Mon 300919 Norwood high street shopping/Renewed 2 library books to 21st OCT/Bank charges: £42.41p

10 PM WAS EXPECTING A PARCEL DELIVERY/FELT TIRED...SLEPT/AWOKE: MISSED THE DELIVERY

Today, I was expecting to receive a parcel of an item which I ordered from off eBay. However, through feeling really tried...most unfortunately, I went off to sleep.

When I awoke...a Royal Mail note was left...stating I must go and collect the parcel from West Norwood postal depot tomorrow morning.

4 PM WENT SHOPPING ALONG NORWOOD HIGH STREET

I decided to do some shopping as the fridge is getting a bit on the empty side. I shopped at...

- CoOp
- Iceland
- Grocery Store

5 PM VISITED WEST NORWOOD LIBARY TO RENEW LIBRARY BOOKS

I also visited West Norwood library to go and renew 2 library books.

6:30 PM THINKING ABOUT GOING TO AN AIKIDO LESSON/BUT, MISSED IT

Attention Deficit Disorder strikes, again! I was meant to go and take an Aikido lesson; but, I let myself get completely carried away doing other things...more specifically, cooking/eating/drinking.

When I looked up at the time...it said, 6:40 PM; and, I knew I was already 'late'; furthermore, I wasn't even fully washed/dressed, yet...so, that would take another 1/2 an hour long...; so, in the end I decided completely forget it...the lessons aren't going to happen during this week.

Who knows, possibly, next week...

THE BANK ADDED INTEREST/OVERDRAWN/UNARRANGED BORROWING FEES TOTALLING: £42.41!

I absolutely hate it when it gets to the end of the month; and, the bank adds loads of charges onto my a/c. This time, after I made a deposit of £100.00; and, after done around £40.00 worth of shopping; then, them taking their regular charges fee of £42.41p; my bank a/c. balance said less than £20.00 left!

I feel it's us 'poor' people who tend to suffer from these excessive charges the most...as we just cannot afford it; whereas, people who are earning money...they don't need to worry about such charges at all.

Sun 290919 Stayed in...watched internet TV: Javascript lessons/JSBin: created 'test code' Gist

THOUGHT ABOUT GOING OUT/JUST DIDN'T DO IT

Today, I stayed home...

Frankly, I've been feeling rather 'depressed'(and, this has been going on for quite a while).

- There are huge money problems to have to consider...how to deal with all these...when I have insufficient money to cope.

- My health is not the best...as I haven't been 'keeping fit'. Don't feel enough energy to want to exercise. Can't afford to go out and do 'keep fit' lessons/or, martial arts.

- My concentration is very poor...try as I might to study...nothing is really sinking in; instead, it sort of goes in...then, comes straight back out. In order to learn programming, effectively; then, you can't just sit back, and, merely 'watch' videos; instead, one only learns by seriously getting involved, and, doing it 'hands on'.

- Whether I go out/or, stay in...I worry constantly about my mum's health...because she is neither eating/drinking/exercising properly, at all; and, all the advice I have to offer her...she isn't willing to take. Furthermore, communication is extremely difficult...as she's hard of hearing; I have to write things down. As she has grown older...her concentration doesn't last too long...so, I have to keep writing to an absolute minimum...otherwise, she gets upset stating she can't read any more. She doesn't ever wish to see a doctor, neither...; so this leads to non-stop worrying on my part...as, quite honestly, I can only see things getting worse and worse.

- Due to my feeling depressed/and, not getting enough exercise...eating all of the wrong foods/drink -(too much chocolate biscuits/salt crips/-etc.; in other words, spoiling myself with 'comfort foods')-  I haven't been doing anywhere near enough housework; and, seeing the house look bad -due to my own sheer laziness- depresses me even further.

STILL STUDYING JAVASCRIPT

Anyway, today, I did what I normally tend to do...whenever I feel 'down'...which is stay in/mostly, lying in bed watching internet connected TV...YouTube videos...looking at the latest versions of Javascript: ES6+.

Sometimes, getting up...moving over to the computer...to do a little bit of surfing...catch up on emails/Facebook/test some code...; then, usually, moving straight back to bed, again.

Thinking about tomorrow...what on earth will I do, then...?

I've long ago learned that indulging in too much worry can be a really dangerous thing for your health...both 'physically/mentally'...that's why I try to watch TV a lot...in order to distract myself...from doing too much purely 'negative' thinking.

CREATED A GITHUB GIST USING JSBIN

I used my GitHub credentials to sign in at JSBin...

https://jsbin.com

...where I practised creating some very simple 'test code'.

The JSBin menu said I could create a Gist with this 'test code'...so, I did; much to my surprise, the Gist immediately appeared inside of GitHub...

FOUND AN INTERESTING WEB SITE TEACHING ABOUT HOW TO USE CSS GRID

Looking around inside of GitHub...I found an interesting 'teach yourself' how to use CSS Grid program...

Sat 280919 Visited Dulwich Picture Gallery/Told off...NOT to use pastels!/Visited Tate Britain, instead

VISITED DULWICH PICTURE GALLERY/TOLD OFF, NOT TO USE PASTELS

When I woke up...I recall thinking to myself I will go to DWP to go and practice doing some 'pastel' drawing...which is teaching me all about how the 'masters' made use of colour.

So, I took along with me...both pastel chalks/pastel drawing papers.

However, after standing up drawing for just a few minutes long...a guard came over and told me to NOT use pastels to draw with inside of the gallery...as the pastels might affect the paintings.

I quite politely nodded, yes; because, I too am interested in saving the paintings...that is, I'm interested in older paintings preservation.

However, deep down inside I also felt rather highly mortified; because I came over to DWP strictly to practice drawing using pastels...and, learn about how to use 'colour' most effectively.

For a while, I moved off into a more private room of the gallery...instead, of standing up in the open gallery...and, there looked at some Poussain paintings. Sooner or later, the same guard came into the Poussain room...to check if I was still using 'pastels'; but, this time I was only interested in looking/and, not drawing.

Eventually, I decided I'm 'wasting' precious time being here...as my purpose is not to 'look'; but, instead, to go and practice doing some actual 'drawing', instead.

What I decided to do was to move off to go visit another gallery, instead; namely, Tate Britain.

VISITED TATE BRITAIN

I went and visited Tate Britain...oddly enough, although I thought about using pastels inside there...I did not.

Instead, I walked into the 'drawing room'...where they provide visitors with FREE easels/paper/pencils...and, practised doing some 'pencil' drawings inside there.

I also went and visited seeing 3 exhibitions.

Then, afterwards, I came back home.

Fri 270919 National Portrait Gallery: FREE 'late' night drawing session

-(NOTE: This post is a recollection being written 2 days on...Sunday night.)-

VISITED THE NATIONAL PORTRAIT GALLERY/FREE 'LATE' NIGHT DRAWING SESSION

I went and visited the National Portrait Gallery in Trafalgar Square; in order to attend a 'late' night drawing session.

The first thing I noticed was, the usual side gates were shut; so, instead, I had to walk further down...and, enter through the other side entrance.

