Mon 301120 Missed Brixton Halfords 3PM appointment/Went Streatham/Norwood GPO

2 PM ALEXA ALARM WENT OFF/IGNORED IT/MISSED BRIXTON HALFORDS APPOINTMENT

I had set an alarm using my Alexa device to go off at 2 PM...reminding me to go to Brixton Halfords to get my bike looked at/fixed; unfortunately, I ignored the alarm...and, then, went straight back to sleep.

When I did awake the time was was past 3 PM; and, going on 4 PM. So, I knew I had missed my Brixton Halfords appointment which was for 3.

That just means I will have to arrange making another appointment for a next time/day.

4:00 PM WENT TO VISIT STREATHAM NAT WEST/CLOSED

It was very important that I pay a bill of £25.00; only my current a/c. had insufficient money.

So, although, I had the money cash...; I hadn't yet gone and deposited it. When I went to to Streatham Nat West, I discover the bank was closed; which made me think about going over to Brixton branch, instead; however, I thought I'd never get there in time...?!

My next thoughts were -(don't know why I didn't think of it before?)- go and visit West Norwood Post Office; and, I can make the deposit there; they usually close around 5:30 PM.

5:00 PM VISITED WEST NORWOOD POST OFFICE/OPEN

I arrived at West Norwood post office at around 5 PM; and, was really surprised to see a very long queue...; there must have been 15 or so people in front...and, due to Choronavirus 'social distancing'...the quite extended outside of the post office doors...and, onto the street pavements.

I think, it must have been somewhere around 5:15 PM when I was, eventually, able to make my Nat West deposit...I paid in to my current a/c. using my debit card the sum of £30.00 (3 x £10.00 notes cash). Hopefully, that should cover the DDR-Direct Debit that's due on the 1st for £25.00 to Loqbox.

Sun 291120

Saturday 281120 Brixton/Streatham pound store/Spoke with Helga/Bike check up

11 AM WENT BRIXTON TO DEPOSIT SOME CASH

I rode my bike over to Brixton to go and deposit £100.00 in Nat West; but, the bank was already closed.

12:00 MIDDAY WENT STREATHAM TO DEPOSIT SOME CASH

I decided, instead, to go over to Nat West in Streatham; but, they too were closed.

12:30 PM WENT STREATHAM POUND STORE

I visited Streatham pound store where I decided to buy some family presents...

- Christmas Bags

- Gift Boxes

- Children toys: 2 x Santa hats/pellet gun

- Some plates

- Sweets: Toblerone

- Gift Chocolates

- Cat food: 6 boxes: 3 x Tuna/3 x Chicken flavoured pellets

- Cat food: 1 pack of Tuna pouches

- Etc.

In all, the total shopping came to around £66.00!

-(So much for using the money to go pay the bills.)-

After that I cycled home with 6 plastic shopping bags: 3 bags being balanced on either side of the handle bars. Luckily, due to Choronavirus, traffic was sparse; so, it wasn't too difficult making the journey back home, again.

2 PM SPOKE TO NEIGHBOUR HELGA

I saw my next door neighbour, Helga; who lives just across the road. She used to be a friend to both my mum/and, aunt. I invited her into the house to look downstairs...where I keep both the cat/and, cat food.

She told me that her own cat(I think, she said his name was, Alex...?!); who she had kept for 19+ years...had died...due to incurable illness. She took him to the vet; but, there was nothing they could do...except put the cat down, peacefully; the which cost was £300.00!

She also mentioned that her car carbaretta had been stolen by totally brazen thieves...when she had parked it at the door.

I sympathised with her in regards to both her cat passing/and, also, in regards to the stolen car parts.

11:30 PM BOOKED HALFORD FREE BIKE CHECK UP: 3PM MON 30TH NOV 2020

https://www.halfords.com

Booked free bike check up at Brixton Halfords at 3 PM Mon 30th Nov 2020.

Fri 271120 Phoned cousin Anne/Mum's death, 1 year anniversary

5 PM PHONED COUSIN ANNE

My cousin, Anne...had phoned me 3 weeks back...and, I had been very slow to return back the call; due to a mixture of waking up 'late'/and, also, mind getting, constantly, distracted...ADD/Attention Deficit Disorder.

Anyway, I phoned her back...and, explained what was going on..lateness(waking nights/sleeping day)/ADD...and, so on. She seemed to understand.

I also told her that, today, the 27th was the anniversary day of my mum's death. She said she would light a candle for her.

We chatted about her writing a book/memoirs; and, so on...

Frankly, I couldn't think of anything really 'important' to say...; or, which wasn't related to matters we had spoken about in previous calls.

Eventually, -(I heard her yawning a couple of times...and, figured she must be tired)- I closed the call wishing her and her family all the best.

