brave.com
...apparently, it offers...
-> faster browsing
-> more secure: blocks ad's/pop up's/tracking cookies
-> uses a form of blockchain technology called: BAT/Basic Attention Tokens...which you can collect by clicking on ad's related to what you browse
My experience so far...is that the browser is indeed 'fast'...which I attribute partly, at least, to my not setting up: 'presearch' engine to automatically search with.
10:15 PM DOWNLOADED COINIOMI BITCOIN WALLET SOFTWARE
http://www.coinomi.com
...I downloaded Coinomi bitcoin wallet software; not really sure how to use it, yet; still in the process of just setting it up.
As I understand it, Coinomi, can also be used cross-platform; though, I downloaded it through the Brave web browser to use on my Desktop computer at home; it can also be used...
- as a mobile application
- on Linux
- on Mac
- on iOS
- etc.