I went upstairs...and, there collected a drawing board(piece of cardboard)...; and, some multiple pieces of paper. I think, in all I took up, at least, 6 pieces of A3 paper. I actually used up around 3 of these papers; then, took the blanks back home with me to practice drawing on. I drew...

- A statue of woman's head
- A girl sitting down in front of me doing some drawing (drawing her from the back)
- A black and white photo of a black lady
- A black and white photo print of a lady with hair in a bun
- I believe, I also executed doing one or two purely imaginary drawings, as well.

None of these drawings were good enough to be well worth keeping.

VAUXHALL: VAN GOGH WALK : BOOK EXCHANGE
I remember stopping in Vauxhall to go and collect a few books; though, right now, I've forgotten  their names...?

HAD A REALLY CLOSE SHAVE MISS WITH A SPEEDING MOTOR BIKE

On my way back home, again...travelling though a narrow Brixton market shopping lane...I had a really chose shave miss...very nearly colliding with a speeding motor bike. I was doing say 3-5 mph/and, he was doing 10-20 mph...basically, I wasn't looking upwards...but, instead, was looking downwards(feeling really tired)...as I wasn't expecting anything to come along so 'fast'...that is apart from moving people all around me. However, quite suddenly, I heard an engine noise...and, then, when I looked up...there was this speeding motor bike coming straight at me...causing me to quite involuntarily do a 'panic' swerve...luckily, I served off to the right/and, he swerved left...otherwise, we would have both swerved directly into one another.

I thought to myself...boy, that was 'close'...?! I wonder what would have happened had he actually caught me...would it have meant broken bones/or, unconsciousness/or, cuts/brain damage/-etc. The guy 'beeped' his horn...but, just far too late; so, I didn't actually see him right up until the very last few seconds...on a bike it's awfully hard to get away from a speeding motor cycle...which is moving at a much quicker rate than you are...it's a lot like trying to dodge 'a speeding bullet', in fact!

I tried my best to completely ignore the incident...and, just 'rejoice' that nothing bad did actually happen for real; but, the truth is...it was something I couldn't easily forget; and, basically, the memory kind of soured all the rest of my night. Days, later on, I still cannot easily forget...if one isn't, really and truly, careful...then, a person's life can really quite drastically change in only just 'one' second, alone...sometimes, riding a push bike can be extremely 'dangerous'!

Thu 260919 Streatham Job Centre phone call/Clapham dep./Tate Britain/CashPlus payments: £36(20+10+6)/Job search

2 PM STREATHAM JOB CENTRE PHONE CALL

I received a phone call from Streatham job centre...they said I should go and attend the job fair being held at the job centre today; they also automatically signed me on.

2:20 PM LIL SULLIVAN PHONE CALL

I got a phone call from Lil Sullivan reminding me that today is Thursday; and, she is giving a FREE art lesson between 2 PM - 5 PM.

I responded that I have to attend a Job Fair at Streatham Job Centre, today; later on, during this same evening; and, afterwards, I might choose to turn up for class.

3 PM VISITED STREATHAM JOB CENTRE/TOO LATE: JOB FAIR CLOSED AT 3 PM

I went and visited Streatham Job Centre...; but, unfortunately, they said the job fair was already closed at 3 PM.

4 PM VISITED CLAPHAM/DEPOSITED £15.00

I rode off towards Clapham where I made a £15.00 cash deposit into my current a/c.

4:30 PM VISITED TATE BRITAIN GALLERY: SAW 2 EXHIBITIONS
I went and visited Tate Britain Gallery...where I saw both of the latest exhibitions...

1> I walked into a large room...showing films...each film clip seemed to be interlinked...playing together simeltaneously.

3> Mike Nelson: The Asset Strippers (random 'abstract' sculptures)

23:01 MADE A NUMBER OF CASHPLUS PAYMENTS TOTALLING: £36.00

Throughout the day, I made a number of payments into my CashPlus a/c. from my current a/c.; totalling the sum of £36.00(20+10+6).

Hopefully, that should clear my CashPlus a/c. loan balance completely off, now. However, payments takes time to clear, sometimes...so, I might have to wait until tomorrow/or, the next day to phone them to check if all payments are clear. The last time I phoned it said there was a £6.00 balance left.

23:30 DID A JOB SEARCH

Completed doing a series of job searches for: Admin, South East London, UK

Wed 250919 Returned 6 x Library books/CashPlus payments: £20(10+10)

2 PM PAID CASHPLUS CARD: £10.00

Online I paid CashPlus £10.00; my balance said I owe them: £46.00.

4:30 PAID CASHPLUS CARD: £10.00

I went down to West Norwood post office to pay off a CashPlus loan by depositing £10.00 cash on the CashPlus card.

When I returned back home; and, checked my balance it said, I still owe them £36.00.

5:55 PM RETURNED 6 MANGA COMIC BOOKS BACK TO WEST NORWOOD LIBRARY

I felt because I'm not actually reading the library books which I had take out to read...therefore, might as well return them...so as not to accumulate any further fines.

As usual, I left home really late...at around 5:55 PM...when I knew the library closes at 6 PM. When I actually arrived there...one of the librarians announced that 'the library is closed!' I just simply choose to completely ignore her; stood in line..and, got my library books returned, anyway.

Tuesday 24 September 2019

Tue 240919 Gambled: Dep. £5/Won: £29.50/Lost: £1.30 bal. - £40(25+5+10) CashPlus payments

6:30 AM COLLECTED FREE METRO NEWSPAPER FROM WEST NORWOOD TRAIN STATION

After letting in/and, then, feeding the cat at 6 AM; I decided to go down the street to collect a FREE Metro newspaper from West Norwood train station. I believe I walked it.

All along the journey, I had a really strong desire in me to go and draw; however, I had brought no drawing materials along with me to go 'practice' drawing.

My next thought was to go out and visit a gallery during the morning/or, even, day...; however, none of these things did actually happen.

Instead, I stayed dressed sitting in the living room computer chair; and, basically, fell asleep; it wasn't until 2 PM when I re-awoke; and, at around 3 or 4 PM I just decided to stay in rather than go out.

The weather has been 'cold and rainy' of late...; maybe, that might have influenced my decision to stay inside.

4:30 PM DID ROULETTE GAMBLING AT WILLIAM HILL: DEPOSITED: £5/WON: £29.50 LOST: £1.30 BAL.

I decided to go and do some Roulette Gambling at...

http:/www.williamhill.com

...I deposited £5.00. The first £3.00 bet I did instantly lost; and, my balance said: £2.10 left(0.10p was in the a/c. before).

I then continued to gamble...betting 2 rows at £1.00 each; the bet won; and, I was left with £3.10.

Again, I continued gambling...until when my total had reached £6.00; that's when I started betting high...throwing in the full £6.00; it won! And, so on...and, so on...before I knew it my total winning balance said: £29.50.

Unfortunately, rather than take £29.50; and, leave it there...I'm always tempted to go and round the figure out...to make a round £30.00; that's when I all of a sudden ran into a losing streak...and, my total just kept on going downwards...I recall making, at least, 2 bets of £12...which both lost; before I knew it my balance said just £1.30 left...which is when I decided to quit doing any more gambling(£3.00 is the minimum I usually bet with/or, at least, £2.00 when betting on 2 rows).