-(I also spoke to her about my mum and aunts gravestone...which I've still not gotten around to having done, yet.)-

MUM' S DEATH/1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

I was thinking of going out...and, buying some flowers to put on both my mum and aunt's grave; however, most unfortunately, I did not. The reason why not is I felt it really wasn't that urgent...; I could do this task either tomorrow, during the weekend/or, maybe, some time next week.

However, I did make up my mind to place some flowers there for 100% sure.

Thursday 26 November 2020

Thu 261120 Shopped CoOp/Iceland

7:45 PM DUMPED RUBBISH

I rode my bike half-way down the road to go dump some 'smelly food' rubbish in the public bin...which is located opposite the post box.

The food I dumped was food gone off.

  • When I went downstairs into the living room...I looked inside of a Sainsbury plastic bag...and, it was filled with very badly 'decaying' food contents/all coloured 'black'...I'm not even sure exactly what that was...?! When I peeped inside of the bag, I could clearly see that there were 'insects' also living and growing inside of it. I, immediately, grabbed the bag and placed it outside the door...ready to take away.
  • The other food stuff I threw away...I found 2 x packets of Jacob's plain crackers biscuits...they were outdated...I believe the print said something like: 2017; and, now, it's: 2020...I decided not even to bother opening the packages...those had to go.
  • And, there was a large packet containing smaller packets of 'mini-cheddars'...which, normally, I love eating. However, when I tried eating one...without looking at the date...the taste was disgusting/totally off! That, too, had to be dumped.

8 PM SHOPPED GROCERS

The first bit of shopping I did was to go and buy some fruit from the local grocers...

1 x bunch of bananas

3 x tomatoes(actually, it was 4 tomatoes I'd brought; but, one of these, accidentally, rolled underneath the counter...and, I just felt far too deeply embarrassed to mention anything about it... so, I decided to just completely 'ignore' that loss).

The total cost of my purchase was: £2.50. I think, they charge £1.20 for bananas/and, I'm not too sure how much the 4 tomatoes cost, looks like: £1.30.

8:15 COLLECTED FREE METRO NEWSPAPER

On my way to go visit the CoOp supermarket...I picked up a FREE copy of Metro newspaper from West Norwood train station.

-(I think, it's very important to keep up with what is the 'latest news'...; otherwise, it's possible to get left way behind; there could be a war/or, riots going on.../or, Choronavirus getting far worse/-etc. If you don't ever 'read/watch' the news...; then, frankly, you don't know...?)-

8:30 SHOPPED CO OP

Next, I decided to go shopping at the CoOp...; because I have no bread left inside of the house...which is driving me nuts! Bread and butter -(I still got 2 tubs of butter left inside of the fridge)- is the least one can expect to have inside of the house...something to dip into your water/or, tea.

I brought, 4 x French stick bread...going really 'cheap'/and, also, 1 full uncut loaf...also, going really 'cheap'. The total cost of all that bread...was less that £2.00.

1 also brought 2 x croissants going for: 0.59p each.

Normally, buying 1 x bread costs £1.00; so, I got 5 x going for an absolute bargain(1 x French stick: 0.19p.)

(I think, those things were going 'out of date', soon; that why they decided rather than dump it...just sell it off, now, really 'cheap'.)

9 PM PM SHOPPED ICELAND

Came out of CoOp...and, crossed over the road...to go visit Iceland, instead. I brought...

10 x packets of Bourbon Cream biscuits (£2.00 for 5 packets)

3 x Ice cream boxes - 2 x Ice cream cones box/1 x ice cream lolly box (£1.00 per box)

1 x Mango Juice (£1.35)

7 x pies/4 x Steak & Kidney/3 Mince pies (69p each)

1 x box of 15 eggs (£1.25)

2 x sliced bread (2 x for £1.80)

1 x large pack of Cooked ham (£2.00)

To be perfectly honest, I was telling myself to buy no biscuits/ice cream...sweets; as too much sweets is really not good for me...; however, in the end, I felt I couldn't resist it. The biscuits were 'cheap'; and, I have no other biscuits left inside of the house...everything done; so, I felt I had to have, at least, some. The ice cream, though, was a luxury buy...; at £1.00 for 3 boxes(multiple ice creams inside of each box)...not too expensive; but, also, something, I really enjoy. Eating food you don't really enjoy...just ain't no fun; makes you feel kind of depressed.

-(NOTE: Normally, I love eating sweets...chocolates/-etc.; but, recently, my teeth have been giving me problems...; and, as I don't want to go visit seeing the dentist...which I 'hate'; and, especially, in a time of, Choronavirus; therefore, I've decided to do my utmost best to go off eating far too many sweets.)-

-(I found myself, constantly, thinking about buying 'curry and rice'; but, this time, I decided against doing that; as I can buy it another time, instead.)-

CONCLUSION

Rode my bike straight back home; immediately, ate one of the Steak & Kidney pies/and, also, treated myself to a ice cream chocolate lolly/two buttered croissants, and, a pint of water...before going off to bed.

