Wed 161019 eBay: 1x250 GB portable HDD/Bet: lost £9/BH/Tate Britain/BH survey/Iceland

07:58 AM EBAY ORDER: 250 GB PORTABLE HDD

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-250GB-External-Portable-2-5-USB-Hard-Drive-HDD-With-Warranty-Black/330470222782?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

I ordered from off eBay a 250 GB portable HDD/Hard Disk Drive. Cost: £13.99.

I can store on there such things as photos/-etc.

There are two ways that data can be stored...

1> Online...where you usually have to 'pay' when the data has reached a certain specific limit. Another downside being that because your data is accessible from literally anywhere on the planet; therefore, it's also open to being broken into, and, stolen by thieves/computer hackers/as well as, the site owner authorities themselves.

2> Offline...where your data is kept strictly 'private'...and, no one can access it excepting you, alone; the downside is you have to, quite literally, carry that data around...because, otherwise, you will not be able to access it from at a long distance(unless, you leave your computer open on the net for hacking into). The good side about this particular type of HDD is it's fairly small...enough to be able to store inside of your own coat pocket; and, because it uses a USB cable to connect to the computer...you can carry it along, and, use it on any other computer.

08:37 AM GAMBLED AT WILLIAM HILL: LOST £9.00

I bet on Roulette at William Hill; and, instantly, lost £9.00 (which was the balance I'd won left over from yesterday).

9 AM WENT STOCKWELL/BECKETT HOUSE

Picked up letters.

9:30 AM VISITED TATE BRITAIN GALLERY/DREW

I visited Tate Britain...but, was 1/2 an hour early.

9:40 AM ST MARTIN'S COLLEGE/SHOPPED

Walked across the road to go and visit St Martin's College art shop. In there I brought...

-> 10 x newsprint papers A3 @ 10p each
-> Multiple A6 'blank sheet' drawing books...I forgot what was the exact price...but, everything came to around £3.50
-> 2 x A4 size white paper Sketchbooks - One 'landscape' format/the other 'portrait' format, instead.

10:10 AM WALKED BACK ACROSS THE ROAD INTO TATE BRITAIN GALLERY

This time when I visited Tate Britain, the gallery was already open.

The first thing I did was to go inside of the drawing room...and, there execute doing some drawings...on the FREE paper/with pencils + easels provided; I drew the sculpture: 'Athelete wrestling with a Python', as usual.

My initial thoughts was to leave the drawings there...; however, later on, during the day...when leaving to go back home...I found nobody had taken the drawings for themselves...; so, I thought might as well take it home and keep it myself.

I visited 2 'paying' exhibitions...

1> William Blake (downstairs)...I visited all of the rooms...and, tried to view every single drawing/painting.

2> Sorry, I forgot the name...(upstairs)...but, it was a modern film show type of exhibition. I didn't stay in there long, though...just stayed for around 5 minutes...after which I felt 'bored'; then, left.

I also went and visited other Tate Britain rooms...looking at the art...I recall looking at the 'abstract work of: Gillian Ayres/and, another room showed off the abstract work of a guy...forgot his name?

I looked inside of Tate bookshop downstairs...and, saw prints by William Blake...both framed/and, unframed. I also went and brought inside there a multi-coloured pencil costing £1.50.

Just before leaving Tate Britain Gallery...I went upstairs to go and visit the Member rooms. I sat down looking at an art book concerning the works of Russian artist: Natalia Goncharova. (Unfortunately, I missed seeing her exhibition at the Tate Modern; wanted to see what I might have missed.)

I was 'aware' that my mum hasn't been keeping too well; therefore, I made it a strict point to leave Tate Gallery early as opposed to late; normally, I would stay there straight up until when closing time comes along; however, today, I left somewhere around 2 to 3 PM.

3:30 PM STOPPED AT VAN GOGH WALK

I wanted to check out seeing if there were any FREE books I can collect...at the 'book exchange' located on Van Gogh Walk.

I did bring home a small photo book...; but, nothing worthy of note.

When I arrived back home, again; the time was 4 PM.

4:40 PM MADE PHONE CALL TO BECKETT HOUSE SUVEYORS

One of the letters I collected from Beckett House...said I should make them a phone call...due to previously missing 2 unscheduled appointments...; I phoned them...but, the receptionist I spoke to...took down my phone number/and, said they will call me back.

9 PM WENT ICELAND TO DO SOME SHOPPING

In West Norwood Icenand superstore I brought...

1 x 6 pack of tin can Tango £1.50
10 x toffee apples 0.65p each = £6.50
1 x chocolate apple  0.65p
1 x Chichen Thighs £2.00
1 x Potatoe Salad £1.00
1 x Cheese Coleslaw 0.89
3 x packs of 6 ice cream cones/different flavours: Strawberry/Mint/Chocolate £1.00 each = £3.00

Total: £15.54

CONCLUSION

And, now, my current a/c. is totally flat 'broke'...with, maybe, a couple of pounds left/if not just merely some pence.