5:30 PM PHONED CASHPLUS

I phoned CashPlus...in order to discover exactly what my balance is...; however, it took really long for them to respond; when a guy eventually did...he told me I had gotten through to the credit card team...and, therefore, he would need to put me onto a different department...as my inquiry was, in fact, pre-paid card related; well, I waited and waited and waited...for somebody to answer the phone...and, then, eventually, I gave up.

5:45 PM DEPOSITED £30.00 INTO CASHPLUS

I went online...and, paid into my CashPlus a/c. the sum of £40.00(£25+5+10); which, hopefully, will cover this months due payment...which is, usually, around the £12.00 mark. Altogether, I owe them £80.00 in loan money.

6:30 PM MISSED AIKIDO

I wanted desperately to go and attend an Aikido class; however, the time just kept on getting 'later and later'...; and, I did NOT feel at all 'fit'; so, in the end I just didn't bother to go; maybe, next Thursday...which is in another 2 days time. (The truth is I can't very well afford to go to lessons, neither; therefore, I'm unwilling to overspend too much money that I really can't afford to lose.)

Mon 230919 Met Sarah West Norwood Library/Yeatman's/GPO: Dep./COOP: 10 x crisps/Found missing bike

1 PM WEST NORWOOD LIBRARY - MET/SPOKE WITH SARAH
I had arranged to meet Sarah -(who I had first met at Morley College)- an art lover; who is also interested in my art. Says she is interested in opening up a cafe/art shop in Crystal Palace. We both arranged to meet up at West Norwood Library at 1 PM.

-(NOTE: We also tend to correspond through Facebook; and, Facebook Instant Messenger app.; less regularly, we use email.)-

As usual, I arrived to my appointment really 'late' by, at least, 1/2 an hour(ADD/Attention Deficit Disorder). Anyway, I saw her...and, spoke to her...and, showed her some drawings I did.

I also gave her...

-> 3 x framed unusual artworks: 1 x cardboard cutout/1 x textile cut out/1 3D tigers print.
-> Some of my own Tate Britain/and, other drawings
-> Some drawings done by others at Tate Britain which were left behind
-> 1 x sketchbook/plus, 60 oil pastels

...I included plastic bags for her to carry these in.

-(NOTE: I saw Loui Blackwood; and, 2 other guys...who sat at a table at the back...listening in to our conversation.)-

3 PM WEST NORWOOD POST OFFICE

I deposited some money at West Norwood GPO.

3:15 VISTED YEATMANS/WEST NORWOOD CEMETARY OFFICE

I went and visited Yeatman's who deal with Burials; explaining to them that my aunts grave had two large trees on either side of it...which might need tending to. The receptionist girl -(after confirming there is enough grave depth for 3)- took both my name/phone number details...and, said they would look into it...then, get back to me, sometime within the week.

4 PM I VISITED THE COOP SUPERSTORE SHOP
I brought...

10 x Jalpeno & Cheese Extra Hot crisps

7 PM THOUGHT I'D LOST MY BIKE...?!
Later on, during the evening...I went downstairs to look for my bike...but, no bike was there?!

I next decided to look outside the door...where I sometimes leave it by accident...again, no bike?!

Finally, I decided to go down the road and look...; eventually, I found it across the road from West Norwood Library...chained up just below the Post Office.

-Thank God! As I don't have enough money to be able to afford buying a 'new' bike.

Friday 20 September 2019

Fri 200919 2 x digital drawings: ZenBrush App: The kiss 01/iPastels App: Female nude 01/Fast food: Papadom: 2 x Chapate

7 PM iPAD4/iPASTELS

I executed doing 2 drawings...both of which I pasted into Facebook...

1 > Using Zen Brush App...I drew, The Kiss theme

2> Using iPastels App...I drew a 'female nude'.

I wasn't exactly pleased with the drawings...seeing them as only 'amateur' scribbles; but, it's been a long time since I ever tried pasting into Facebook; so, I thought it might be worth it...just to let other people see that I haven't completely given up on doing drawing, yet.

9 PM PAPADOM: 2 x CHAPATE

Late, during the evening, when it was dark...I went out and brought 2 x Chapate from the local Papadom shop...at a cost of 0.85p each making a total of: £1.70.

CONCLUSION

Earlier during the evening, I was thinking of attending a FREE 'late' night drawing session at the National Portrait Gallery: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. However, I looked outside at the weather...and, it looked really cold and dull; like rain might be imminent...this made me change my mind; (even, though, in actual fact, it didn't rain). Still there will always be another time to attempt doing some drawing inside of the galleries such as tomorrow, Saturday.

Wednesday 18 September 2019

Thu 190919 htmlshell.com/British Gas: £77:03/Paid Aikido teacher overdue £20

00:30 AM DISCOVERED: HTMLSHELL.COM

I discovered a useful web site called:

http://www.htmlshell.com

...when you go there; you are allowed to create a 'barebone.html' web page document...selecting options as you choose.

00:56 AM PAID BRITISH GAS: £77.03

As today is the 19th of the month; therefore, I remembered that I have to pay British Gas £77.03 monthly. I've just gone and sent them the payment of £77.03.

(At first, the payment was declined; as there wasn't sufficient funds available inside of my current a/c.; however, I went and made an online deposit which made up any deficiency.)

NOTE: This is merely just a 'part payment'...I still have to pay them £170.00 to cover the rest of the bill.

2 PM - 5 PM MISSED LIL SULLIVAN ART CLASS

Unfortunately, I missed going along to Lil Sullivan's art class during this evening. Maybe, next Thursday, I will.

6:30 PM WENT TO KINGSWOOD HOUSE/PAID TEACHER £20.00 OVERDUE
I went to Kingswood House in Sydenam Hill to pay my Aikido teacher £20.00 which was previously overdue. Basically, I'd run off without paying...thinking, I will pay him next time...only I didn't return.

I told him, I won't be taking a lesson, this evening; but, possibly, he will see me next week.

He was in the middle of talking to somebody else; so, I left the conversation there; and, rode my bike all the way back home, again.

Wed 180919 Stayed in.../Eating too much 'wrong' foods/drinks...!

-(This post is recalled from the next day.)-

STAYED IN/DIDN'T GO OUT

I remember thinking to myself I would like to go out...and, visit seeing a few galleries. In particular, I had in mind, at least, 3...

- Dulwich Picture Gallery
- Tate Britain
- Saatchi Gallery

Possibly, in that same order; as that, I think, its the route I would take.

However, in reality, I went nowhere. Just stayed inside...watching TV/Internet/or else, sleeping.

OVER-EATING

I note that I have been over-eating all the wrong foods of late. In particular, I went and brought some of my favourite foods; things I like to eat every single day.

1. Jamaican white bread/(with butter)
2. Jalpeno large crisps (Max strong/extra hot)
3. Chocolate digestive biscuits
4. Mango fruit drink (boxed)

...the problem is, whenever I buy these things...I need to be very careful how much I tend to open all at once. Because, I can easily see myself having...