-(NOTE: My bank a/c. balance needs topping up, desperately; as, otherwise, I'm broke...got only pennies left/no pounds...!)-

-----

OTHER INCIDENTS ON THE STREET

1> TOOK A LEAK/OPPOSITE ICELAND SUPERSTORE

Before, I entered Iceland...I felt a really desperate need to go take a 'leak'...; so, I crossed over the road to where I saw a dark recess...and, took a quick leak inside there. Luckily, just as I was done...; a girl walked into the very same entrance(there are houses/flats).

SPOKE TO A BLACK GUY/STRANGER INSIDE/OUTSIDE OF ICELAND

As I had finished buying shopping at Iceland check out...; and, was just about to leave...; I looked up, and, inside of the CoOp I saw a black guy who had a bike...which he actually took inside of Iceland...the bike looked exactly the same as mine: 'Carrera Two' model -(minus the specific locks I went and brought)-; so, I stopped to talk to him for a bit...stating: " I have a bike just like that!"

Outside of Iceland, I spoke to him, again...mentioning, "Did you buy that bike at, Halfords?"...he nodded his head; because I figured this guy don't wanna talk to me too much...plus, it's utterly freezing cold...I decided to let him go...saying, "Take it easy, brother!"...and, just left the conversation there.

-(I gotta be careful when I'm talking to total strangers on the street; because you never know exactly what could be going through their head...they could be friend/or, foe.../sane or mental.../good mood or bad mood...and, it's not always perfectly obvious...?!)

HELPED A POOR PERSON (OR, WHO KNOWS; A PERSON MERELY 'PRETENDING' TO BE POOR?!)

Outside of the CoOp, I saw some guy sitting down on the pavement in the freezing cold. Taking some pity on him...; so, when I'd done all my shopping at both CoOp/Iceland...I decided to hand him a packet of Bourbon Cream biscuits.

(I wanted to buy him a 'hot drink'; but, didn't see anything like that in either CoOp/Iceland.)

(NOTE: I have to be careful about treating strangers on the street; as, next time, you see them they are likely to want more. Many of these people are only interested in 'taking' from you...; but, they ain't really interested in giving anything back.)

2> TOOK A LEAK/AT THE CORNER STREET OF WEST NORWOOD POST OFFICE

When I'd reached West Norwood Post Office...; I wanted to 'leak', again. So, I went off to the side road of Post Office...and, right in the middle of my taking a 'leak'...a woman walked straight by me.

Naturally, I felt rather ashamed to be caught completely off guard like that...; but, there was nothing I could do to stop myself(other than piss my pants). The utterly freezing winter cold...makes one want to empty one's bladder. I guess, in future, I'm going to have to be really careful...about drinking; and, then, deciding to go out.

-----

CONCLUSION

As I've gone and described in these 'other incidents'...; whenever I go off down the road...no single trip is ever exactly the same. Things happen...which, mostly, I didn't even bother to mention...; in fact, when I actually think about it...there were, at least, 1 or 2 other 'strange' incidents...

THE COOP CLERK SPOKE TO ME ABOUT MY CAT

The lady at the CoOp counter...said to me, 'how is the cat?' Because, the last time I went in there...I had brought a load of cat food pouches...; and, did mention to her it's to feed the cat...who wasn't eating the 'tinned' cat food. When she said that...my mind was elsewhere...packing shopping in bags...so, I didn't quite catch on...until the last moment. I told her everything is fine, now; the cat is eating, again.

CAR BEEPING ITS HORN AT ME FOR GOING TOO 'SLOW'/OR, POSSIBLY, BLOCKING THE WAY

Another incident...was as I'm riding my bike going back home...having reached West Norwood Library, I had to ride really 'slow'...attempting to balance 2 full shopping bags on either side of my bike handle bars...and, also, hoping that the bags don't tear by, constantly, striking against the bike wheels.

All of a sudden, a car straight behind me started getting irritated...and, constantly, blowing it's horn...which I thought was totally unnecessary...because I ride extremely close to the side pavement...just merely inches away...thus, giving cars sufficient room to pass.

Anyway, this beeping of the horn...caused me to dismount off my bike...cross over the road towards the Post Office...and, walk instead of ride back home.

Wednesday 25 November 2020

Wed 251120 Shopped for cat food/Met on Facebook, Murielle/Downloaded Viber (chat app.)

