Sun 031119 Indian Take Away: 2 x Roti: £1.75/British Gas PAYG Electricity meter top up: £8.00/Shopped: CoOp: £12.83

8 AM MORNING: MADE HEALTHY FOOD/SALADS

I decided to go and make some healthy food to eat...instead, of the usual: salt crisps/chocolate biscuits/ice cream/-etc. I made...

2 x boiled eggs (gave one to my mum/eat the other myself)

2 x eggs...to make egg omelette, ingredients: eggs/cheese/tomato/onions/salt/pepper (which I eat myself with 2 slices of brown bread and butter)

1 x pack of carrots (I used the 'high speed' mixer to dice it with; then, placed the ingredients into some small square Tupperware bowl; my mum eat some/the rest of which I eat myself)

1 x pack of Mango juice (which I took from out of the fridge; the carton was actually opened up a few days ago...so, fearing that it might at some point get 'stale'/become inedible...I decided to use it, immediately, right away)

Having to prepare food for yourself...takes a fair amount of effort...having to prepare cooking/cutting utensils...then, wash/peel food...then, get bowls to store things in...then

DAY: SLEPT

Most of the rest of the day, I spent sleeping in bed. Woke up, afternoon.

My real intention to go down the road was to go and buy my mum some chips; because she had requested it.

However, when I went down the road...I found that the usual chip shop I tend to buy from was already closed.

Thus, I decided to change what was my original plan...; and, go and buy something else, instead.

8 PM EVENING: WEST NORWOOD INDIAN TAKE AWAY

I ordered...

2 x Roti bread costing £1.75.

I couldn't make up my mind about what other food to buy; as it's all Indian names on the menu...none of which I'm too familiar with...?! So, I just didn't bother buying any further food at all.

I told them I would go off and do some shopping; and, then, come back to collect, afterwards.

When I did go and collect after having done the rest of my shopping; and, then, returned home. I gave some of the Roti bread to my mum(she only wanted a small piece); and, ate the rest myself.

8:10 PM BROUGHT £8.00 WORTH OF ELECTRICITY TO PUT ON A PAYG KEY/AND, STILL NO LIGHT...?! £15.xx OWING AS METER 'STANDING CHARGE' DEBT

It's been a long time since we last saw 'light' downstairs; because I had decided to use that money, instead, to go and buy other things; and, as a replacement for the downstairs lighting...I simply used a torch.

Anyway, I had gotten pretty tired of having to go use a torch; as many times, I can't find where it is.../or else, the batteries need replacing; and, so on; sometimes, the torch accidentally falls...and, then, I wonder if it's broke...will I have to go and 'buy' another...?! Etc.

So, I went and brought £8.00 worth of electricity to put on the Pay As You Go key.

However, when I came back home...much to my surprise...when I put the key into the gas key meter...there was no light; instead, the meter said...I still owed them £15.xx in outstanding debt!

One has to remember...because British Gas charges a regular monthly standing charge for gas meter usage...therefore, -even if you're not actually using the gas- over time this standing charge fee does gradually build up and up.

Basically, what this all means is...I will have to pay British Gas, at least, £15 to £16...before I can get to use the Electric meter ,again.

8 PM WEST NORWOOD CO-OP SUPERMARKET

I decided to do some shopping inside of my local CoOp supermarket. I brought...

2 x bunches of banana's
1 x Tuna spread
1 x Egg Mayonnaise spread
4 x  round bread rolls
2 x cucumbers
1 x custard
1 x Apple pie
1 x packet of choc ices
1 x packet of chocolate cream eclairs
1 x carton of Alpro Soya
2 x Whiskers cat food(dry treats)

Total: £12.83 (I paid £10.00 cash/and, £2.83 I paid using bank debit card)

-(NOTE: Much to my surprise, both Aldi/and, Iceland supermarkets were both closed on Sunday; which is really weird...as it means, the CoOp supermarket which still remains open...makes all it's profit without any other competition.)-