1 whole Jamacian white bread
2 or 3 packets of Jalpeno crisps
2 packets -or, more- of chocolate digestives
2 mango fruit drinks

....every single day.

So, I try and 'force' myself...to set a limit of...

1 slice of Jamaican white bread, at a time; possible, 2/or, 3 slices per day.
1 packet of Jalpeno crisps
1 packet of chocolate digestives
1 mango fruit drink

...and, frankly, even that is eating far too much. It should be...

1 slice of Jamaican white bread
Half a packet of Jalpeno crisps (give the other half to my mum)
3 chocolate digestive biscuits
1 quarter of Mango fruit drink

...if I could stick with this schedule...then, of course, the food would last much longer. In the mean time, I can fill my stomach with things like...

Drink pints of water/or, tea (1 tea bag per day)
Eat other biscuits if necessary
Eat other food (egg omlette/-etc.)

The trouble with 'junk food' is it's all too very quick and easy to eat.

- It doesn't need any further preparation (just simply tear into the packet/and, stuff your mouth)
- It's not healthy (too much sugar/too much salt)! I should be concentrating on eating fruits.
- It's not good neither mentally/physically...mentally, it makes you 'hyper'...angry/ugly/awful; physically, it makes you over weight/rots your teeth/gives you bad breath/bumps(too much sweets)/-etc.
- It's 'addictive'...because the taste is nice...therefore, you just don't wish to stop eating/drinking it(in a wholly 'unthinking' manner). Before choosing to eat 'junk food' it would be wise to stop yourself, and, ask the question...do I 'need' this.../or, do I merely 'want' this...?! Most times, it's just merely 'want'/and, most definitely, not a need.
-There are many psychological reasons why I tend to yearn for/and, rely on eating junk food: laziness/depression/to use as comfort food...it's comforting, at first, because it gives you an immediate 'kick' due to the taste; but, then, afterwards, you feel really guilty and sad, ashamed of yourself...for having been so weak as to give in to temptation.

Tue 170919 Tate Britain: William Blake exhibition

-This post is a recollection of events that happened, at least, 2 days back.)-

I recall going to visit Tate Britain Gallery. Where I used the side entrance to see the 'latest' exhibition: William Blake artworks: drawings/paintings/illustrations/poetry/-etc.

I'm not exactly sure what time I arrived there...but, it must have been late evening...somewhere around 4:30 PM; because, I did not get to see all of the show...suddenly, they announced the gallery is closing down in 5 minutes -the gallery closes at: 6 PM-; so, I had to hurry up to see all of the rest of William Blake artworks...something like 3 room fulls I had missed; then, had to leave, immediately.

I promised myself that I would go there, again, soon...next time, arriving there a lot earlier...to see his artworks at a far more leisurely pace...and, possibly, do some copying.

As for the rest of the day, I'm so sorry; but, I honestly cannot now remember...?

Mon 160919 Went Post Office: dep./British Gas payment still too early

-(NOTE: This post is content recalled from 2 days back. Frankly, I can't remember everything; in fact, I can hardly remember anything?!)-

I went down to the Post Office to make a deposit into my bank a/c. I had to pay a bill urgently to British Gas...for the sum of  £77.03p.

However, when I came back in...to go and make the payment...after having given British Gas a phone call, first, just to check...I was told to NOT make the payment, yet; but, instead, to wait until the 19th of the month...which is another 3 days time...when the payment does actually become due.

What else I did with the rest of the day I honestly cannot now remember...? Did I go to visit a gallery? Did I go down the road to buy some 'fish and chips'...? I forgot. So, I'm just going to simply leave it at that.

Sunday 15 September 2019

Sun 150919 Dulwich Picture Galley(closed)/Belair Park: Fed ducks/Did 2 quick sketches

4:30 PM VISITED DULWICH PICTURE GALLERY

http://www.dulwichpicturegallery.org.uk

As usual, I left it really 'late' to go and visit seeing Dulwich Picture Gallery...; I believe I left home somewhere after 4:30 PM...which meant there was only 1/2 an hour left to go. When I reached the gallery, I chained up my bike outside. Walked over to the entrance...only to find the gates were 'closed'.

Decided to continue walking through the gallery...annex building; found a room where they were showing an 'old film' relating to DWG history.

When the film was finished(I didn't get to see it all the way through...having entered somewhere in the middle); I walked further along...and, read some plaque info., again, telling all about the galley history; and, it's founders: Desenfan/and, architect, John Sloane.

-(I do find history fascinating as a subject, sometimes; however, when it comes to actually remembering stuff...; dates/events...then, eventually, I tend to forget; and, will need to re-read in order to revise learning what I'd already learned before.)

Eventually, I found myself sitting on the outside of DWP building in a chair; because I'd already brought along an A4 white sketchbook with me...I decided to try drawing the building's 'outside' architecture. I'm afraid, I didn't do a very good job...lines just wouldn't line up straight...things going very wobbly, indeed!

5:30 PM VISITED BELAIR PARK

I rode my bike into Belair Park...where I stopped to feed the ducks 1 whole loaf of French stick bread.

Afterwards, I sat down on a park bench...and, attempted to draw the ducks...again, not very well, I'm afraid! Finally, I just gave up...; going all the way back home, again.

-----

NOTE: Looking back on this post, now; I think, it might have been Monday that DPG was shut; as they don't open on Monday's/however, on Sunday's they are open.

Sat 140919 CoOp: Brought multiple packets of: Max Strong/Jalpeno & Cheese Crisps/Extra Hot - Visited Norwood Cemetary

-(These events have been recalled from the next day.)-

4 PM VISITED WEST NORWOOD COOP: BROUGHT MULTIPLE PACKETS OF MY FAVOURITE CRISPS

During the evening, I made 2 separate trips down to visit West Norwood CoOp...to go and buy multiple packets of...

-> Max Strong/Jalpeno & Cheese Crips/Extra Hot

...this has become one of my fav. foods to eat; -(my mum seems to like it equally, too)-; I could easily eat one of these for every single day(though, I know, that the intake of too much salt isn't good for the body).

What actually happened was...one time I went over to the CoOp; and, asked how much were the crisps...the big black guy at the counter said £2.00; so, I took all of the multiple packets I had collected in my shopping basket...and, put them back onto the shelf; as £2.00 for crisps was far too 'expensive'!

This time when I went down to the same CoOp...the crisps had been reduced in price to just £1.00 each; and, that's when I thought to myself...this is opportunity knocks; because who knows when I will be able to get the crisps at the same price, again?

I brought £15.00 worth of crisps...costing £1.00 each...during the first run.

Then, I came back in...and, went out, again...to do another run...the next time I brought 8 packets using all strictly 'cash'.

-----

Sure enough, the next day, Sunday, when I went and visited the CoOp...all of that flavour crisps were gone. So, in the end, I think I did the right thing.

5 PM VISITED WEST NORWOOD CEMETARY

I went and visited my aunts grave inside of West Norwood cemetary.