7 PM WENT SHOPPING FOR CAT FOOD/BROUGHT 2 BOXES OF DRY PELLET FOOD

At around 7 PM, I went down the road, initially, with the intention of going and dumping some 'smelly' food rubbish; then, possibly, get a little bit of exercise by jogging back up the road, again.

However, after having gone and dumped the rubbish into a public bin opposite the post box half way down my road; next, I decided to go and pick up a FREE Metro newspaper from West Norwood train station. Much to my surprise, as I proceeded to walk all along the high street...everywhere was still open..; and, instead, of night...I discovered it was, actually, late evening!

After collecting the newspaper; I crossed the Zebra crossing...and, brought myself some 20 x pieces of Chicken. £3.00 for a box of 10 x chicken wings/and, I brought  2 x boxes...all because the minimum card payment is £4.00.

When the chicken was ready...which was pretty 'fast'...I guess, it was all already cooked; I next proceeded along the high street to go and buy 2 boxes of 'dry' food for the cat in the form of pellets; I brought 2 boxes: 1 x chicken/1 x tuna; both cost £1.19p each...again, I used card to pay for it.

Then, I went straight back home...jogging for a little bit...; but, not really feeling 'fit' enough to be able to jog for too very long. I had to pause after running say 10 or 20 yards; which is really bad...I need to work on walking/running a whole lot more.

8 PM MET MURIELLE ON FACEBOOK

I was on Facebook...looking through a number of friend requests; when I saw one request from somebody called: Murielle Reyes (decided to go have a look at their Facebook page just to confirm they are who they say there are...; and, it's not just an advert/or, somebody trying to sell me stuff)...

...the first thing I noticed was there wasn't a lot of information being shown inside of her Facebook page...; as it seemed to be relatively 'new'; also, I didn't see any photograph of her/just a few photos of her kitten. (Though, she did eventually send me a photo when I requested it through Facebook Messenger.)

-----

Facebook Messenger text...

As we spoke, she told me she is an Italian living in France.

>>>

I am Murielle 34 years old single with two children I live in the Var in the Toulonnais region in France

<<<

I explained I'm single; but, I'm not interested in looking for a serious 'internet relationship' with anyone; however, I'm quite happy to talk...which is something I find fun; to which she agreed.

-----

Anyway, she introduced me to Viber chat app. So, I decided to go and download it...both onto my Desktop computer/and, also, onto my iPad...just to find out what it looks like/does/how the application works/-etc. (If I don't like it...I can always 'delete' it, later on.)

I've already been through a similar kind of setting up process before...

  1. First, you download the Desktop app.
  2. Next, you are directed to download the iPad -(or, phone)- version of the same app.
  3. Finally, in order to connect both of these things together...Desktop/iPad (or, phone)...you are told to open your iPad/iPhone...and, point it at the 'barcode' showing on your Desktop screen; and, that's how everything gets joined.

So far to date, though; I have not actually spoken to anyone on Viber, yet.

9 PM SPOKE TO MY COUSIN, OLIVER

I phoned to speak to my cousin, Sharon; only her son, Oliver, answered the phone...he told me his mother is sleeping; and, as I didn't wish to wake her up...instead, I decided to keep on speaking with him, instead.

He told me he is going to buy some amazon fish food kit; and, directed me where on Amazon store to go and look to find the advert...

I also went and did some YouTube searches to find the same related stuff...

What are Giant Prehistoric Triops?

Feeding the Triops colonies with Carrots!

I also connected with Oliver by exchanging a couple of Facebook text messages sent through email to his mum's Yahoo.co.uk a/c. He sent me some further pictures of the same stuff.

Monday 23 November 2020

Mon 231120 FREE food delivery - Shopped CoOp/brought cat food

5 PM FREE FOOD DELIVERY

At around 5 PM evening...after having slept...I went and opened up the front door...to see a FREE food delivery bag from Paxton Green Time Bank charity. The bag included...

5 x Bags of snacks

10 x chocolate bars

4 x fruit (2 x bananas/2 pears)

3 x boxes of soup

2 x Nuts based boxes of milk

-etc.

9 PM VISITED THE COOP TO BUY CAT FOOD

I went to visit West Norwood CoOp supermarket store...to go and buy some cat food; as, otherwise, there was absolutely none left inside of the house.

I brought 3 different flavours of Cat foot...

- Chicken

- Chicken mixed

- Tuna

I brought around £20.00 of 'liquid' cat food pouches/3 at £1.00 each = 60 x cat food pouches in all.

9:30 PM VISITED THE GREEN GROCERS TO BUY CAT FOOD

As I was coming back up the road...with 3 different bags of cat food; I decided to pop into my local Green Grocery shop...to buy some more cat food; this time cat food pellets.

I brought 2 different flavours of Cat food pellets...

