Fri 30 Aug 2019 Netlify: publish local web site folders.

05:13 AM GMT LEARNED HOW TO DEPLOY A LOCAL FOLDER SITE USING NETLIFY/(WITHOUT NEEDING TO USE GITHUB)

I was watching a YouTube video...which showed one how it's possible to deploy a web site which is stored inside of  a folder on your local computer...by using the FREE Netlify online service.

http://www.netlify.com

Quite simply, 'drag and drop' the folder onto the Netlify user interface...and, that's it, your site within seconds...is all of a sudden fully up and working having been published on the internet...also, you are given a unique URL address to use/or, share with others.

It is also possible to just as easily 'delete' the site you've gone and uploaded.

Click button: [Site settings] > Danger Zone > Delete this site > type in the site URL name, and, confirm by hitting [Delete] button.

NOTE: It is also possible to change the site name if you wish...go [Site settings] > Change name > Type in the new site name.

That is pretty damned remarkable for an entirely FREE service. It also means I can create my own Netlify web site...as being called:

...and, I can have as many 'static' pages as I please. This site still needs to be hugely expanded on, in future.

I'm also thinking to myself what other FREE services can Netlify offer me, I wonder...?