I spoke to a worker guy...in his van...about cutting down the two huge trees which surround the head stone. But, the guy's response was, I might need to talk to the office...who are closed, right now; and, they might be able to help, instead. I thanked him for his advice...and, left he conversation there.

Fri 130919 Brixton Halfords: Tyres pumped/Stockwell: Beckett House

-(These events are a recollection...2 days, afterwards.)-

My original intention in going out during the evening was...

1> Visit National Portrait Gallery in Trafalgar Square for FREE 6:30 'late' night drawing session.

2> See if Beckett House has any letters

7 PM WENT BRIXTON HALFORDS

On my way over to Stockwell; passing by Brixton Halfords...I decided why not go in to get both of bikes types pumped up. I had to wait between1/2 an hour/up to 1 hour long(all the time thinking that NPG 'late' night drawing session is going to be 'closed'); because there were other customers standing in front of me.

7:45 PM VISITED BECKETT HOUSE

I visited Becket House flat...to check if there were any 'important' letters; but, I saw none.

8 PM RETURNED BACK HOME

When I came out of Beckett House...I realised that it would be far too 'late' to go to NPG drawing session which ends at 8:30 PM. So, instead, I decided to return straight back home.

Thu 120918 htmleditor.online/signed on/computer working faster

01:00 AM  FACEBOOK GAMEROOM APP: I LOADED POKER GAMES TO GO AND PLAY

At first, I was thinking of deleting Facebook Gameroom software application from off my computer; but, then, on second thoughts I said to myself, no; after all, it allows me to control playing Poker games/and, such...from just 'one' single place; which is very highly convenient.

Next, I loaded up...

> Zynga Texas Holdem Poker
> WSOP
> Classic Poker (never played it before)
...after loosing a number of FREE poker chips I decided to go and take a break.

01:15 DECIDED TO OPEN UP 2 PROGRAMMING SITES: QUACKIT/W3SCHOOLS

Currently, I have 2 browser windows open...

...as my wish is to learn how to code; or, if I've forgotten codes...then, at least, to go and refresh my knowledge.

01:39 AM GMT QUACKIT.COM: HTMLEDITOR.ONLINE

I went back to go visit QuackIt.com...where I'm looking at various different online tutorials...one of which mentioned that there is a FREE HTMLEditor you can use online called:

https://htmleditor.online/  (standard/fewer buttons)
https://htmleditor.online/full/  (full/more buttons)

I note that this online HTML Editor isn't fancy; but, it is effective. It also gives you access to the underlying source code; which isn't full of unnecessary tags.

10:20 AM SIGNED ON AT STREATHAM JOB CENTER WITH RICHARD

Frankly, I was absolutely sure that I would have great difficulties when going to 'sign on'; wondering to myself what excuse am I supposed to make about my CLW missed appointment? I'm certain they are going to cut off my benefit money completely!

At least, 3 different factors played a part in my purely 'negative' thinking process...

1> I had missed a Central London Works appointment/(which is meant to be mandatory)
2> I woke up after having a really bad dream(the details are too shocking to reveal)
3> Due to ADD/Attention Deficit Disorder I actually arrived there 'late'...!

So much for 'endless worrying'...which doesn't really do anything for your internal/external health.

My appointment time was for 10:20 AM. I'd told Alexa to wake me up at 9:30 AM; which, quite dutifully, she did. However, I was still feeling really sleepy...not having gone to sleep early...so, I continued sleeping for a while. Then, when I eventually got up...the time was nearly 10:00 AM; thus, I had just 20 minutes left to get myself ready. I actually left home at around 10:16 PM...with just 4 minutes to arrive at the job centre. Luckily, traffic was slight; and, my bike was in good working shape; so, I rode really 'fast'. When I did arrive/and, sat down in front of Richard's desk...he said the time was now, 10:27 AM; therefore, I was 'late'! He also explained that he wants to go for a break at 10:30 AM. So, he didn't bother to do any job search check; just signed me on, instantly, right away; then, let me go. The cherry on top of it all was...I don't need to sign on in another 2 weeks time...just turn up for a job fair in 2 weeks(without needing to sign on). Then, I sign on, again, in one months time...which is 10th Oct with Sue at 11 AM.

I left the job centre...still feeling half-awake/half-asleep...and, very slowly, the good news sank in that I was still able to 'sign on'; and, they weren't going to cut my benefits for, at least, 6 months...!

When I arrived back home...I felt most thoroughly relieved.

11:19 AM I NOTICE THE COMPUTER WORKING SO MUCH FASTER, NOW

Using a combination of both Avast/Bull Guard anti-virus software...is making the computer work just like a 'dream'...which, basically, means it's working like normal, now. There is no constant pausing going on. I note that, yesterday/or, maybe, it was early morning...I had used Avast to shut down certain programs which were running inside of the background, quite unnecessarily.

Wed 110919 quackit.com/GPO: Dep. £20/Thames Water: £50/Avast Subs: 3 months trial/Job search: 11th/12th.

14:40 PM GMT QUACKIT.COM/CURRENTLY, WORKING THROUGH THEIR JAVASCRIPT TUTORIAL

Recently, I went and discovered the site...

https://www.quackit.com

...the site consists of extremely well written programming tutorials; -(some of which are 'interactive', for example, Javascript)-; which I use to either learn 'new' things/or else, refresh my previous programming knowledge.

https://www.quackit.com/html/tutorial/
https://www.quackit.com/vbscript/tutorial/
https://www.quackit.com/javascript/tutorial/

The first tutorial I looked at was related to learning: VBScript; and, I completed reading through it...quite simply, because the online tutorial was relatively 'short'; consisting of only 10 pages in length.

5:29 PM WENT POST OFFICE TO MAKE DEPOSIT

I visited West Norwood post office in order to make a £20.00 deposit into my current a/c.

Basically, I needed to make a 'late' payment to Thames Water of £50.00; which I can do as soon as I return back home. My bank account had £30.00 left/needed to deposit a further £20.00 in order to make up the £50.00 needed to pay Thames Water.

6 PM PAID THAMES WATER BILL: £50.00.

I came home from the post office; and, paid my Thames Water bill online; -(I did try phoning; but, they were engaged for far too long for me to hold)-; it also said that the payment might take 24 hours to clear.

Then, when I checked when the next £50.00 installment payment becomes due, again...it said on the 150919; which s in just 3/4 days time!

10 PM AGREED TO AVAST ANTI-VIRUS TRIAL PERIOD SUBSCRIPTION: DUE NOV 11TH

I'm currently using 2 Anti-viruses...

-> BullGuard (Paid for...came FREE with 1 YR Subs when I paid for the 'new' computer, actually)
-> Avast (FREE)

Today, I decided to take out a FREE 3 month subscription to Avast...I will need to pay £35.00 (approx) on 11 Nov 2019; they will email me 7 days before they take the money out of my bank a/c.

11:45 PM DID ONLINE JOB SEARCH

I decided to do an online job search at nearly 12:00 midnight...in this way, the job search I do covers, at least, 2 days; both today the 11th/and, also, for tomorrow 12th.