- Chicken/5 x boxes each at £1.19

- Tuna/5 x boxes each at £1.19

In total, I brought 10 boxes of dry cat food pellets.

CONCLUSION

I think, the cat should have enough food to last her, at least, a month long, now.

I feed her 2 x 'liquid cat food pouches' per day: 6 AM & 6 PM/30 x days in a month on average: 30 x 2 = 60 cat food pouches.

Plus, I give her 'dry cat food pellets' to eat: 24 hours...; usually, this amounts to her eating 2 boxes per week. So, 10 boxes of dry pellet food...should last around 2 months.

Anyway, I'm hoping it will last through November/December 2020...; up until when next year January 2021 arrives; which is when I might have to buy her some more cat food, then.

-(NOTE: I intend to buy £9.99 worth of cat food pouches from Iceland; there are 40 x liquid cat food pouches in a large box pack.)-

Saturday 21 November 2020

Sat 211120 Brought SuperPizza/18 inches/Seafood flavour/£8.00

9:30 PM BROUGHT SUPER PIZZA: SEAFOOD FLAVOUR: £8.00

Eyes heavy from doing too much continual 'staring' at the computer screen. Went to sleep; woke up evening around 8 PM.

Rode my bike down the road, Norwood High Street, SuperPizza; brought Seafood flavour/super size 18 inch pizza for a cost of £8.00/(paid using a single £10.00 note).

Thursday 19 November 2020

Fri 201120 Re-joined Plex/Brought Domestika course: Architectural sketching/Jogged around the block

00:05 AM RE-JOINED PLEX USING AMAZON FIRE STICK

I was using Amazon Fire Stick remote...to do some channels surfing...one of the channels that came up was NetFlix...but, I didn't want to 'pay' for that service. So, instead, I decided to try something else...and, what came up was, Plex.

When I hit the join button...it asked me for my email/password combination; but, when I typed in my email...it said that a/c. is already taken...which meant I must have joined them before. So, I typed in my password guess, and, it worked; then, I was given a code to type in...after visiting their web site...

http://plex.tv/link

...the site gave me a code; and, once, I had typed in the code into the browser...and, then, returned back to view the TV...it said my a/c. is now joined to the Plex service...I could even see my photograph appear next to my a/c. name...meaning, now, I can download Plex videos for FREE.

Some of the stuff I tried downloading, though, was really pretty poor viewing...most of it American; however, after having said that...so far to date, I did not try every thing relating to he Plex service...so, I'm sure, I will find useful things to watch there, maybe, later on; plus, it also said you can view your own media on there, too...not quite sure how to set that up/or, if set up is, possibly, automatic?

Thu 191120 Missed Halfords FREE bike/Re-newed Skillshare yearly subs./Ordered SuperPizza

2 PM MISSED HALFORDS FREE BIKE CHECK

Most unfortunately, I awoke 'late' at around 3 PM; when I suddenly realised what I had missed...because, i was meant to take my bike off to Brixton Halfords for a FREE bike check at 2 PM! Will have to order a FREE bike check another time/day.

-----

NOTE: This is around the 3rd or 4th time in a row...when I've ordered FREE bike check ups from Brixton Halfords and totally missed the appointment. I think, I might have to select a different appointment time...such as 3 PM/or, 4 PM/or, even later still.

6 PM (approx.) RE-NEWED SKILLSHARE YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION $99.00

When I tried signing into my Skillshare online a/c.; I was surprised to see it mention that they had tried taking a yearly subscription from my bank a/c; but, the pament had 'failed'...most probably, because there wasn't sufficient funds available; therefore, I was asked to 'update' my card details; which I did...giving them a Cashplus (loan a/c.) number instead; and, this payment method seems to have been accepted; which, in turn, means my Skillshare subscription can continue for yet another year; however, I still have to pay the now much increased Cashplus loan off.

9 PM ORDERED SUPERPIZZA 18 INCHES VEGETARIAN HOT £8.00

At around 9 PM, I decided the time is getting really 'late'...as soon the Pizza shop will be closed...they close at 10:30 PM. So, if I wish to get a pizza I better leave home, right now.

Normally, I would have ordered the pizza over the phone; however, then, it would have cost me £11.99. But, I discovered if you walk into the shop...and, order it from them direct...then, you only have to pay £8.00, instead.

So, I decided to walk down the road; and, then, order a SuperPizza of 18 inches 'Vegetarian Hot' ;' at first, I paid using my bank a/c. debit card; however, the response was 'declined'; so, instead, I paid 'cash'...one £5.00 note; together with 1 x £2.00 coin/and, a £1.00 coin.

I walked back home to 'wait' for the thing to be made; then, walked back down the road to go and collect it.

I finished half of the pizza all in one single sitting; and, then, finished the rest of the pizza when I awoke which was 2:30 AM next morning.

