Sat 24th Aug 2019 Practised creating: Tic Tac Toe Game/(Manual/Semi-automatic versions/Thinking about other versions...)

GAME : TAC-TAC-TOE : MENU

The first thing I did was create a menu...; which offers up 2 different versions of the game.

GAME : TAC-TAC-TOE : VERSION 1/(MANUAL)

Next, I went and created a very simple -(HTML/CSS based)- manual version of the game where...
> each player uses the keyboard to enter their player marker entry onto the board
> when the game is done...which the players must decide for themselves

> they hit the [Reset game] button to re-start the game afresh using a board without any marker on it

GAME : TAC-TAC-TOE : VERSION 2/(SEMI AUTOMATIC)

In my next attempt, I created a semi-automatic version of the game, instead; -(using HTML/CSS/Javascript)-; in this version of the game..

> each player clicks on a button...and, automatically, a player marker is chosen; whenever it's the next players turn to move...the player marker switches, automatically around: X/O...(so there is no longer any need to keep on typing each marker's move in)

> when the game is done...which the players must decided for themselves

> they hit the [Reset game] button to re-start the game afresh using a board without any markers on it

GAME : TAC-TAC-TOE : VERSION 3/(FULLY AUTOMATIC)

My hope is that, eventually, I will find enough time/patience to create a fully automatic version of the game...where the Javascript outputs a dialog box...saying: 'X won'/or, 'O won'/or, maybe, even stating 'the game is a draw'; then, when the user clicks on that dialog box [OK] button...the game will, automatically, reset to start again.

GAME : TAC-TAC-TOE : VERSION 4/(PLAYER VS COMPUTER)

The ultimate version of the game is where one could either choose either...

> Player vs Player

> Player vs Computer

> and, the rest being 'fully automatic' just as in version 3.

NOTE: I have already created such games in the past both fully automatic/as well as, player vs computer; however, as I haven't been creating such games, regularly; therefore, a lot of the programming logic behind it I sort of forgot...can only, partially, remember.

I've also been feeling extremely 'lazy'...can't fully concentrate...got too many other problems to worry about. How to pay this or that bill? How to fix up the house? Need to catch up with doing house work? My lack of physical fitness... -etc.

Sometimes, when stress gets too much...I just 'give up'; and, go watch TV/Internet videos, instead; which seems to demand much less effort. Just minutes ago, I was watching a YouTube internet video related to building UI-User Interfaces.

NOTE: Unfortunately, I signed up using my gmail a/c.; which meant there was no password set on the a/c.; therefore, I requested they send me a password; which when I tried resetting it...didn't work? The error message said, something went wrong...; and, they are working on solving the problem.

Eventually, I did manage to sign up for milanote app using both my Yahoo email address/plus, a password.

EXPERIENCING LOTS OF COMPUTER DEVELOPMENT PROBLEMS

Using my Desktop computer...which is what I mostly prefer to work on...instead, of iPad 4...for 2 reasons...

1> It has a much bigger screen

2> It has a full size keyboard

Unfortunately, there are 2 things repeatedly going wrong on the Desktop machine...

A>  The computer is running slow as hell...(I tried deleting unnecessary programs/clearing out junk by running anti-virus/re-booting the machine/-etc.)

B> Entirely at random...the mouse just seems to keep on 'locking up' and 'freezing' completely; meaning, most frustratingly, I can't get any work done, smoothly, as I would wish; instead, it's a case of work..then, being forced to 'stop'.

...sometimes, it makes become angry and upset...not being able to get what I paid for...which is to use both the machine/and, the internet; then, I will just quit in disgust; returning straight back to bed.