Because, I have to 'sign on' in tomorrow morning; it makes sense to do the job search, now; then, I don't need to worry that I will need to do it, again, during them morning; as I usually tend to wake up 'late'.

I think, I will ask Alexa to set an alarm...perhaps, one hour before tomorrows job centre appointment.

Tue 100919 Stayed in/Fish & Chips

-(NOTE: This post is being written the following day; so, it really is a recollection of yesterday's events.)-

-----

I stayed in all day. As usual, I played around on the internet; either using my TV/iPad 4/desktop computer.

9 PM WENT OUT: BROUGHT FISH & CHIPS

I went and brought some 'fish & chips' from my local shop...costing £3.50(was missing 0.10p change/the shop keeper let me off...when I said I would go and fetch it, later on...which, eventually, I did...after having eaten.)

-----

CONCLUSION

Of late, I seem to have gotten a little bit 'lazy'...; certainly, I've not been updating my Blogger.com journal quite as regularly, anymore. The reasons why are two...

1> I have so many browser windows open...; that, sometimes, it's difficult to work...as opening anymore browser windows...or, just switching between browser windows...makes the computer 'freeze'.

2> I find it's easier to just get on with 'doing' stuff...rather than having come come along here...and, carefully 'document' stuff by going into loads of details.

At the end of the day, though, I have to admit the above reasons are merely just an excuse. The real truth of the matter is, I don't tend to do absolutely anything, regularly; having ADD/Attention Deficit Disorder means my mind tends to run from one thing to a next...; I don't stay doing just 'one' same thing, constantly, all the time(whether I actually like doing that thing/or, not).

Mon 090919 Amazon Prime video

02:13 AM GMT WATCHING AMAZON PRIME VIDEO: DATA CENTER/THE TRUE COST OF THE INTERNET

Found a really interesting video...which shows what is the true cost of the internet...answer: it is very costly, indeed!

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Data-Center-True-Cost-Internet/dp/B074PGMXQ6/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=internet&qid=1567988663&s=instant-video&sr=1-1

Sun 08091 Stayed in/Watch 2 YouTube videos: Learn Javascript.../Updated Netlify site

Today, I mainly stayed in...watching YouTube Videos...relating to learning, Javascript; either in bed watching internet connected TV/or else, whilst seated at my desktop computer, instead.

Due to ADD/Attention Deficit Disorder...I never actually watch even a single video all the way through...going straight from start to finish; but, instead, I use a process of 'start and stop'...then, go off and do something less...; then, return. So, often, by the end of the day, I still haven't finished watching a single video, yet; maybe, by the end of the week/month...I still haven't finished viewing it...?!

One of my main interests has been to study learning Javascript; and, I mostly use free YouTube videos to go and study learning this subject.

UPDATED MY NETLIFY WEB SITE

In between times, I also went and updated my Netlify web site.../-etc.

https://paulramnora.netlify.com

*NOTE*: I think, rather than waste precious time, constantly, uploading, and, then, re-uploading my web site pages onto Netlify server. I may just try, instead, to upload just merely 'once' per day/whilst doing all 'testing/updating' offline...; otherwise, it's a huge waste of time...re-uploading every single time you make a small change(mis-spelled word/or, 1 added one new link/-etc).

Sat 070919 Updated Netlify site/YTVideo: Intro. to XCode/programmableweb: API articles/video series

03:44 AM  UPDATED MY NETLIFY WEB SITE

It's still very early morning; and, I've not gone to sleep, yet; having been working on code from last night. I wished to update my Netlify web site just before going off to sleep. I had to fix the Javascript navigation menu part; and, now, it works...; but, I'm sure, this code is probably far too long/verbose; I'm not yet skilled enough to know how to shorten it down more. Still having done something...as opposed to having done nothing, is good enough for me, at the moment.

https://paulramnora.netlify.com

05:42 AM YOUTUBE VIDEO: INTRODUCTION TO LEARNING XCODE

How to Make an App for Beginners (2019) - Lesson 1

The above is a very important lesson/or, rather series of lessons...I think, there are 10 lessons in all;; as it introduces me to XCode...and, how to program both the iPad/iPhone/as well as, Apple Mac computers in general.

8 PM TODAY, I DIDN'T GO OUT AND BUY ANY 'FISH & CHIPS', TOO EXPENSIVE/STAYED IN, MADE BAKED BEANS & EGGS, INSTEAD
Because, right now, I'm really strapped for cash...therefore, I decided to not go out and buy the usual 'fish & chips' costing £3.50 at a time. Say, I had 'fish & chips' 10 times per month that would add up to a total of £30.50/20 times per month would cost £61.00/30 times per month would cost: £91.50/-etc.!

Instead, I thought rather than go out and buy food...I would just simply stay in...and, open up a can of baked beans(0.30p a tin)/and, make an egg omlette(1.15 for 10 x eggs/lasting a week) eaten with with bread(1.00 for bread/lasting half a week/or, even up to a full week).

I'm thinking of making a few other budget cuts, soon; in regards to monthly subscriptions which I really can't afford to maintain, anymore.

9 PM PROGRAMMABLEWEB.COM/API ARTCLES

A few days back, I went and joined:

https://www.programmableweb.com

...where I'm currently reading up about the user of API technology; it is a set of 6 articles explaining what are the basics.

I subscribed to the YouTube channel: programmableweb; and, I'm currently watching their series of videos concerning API's...

Fri 060919/Udemy: Android Developer Studio/Lil Sullivan phone call/Fish & Chips

00:00 AM MIDNIGHT: AWOKE

Right now, the time says 00:39 AM; and, I've just awoken. Due to insomnia/endless worry, I find my sleep pattern is, constantly, being broken.

I wish I could use the time to get on with doing some serious studying; but, unfortunately, with my ADD/Attention Deficit Disorder type of mind...I find it impossible to remain fully focused on learning anything; the habitual pattern is 'start and stop'...and, not finish learning even a single thing.

Nevertheless, I know it's important to never completely give up on yourself...; even if everybody else in the whole wide world gives up on you really 'quick'. Therefore, if I were to fail: 100/1000/10000/100000 times...; then, I will still 'try', again... ;-)

00:49 AM ATTEMPTING TO LEARN HOW TO USE: ANDROID STUDIO

Yesterday, I went and downloaded the FREE Android Studio software online from...

https://developer.android.com/
https://developer.android.com/studio

...while, at the same time, I'm trying to follow along a Udemy teaching video...

3 PM ARTIST LIL SULLIVAN CALLED

Lil Sullivan, is in the habit of phoning me whenever I did not turn up to class on Thursdays/if not on the same day Thursday...whilst the class is still going on; then, she will usually call me the very next day, Friday.

I told her I wasn't able to make class because there was a conflicting appointment; I was ordered to be at Central London Works at 3 PM; however, because I did not turn up there...; it's possible the job centre might decide to go cut off my benefits.

I also asked her did anybody else turn up to class; she mentioned one person, Jenny; explaining that Kate said she wasn't feeling well.

I mentioned I wasn't too interested in attending anymore Re-Makery meetings; but, I might sign up with them to go and learn woodworking.