-----

NOTE: It has to be said...that having an £8.00 'pizza' is a total luxury on my part...in that if I went and brought pizza from Iceland; then, the price is just £1.00. Furthermore, in addition to this, I have more than enough food at home...including rice/potatoes/soups...which I've been just too damn 'lazy' to go and make; this is why my stomach hardly ever feels, really and truly, full; but, instead, feels empty. However, when I order pizza...especially, SuperPizza 18 inches size...my stomach, usually, feels full; but, it's certainly not something I would wish to do every single day...much too costly; also, too much pizza -(or, junk food)- starts to make you feel 'sick' inside, after a while -(it just tastes not entirely 'fresh'; but, a little bit strange?!)- but, once a week/fortnight/month works fine with me.

Tuesday 17 November 2020

Wed 181120 Paid Thames Water £6.80/Brixton Halfords (booked FREE bike check up on Thu 2PM)

04:30 AM PAID THAMES WATER £6.80

Normally, I pay Thames Water each month: £35.80; and, I do recall having already made a pre-payment of £29.00; which meant there was £6.80 still remaining due to be paid.

After signing into my Thames Water online a/c.; and, seeing the balance amount still due...I went and paid £6.80, immediately, using my bank debit card.

The balance remaining due for this month is, now, £0.00; meaning, I don't need to worry about having to make any further payments not until the middle of when next month comes along.

05:07 AM BOOKED A FREE BIKE CHECK UP AT HALFORDS (BRIXTON)

I booked an online FREE bike check up at Halfords (Brixton branch) at...

Mon 161120 FREE Food bag delivery - Phoned: Anne/Sharon - Joined: demo.timebanking.org

2 - 6 PM FREE FOOD BAG DELIVERY

I remember I was wide awake during the evening...in the kitchen cooking eggs/-etc.

There was a slight sound at the door...; but, I really didn't know if it was knock on the door/or, somebody's car door/boot closing...; anyway, I decided to ignore it...and, just continue cooking.

When I, later on went downstairs...I found that the charity: Paxton Green Time Bank had delivered to me another food bag; but, of course, there was nobody there to thank for the delivery. (I'm going to have to give them a phone call/or, something.)

I JOINED TIMEBANKING.ORG DEMO SITE...?!

Without thinking too hard about it, I went and joined a demo timebanking.org site...

https://demo.timebanking.org/

...looking back, now; I'm not too sure it was a good idea to join them...as the prefix does, indeed, say: 'demo.'; meaning, I don't even know if this site is legitimate or not?!

8 - 9 PM PHONED ANNE/NO REPLY/LEFT ANSWERPHONE MESSAGE

A few days back, Anne gave me a phone call...I was meant to reply back, immediately, straight away; but, instead, let myself get 'distracted'...as is usual.

This evening, -(while in the process of creating for myself a [phonebook.html] web page using JQuery)- I decided to give her a call back; most unfortunately, there was no reply(busy, I guess?); so, I left her an answerphone message stating that I will right her back, either tomorrow/or else, during the weekend.

9:30 PM  PHONED SHARON

At around 9 PM - 10 PM I phoned Sharon; we had a long talk...I got to speak with the children/and, also, very briefly indeed to her husband; apparently, the youngest boy is still playing up(as is usual).

Anyway, I said to them, I might try and visit during the weekend; not possible...due to 'lockdown'/Choronavirus; but, they said it might be possible to go over there to spend Christmas day, instead; to confirm this...I told them I would call much closer to the time.

Tue 101120 Paid TV Licence in full/Part paid Cashplus

PAID TV LICENCE IN FULL

I believe the TV Licence costs £154.40 yearly, now-a-days. Previously, I had paid them £50.00; and, then, today, this morning I went and paid them a further £105.00 (3 separate payments: £25+£25+£55); so, in all I paid £155.00 so far to date.

PART PAID CASHPLUS

I currently owe for a Cashplus loan of £228.xx; I paid them £25.00; so, hopefully, that should leave me with a current balance owing of £203.xx; however, if they add on monthly interest charges...which will, usually, be around £20.xx; therefore, my balance really wouldn't have changed much.

GAMBLED AT WILLIAM HILL: LOST £50.00

https://sports.williamhill.com

I went to William Hill...thinking I might be able to win some money playing Roulette.

At first, I bet £9.00...3 x £3.00 (30 numbers: 1-30 @ x 10p); which lost: Number 36 came up.

Then, I started chasing after my losses...; by depositing another £10.00/£11.00 balance. Again, I bet £9.00; and, I think, it won either once or twice...but, then, I lost it all on the next bet...£2.00 balance left. With the £2.00 balance I made 2 x row bets of £1.00; it won...thus, leaving me with £3.00 balance.

Finally, I decided why not go 'all in'...by emptying my bank a/c. of £30.00. I made 1 x £30.00 bet...(30 numbers: 1-30 @ £1.00 each); the first 2 spins won...and, my balance said £45.00; meaning, I was just £5.00 away from recovering back my previous £20.00 loss. However, on the third spin of the wheel I lost £30.00...£15.00 balance left. I continued spinning the wheel...this time betting £15.00...(30 numbers: 1-30 @ .50p each)...which was all of the balance I had left; and, it lost; thus, leaving me with absolutely nil balance; and, thus, forcing me to quit!

CONCLUSION

How do I feel, right now? Pretty damned stupid, and, also, very deeply ashamed(I wasted my mum's money); too, seriously, sad and sorry for myself.

Gotta 'stop' gambling.

If the lesson learned teaches me to stop...for say a week/a month/-etc.; then, all well and good.

On the other hand, if there is no lesson learned...; and, I just continue gambling like say, tomorrow...; then, that's no good at all, I'm afraid; maybe, I'll have to consider contacting Gamblers Anonymous, instead(whether online/offline).

FREE FOOD BAG DELIVERED

They delivered to me a FREE food bag...marked Tesco's.

Unfortunately, I was fast asleep...so, I wasn't available to open the door to them.

I also received a phone call; most probably, a reminder to say they left some shopping at the door; I might need to phone them back in order to make sure they know I got the delivery ok. This is the 2nd week when I didn't answer the door to them.

GAMBLED AT WILLIAM HILL ROULETTE, WON

https://www.williamhill.com

My balance from yesterday said: £10.00.

I decided to have a go at playing William Hill Roulette, again; this time I made 3 Roulette bets @ £3 each (30 numbers: 1-30 @ 10p) all 3 bets won a total of: £1.80 returns; then, I decided to withdraw: £5.00; this leaves me with a remaining balance of: £6.80.

I continued playing roulette at William Hill; and, won...-(I did loose, once; then, decided to 'double' my bets: £3.00 to £6.00 in order to recover back my losses of minus £3.00)- eventually, my total said: £10.30.

Next, I went and 'tripled' up making a £9.00 bet...which won; my balance currently says: £12.10p.

Finally, I decided to risk the whole lot by 'quadrupling' my bet to become a £12.00 bet; it won...my balance now says: £16.90.

I decided to withdraw the whole £16.90...before I went and lost it 'all'...; thus, leaving my with nil balance left inside of my William Hill online gambling a/c.

-----

Quite naturally, I was very sorely 'tempted' to go and gamble some more...by doing a £15.00 bet; but, on my mind, was the thought of what if...it lost? Then, I decided to let my better judgement win...and, just not take the risk; instead, withdraw the whole damn lot. So, today, I made 2 withdrawals...£5.00 + £16.90 = £21.90.

-----

-(NOTE: I am fully 'aware'...through having had countless bad gambling experiences in the past; that 'winning' can be very highly addictive; so what almost invariably tends to happens is...you win £1.00/£5.00 there/and, then, followed by another £10.00...and, next, find you are getting really quite self-confident about betting for increasingly higher and higher stakes...; and, that's when you put £100.00 on...and, find it looses; the which loss...not only wipes out 'all' of your previous winnings...but, actually means you lost far more than you ever did truly win. So, I've learned not to put too much trust in winning at gambling...which can be a really 'big' mistake...HUGE!)

8 AM - AWOKE TO EXPERIENCE A SERIOUS 'STOMACH UPSET'...EAT TOO MUCH CURRY...NOT PROPERLY DIGESTED

I actually woke up with a 'stomach upset'; yesterday, night...I had heated up 2 curries both brought from Iceland...

1 x Chicken Curry, £1.00

1 x Beef Curry, £1.00

I don't think I heated them up inside of the Microwave, properly; even, though, I'm pretty sure I heated them up, twice...after taking them directly from out of the small kitchen fridge.

Or, it may also have been that I didn't allow my digestive system to work, properly; meaning I ate, and, then, immediately, went off to bed. You are meant to stand up/walk around/or, at least, sit up in bed in  order to digest food well; instead, I stayed in bed whilst lying down flat; then, actually, fell asleep.

What awoke me was a dreadful 'burning' sensation inside of my gut...that told me I need to get down to the toilet fast...in order to expel the food out of my gut.

Afterwards, I went back to sleep.

6 PM AWOKE MADE MYSELF SOME CUSTARD AND CHERRY TART

When I next awoke I felt a lot better than before...; certainly, didn't need to rush straight back down to the toilet, again; but, not exactly 100%, neither. The bad curry feeling still remaining inside of my stomach.