The conversation ended there.

10:25 PM WENT TO MY LOCAL 'FISH & CHIPS' SHOP

As usual, for somebody with ADD/Attention Deficit Disorder...we tend to leave everything only up until when the very last minute comes along; thus, because I knew the fish & chip shop would be closing at 10:30 PM...I rushed off down the road -(didn't take bike/just feet)- to go and get a bag of 'fish & chips'; luckily, the chip shop was still open. Came back in. Gave some to my mum/and, eat the rest for myself..

Thu 050919 Missed CLW appointment/Gambled: £5.00/lost: 0.47p bal./British gas: £77.00 monthly. Amazon: USB rechargeable Headlamp/Fish & Chips

10 AM POSTAL DELIVERY: AMAZON HEAD LAMP

I had ordered from off Amazon web site...

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07PYH4SDM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

...a headlamp costing £10.99.

It was easy enough to set up/took 5 hours to do a first full charge/works effectively.

11 AM - 3:30 PM WENT OFF TO SLEEP/WOKE UP TO GO WATCH TV/COMPLETELY FORGOT I HAD AN IMPORTANT 'CENTRAL LONDON WORKS' APPOINTMENT...?!

After setting up the headlamp to charge...I went off to sleep somewhere around 11 AM; then, woke up, again...at around 3:30 PM.

The good news is, the headlamp is now fully charged...and, the charging light has gone from 'red'/(needs charging)...to 'green'/(fully charged).

The bad news is, all of a sudden, I remembered that I had to attend a very important 'Central London Works' appointment at 3 PM in Vauxhall. Only it takes, at least, 1/2 an hour long to ride over there...so, by the time I would arrive...it would be 4 PM...when the 1 hour appointment is already over!

Therefore, I had no other choice except to phone the receptionist...; stating that they should take a note that I was ill; and, thus, unable to come along to the appointment; please, give me another appointment. The receptionist said, they would send the note.

Frankly, I really don't know exactly what is going to happen, next; as there is a strong possibility that the job centre is going to cut off my benefits when they hear the news that I missed my CLW appointment; that scares the living daylights out of me...as I have no other income to live on; or to use to pay bills with.

5 PM PHONED BRITISH GAS ABOUT HAVING MISSED A FORTNIGHTLY PAYMENT/MADE A NEW MONTHLY PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT: £77.00

I phoned British Gas to say I received a letter dated: 310819...stating they had cancelled my fortnightly payment arrangement...due to a missed 2nd payment.

I also explained to them that, today, I had made an online payment towards the £300.00 overdue electric bill...of £55.00...thus, reducing the bill to now become £245.00.

Eventually, the guy I spoke to got me to agree to another payment arrangement...this time, monthly, of £77.00...starting on the 19th. A new payment card to be delivered in 7 days time.

8:30 PM CYCLED DOWN THE ROAD TO GO BUY 'FISH & CHIPS'

I went down the road to go and buy some 'fish and chips'; 2 streets away. I didn't have enough change...missing 0.10p; however, the shop lady let me off. Then, 10 or 15 minutes, later; I rode my bike back there, again...to pay the missing 0.10p.

CONCLUSION

Right now, I have a major ? hanging over my head; will the job centre choose to cut off my benefits altogether for the next 6 months...?! They've already gone and done that before...whenever I missed an appointment; so, it certainly wouldn't surprise me very much if they did it, again, once more. The other ? I have is...could I actually survive without any benefit money coming in...?

I'm going to have to make up an excuse as to why I missed the appointment; and, then, hopefully, they will be willing enough to listen to it. I dislike having to lie...; much preferring to 'always' tell the truth...saying it just like it is...no matter how bad things get; however, there are times when I feel I have little other choice left but to try my utmost best to lie.

I still have the water rate bill to go and pay; which, I believe, was another fortnightly payment arrangement I've gone and missed paying.

If I were to let everything bother me too much, mentally; then, I think, one or two things would happen, next...either I will go mad; or, my stomach ulcer will return...due to too much endless worrying. So, I have to try and detach emotionally from things as best I can...; and, just pretend that everything is going to be ok; as doing too much worrying really isn't good at all; can, in fact, prove counter-productive; after all, if I can't even help myself...; then, I certainly won't be able to help anybody else...especially, my elderly mum. In this way, due to having serious responsibility towards others...; and, not having to consider just yourself, alone...kind of forces you to stay, at least, half-way 'sane'.

Wednesday 4 September 2019

Wed 040919 Didn't go out...stayed in. Sunil phone call: BJJ on Monday./Amazon: USB rechargeable hand held torch.

5 PM PHONE CALL FROM SUNNIL

I received a phone call from my Krav Maga instructor friend: Sunnil. He mentioned that they were having BJJ/Brazillian Ju Jitsu classes in Clapham Common. It was £40.00 for 1 lesson per week/£50.00 for two/and, £70.00 a month for unlimited. I think, he mentioned 4 days(though, forgot which) for unlimited.

I told him that, right now, today...I'm staying in because I have to await Amazon.co.uk to deliver a parcel in the evening between: 6 PM -10 PM. So, maybe, next week...; he said, he'll keep in touch.

6-8 PM STAYED IN WAITING TO RECEIVE A PARCEL: ONE HAND HELD USB RECHARGEABLE LAMP

I ordered from off Amazon web site a USB rechargeable lamp from off...

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01N9Q9BRQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

...costing £35.99. They said they would deliver it between 6 PM - 10 PM. It actually arrived on the doorstep somewhere between 7-8 PM.

It was easy enough to charge(5 hours); and, set up/use.

Overall, I'm really happy with it(don't have to keep on buying any new batteries/or, even, rechargeable batteries); but, there are still many other options I would like to buy/try.

CONCLUSION

I don't think Sunnil understands that I'm really not the same person I was before.

Quite truly, circumstances have changed...both money wise; and, also, mentally/physically...; I'm seriously strapped for 'cash'...living right 'on the edge'; and, therefore, cannot 'afford' to take expensive martial arts lessons, anymore; nevermind, due to feelings of depression...I haven't been exercising, properly...so, neither my body/mind is really up to doing any serious 'keep fit' training. I have so many other problems to have to worry about, instead. The only real hope I can see is if I could find a job that 'pays'...whether it's a job I do truly want to do/or, not.

Yes, I might spend say £10 - £50.00 here and there...; but, these are desperate measures. It's my own way of fighting against 'reality/truth'...if I have my last penny left...I will go and spend it...just in order to pretend that everything is ok...when, of course, it's not. It's like inside of my mind, I've been 'living a lie'.

The honest truth is, I'm totally flat broke...; I need at least multiple thousands of pounds in order to be able to fix up the house/with ceiling falling down/and, floors needing to be patched up here and there/windows broken/-etc. I feel I'm living nothing else but a constant and endless 'worry'...?!