I decided to test out just how well my stomach could cope...by making myself some custard/and, cherry tart...both brought from CoOp.

Unfortunately, the kitchen tin cutter seems to be missing; and, therefore, I had to use the hole punch from the fridge...which made the tin much harder to cut; but, eventually, after making around 4 holes in the top of the tin...I got the custard to drain out into the pot fairly smoothly.

When the custard was hot...I carefully divide the cherry tart into 2 half's; then, using just 1 half...leaving the other half in the fridge to eat later; I divided the one half to be eaten into 4 separate parts...and, served it all in my usual metal dish bowl. It was quite lovely to eat; and, more to the point, my stomach still held firm...so, I didn't feel any urgent need to access the toilet.

SUBSCRIBER TO REGULAR GRAZE FOOD BOX DELIVERIES

Made myself a drink...using a Graze teabag. -(Had to go scour the kitchen kettle out...which was full of hard water flakes; but, now, is 'clean', again.)- Recently, Graze had delivered to me a small box of food; sweets/peanuts/cake/-etc.; which I did thoroughly enjoy eating. I placed my next regularly Graze food box on hold for 2 months time.

Thu 051120 Shopped Brixton/West Norwood/Gambled at William Hill: Roulette/Won £3.00

2 PM WENT BRIXTON

I had to get down to Brixton to get some cash; it was important that I arrived there before 3 PM.

3 PM SHOPPED BRIXTON

I was looking for the 'pound store' opposite Gresham Road Police Station; when I discovered it appears there is a new shop there, now...selling homewares.

I went inside and brought around £65.xx worth of shopping.

I brought...

- 1 x toilet brush

- 1 x door alarm bell/with 2 ringers

- 1 x glass plate dish

- 1 x metal plate dish

- 1 x wooden chopping board

- 1 x sink stopper

- 2 x large plastic bags

- 1 x bathroom scales

-etc. (...can't remember the rest?!)

4:45 PM CYCLED THROUGH BROCKWELL PARK

I cycled my bike though Brockwell Park...had to cycle along very carefully...as both of the plastic shopping bags I had were really thin; and, they were constantly bouncing up against the bike wheels...wearing them down even thinner.

I had no back up bags inside of my coat pockets to carry stuff if the plastic bags got torn. So, for me, this was a great worry all the way home.

4 PM BROUGHT SOME GROCERIES IN WEST NORWOOD

I brought some shopping at the grocery shop opposite Self-Storage.

2 x bowls of apples

1 x bowl of bananna's

1 x set of 3 plantains

...gave the young girl a £10.00 note; she returned back some change(forget exactly how much).

.4:10 PM BROUGHT SOME KITCHEN SCOURERS

I went across the road from West Norwood CoOp; and, brought...

2 x sets of 4 per packet iron kitchen scourers

4:20 PM BROUGHT SOME JAMAICAN FOOD

I stopped at the Jamaican food store opposite West Norwood post office to buy...

1 x beef Patty

After I came out of the patty shop...and, was cycling off home...I, immediately, realised that the two plastic shopping bags I had were starting to develop 'holes'. I need to replace them both, and, fast...otherwise, the shopping would fall out all over the street.

4:35 PM WENT COOP TO BUY 2 PLASTIC BAGS

I cycled by bike back down to CoOp...where I used my CoOp 'rewards' card to buy 2 shopping bags.

Went outside the shop...where I placed the 2 torn bags...into the 2 new plastic bags from CoOp; then, continued cycling off home.

During the cycling home...one of the CoOp bag handles got torn...leaving me with just one handle to continue carrying the shopping in. Luckily, however, I did manage to arrive home...with out suffering any further shopping bag incidents.

7:30 PM GAMBLED AT WILLIAM HILL: ROULETTE/WON: £3.00

https://www.williamhill.com

I decided to go online, and, do some Roulette gambling at William Hill. My balance said: £5.xx; and, I deposited a further £10.00; so, in all my balance said: £15.xx.

I did my standard total bet of £3.00 at a time...betting on numbers: 1-30 to win @ 10p each single bet. I think, I made 4 or 5 bets, altogether...all of which won...thus, in all I won around 3.00.

Next, I made a withdrawal of £8.70...; leaving a balance of £10.00 in my William Hill a/c. to go and play with, after.

I also made a deposit of £10.00 into my William Hill Poker a/c...leaving me with a balance of £10.08p.

8 PM MADE DINNER

I made myself some dinner...

1 x Egg Fried rice from West Norwood Iceland £1.00 (kept stored in the small fridge/heated up using the Microwave)

I also cooked...

2 x eggs

1 x diced tomatoe

1 x diced 1/4 onion

...heated it all up; then, combined everything together. Tasted ok; nothing quite like mum's/aunt's own cooking; but, still not too bad.