Monday 2 September 2019

Tue 030919 Gambled £40.00(£10+£30)/lost: 0.87p Bal./Re-powering London meeting: £22/Stockwell/Shopped Balham Aldi/Fast food: Kebab/Chapati

3 PM GAMBLED WILLIAM HILL ROULETTE: DEPOSITED £10.00/LOST: 0.40p BAL

I decided to have a go at gambling...who knows I might get lucky, and, possibly, succeed in doubling my money.

Unfortunately, things went entirely the wrong way...

Deposited £10.00...made a £3.00 bet which lost, immediately...my dropped total now said just £7.00 left. I made a £6.00 bet which won; I was now £7.20 up...I believe I won, again...my total said £8.40 up...then, I continued betting £6.00...it lost...eventually, my total said just 0.40p; after which I decided to quit feeling complete and total disgust!

4 PM GAMBLED WILLIAM HILL ROULETTE: DEPOSITED £30.00/LOST 0.87p BAL

I decided to go and chase after my losses by depositing a further £30.00 into my William Hill a/c.

At first, I was winning to the tune of around £45.00; but, then, I went and bet far too high £30.00 all at once; and, it lost. However, I didn't wish to stop there...so, I continued chasing my losses...eventually, I made another bet for £30.00 which also lost. Again, I tried chasing my losses...and, my balance just dropped lower and lower still; eventually, I was left with just 0.87p balance; which is when I decided to quit gambling.

6 PM WENT BLUESTAR HOUSE/RE-POWERING LONDON/BRIXTON

I was requested to go to a Re-Powering London meeting being held at Bluestar House in Brixton. As usual, I left home far too late...at around 10 minutes to 6 PM. So, I arrived there 'late'...maybe, 6:10 PM. Anyway, the meeting was held on the 8th floor...and, we had a discussion about installing a large solar power meter...the size of a boiler; we we asked to give our opinions in regards to this. At the end of the meeting we were given the sum of £22.00 for attending. I think, the time we left the meeting was around 9 PM.

9:30 PM WENT STOCKWELL

I rode my bike over to Stockwell to go and check out seeing my mum's flat.

There were no letters to collect. So, I just very quickly looked over things; then, left.

10 PM WENT SHOPPING BALHAM/ALDI SUPERSTORE
During my bike ride home from Stockwell...I took the Clapham Common path...I did some shopping at Balham Aldi...I brought...

1 x packet of 8 Meringue
1 x box of peaches
1 x brown seeded loaf bread
1 x Soya Bean milk
1 x packet of carrots

...at first, I wasn't too sure I would be able to afford it; as I'd forgotten to bring along my debit card; and, instead, had to use another one...where the balance was really low. However, much to my surprise, the total bill came to under a fiver; so, the payment went through with no problem.

10:30 PM BROUGHT SOME FAST FOOD
I decided to ride my bike down to the local 'fish and chip' shop...which is located only 2 streets away; however, that shop was shut.

So, I brought some fast food from two shops...both located across the road from one another...

4 x Chapati (Papadom) @ 0.85p each.
1 x large Donner Kebab @ £7.xx.

I just wanted to eat something to celebrate having gotten through the day; and, got paid £22.00; (even, though, I went and lost it all through doing some very reckless betting).

Mon 020919 Post Office/Shopped: Grocery/Streatham/Brixton: BlueStar House/Tate Britain/Paid TalkTalk/Council tax

3 PM INTERNET NOT WORKING...DUE TO 'UNPAID' BILL

When I awoke, I was amazed to notice that the 'internet' was no longer working, anymore.

This meant that none of my appliances...

- iPad 4
- Desktop computer
- Smart TV

...were working...?! This was worrying, indeed; as I use the internet to pay bills/to gamble/to surf/even to blog, like I'm doing here, right now/-etc.; and, I just couldn't do none of that anymore.

Of course, I figured the only reason why that situation might occur...is because the phone bill wasn't paid; so, the phone company, TalkTalk, had decided to cut off my internet access completely.

4 PM  WEST NORWOOD POST OFFICE TO MAKE DEPOSIT/CARD DIDN'T WORK?!

I went down to West Norwood Post Office in order to make a deposit into my a/c.; so, that I can pay my bills. Unfortunately, something appeared to be wrong with the bank a/c. card.

4:15 PM WENT TO WEST NORWOOD GROCERY STORE

I went into West Norwood grocery store and brought some shopping...

6 x plantains
3 x packets of rice (different varieties)
1 x Jamaican white bread

I paid for everything using cash; whereas, normally, I would use card.

4:30 PM STREATHAM BANK/DEPOSIT

I returned back home; where I left my shopping. Then, rode back out...going down to Streatham in order to make a deposit; in that way, I don't have to carry cash around...instead, I can pay for everything using my bank a/c. card.

After having made my way down to Streatham, I decided rather than return straight back home(boring); I'll go and visit seeing Tate Britain Gallery, instead.

5 PM VISITED BLUE STAR HOUSE IN BRIXTON/RE-POWERING LONDON OFFICE
When I was riding my bike through Brixton...; all of a sudden, I remembered that I had an evening appointment to attend at the Re-powering London office, BlueStar House, Brixton. So, I got off my bike...and, asked the receptionist to let me in. They didn't even bother asking me exactly what my business was...all I had to do was merely mention the name: Re-powering London; and, that was it. The receptionist guy sent me up to the 9th floor.

When I arrived on the 9th floor...2 friendly young ladies...took me down to the 8th floor...which is where the Re-powering London office is located. They confirmed that the meeting will be tomorrow evening, instead; at 6 PM. After which, I thanked them for the info.; and, left.

5:15 PM TATE BRITAIN GALLERY/PIMLICO/MILLBANK

Inside of Tate Britain 'drawing room'...where visitors are provided with FREE papers/easels/pencils/rubbers/-etc.; I drew a painting of a woman nursing an elderly man in bed; the which drawing I left right there.

6:10 PM HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT/COPIED RODIN SCULPTURE: BURGER'S OF CALAIS

When I came out of Tate Britain -because it was closing time at 6 PM- I went over to the park -next to houses of Parliament- to go and practice drawing Rodin's sculpture: The Burger's of Calais.

9 PM RETURNED BACK HOME

When I returned back home, again...I tried phoning Talk Talk by dialling 100; the message said, they are not open, right now; and, so, I must call back tomorrow when they are open....I think, from 8 AM.

I decided to call the same telephone number, again; and, this time instead of selecting option 2...talk to a customer service representative; I choose option 1...pay the bill. I paid £60.00.

10 PM - 1 AM WENT TO SLEEP/WOKE UP: INTERNET WORKING, ONCE MORE

Having no internet to watch...I decided to go and take a rest in bed.

When I awoke somewhere around 1 AM...very early morning. The first thing I reached out for was my iPad 4; and, amazingly enough the internet was back on, again.

When I checked out my TalkTalk account balance...it said the current bill was for £28.00; and, I had £31.00 balance left in credit. This means, I don't have to worry about paying next months internet 'broadband' bill. On the other hand, it might be a really good idea...to keep the internet fully paid up, at least, 2 months in advance.

2:40 AM PAID COUNCIL TAX

I had to remember to pay the Council Tax; otherwise, they will keep on sending me telephone reminders. I paid £31.00.
