WOKE UP TO WITNESS SEEING AN EXTRAORDINARILY BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL DAY...MAKING ME WANT TO GO OUT.../RECEIVED AN UNEXPECTED PHONE CALL...MILLICENT COMING TO VISIT IN 1 & 1/2 HOURS TIME
My original intention was to go and visit seeing Tate Britain Gallery...both in order to see their 'latest' Whistler exhibition.../and, also, in order to practice doing some drawing there...; because it was an extraordinarily beautiful and bright day...; my mood was extremely energetic...as the sunshine tends to leave me feeling greatly enlivened; namely, I actually couldn't wait to get outside.
However, what actually happened was...
I received a phone call from Millicent...to say that she was coming over to visit me within one and a half hours time. To which I agreed...
I started to prepare both myself/and, the house to receive her...both getting dressed/cleaning up the place/-etc.

VISITED EMMAEUS/BROUGHT A 'CHEAP' MILLET PRINT COSTING £3.00
I decided to very quickly go down the road to place inside of the communal bin...some leaves...I swept up from the front part of the house/and, also, empty a plastic bag filled with some overdue food(don't like the smell of food that's gone off to remain inside of the house).
At the same time, I thought to myself...now, that I'm already half way down the road...and, Ive got my bike with me...why not go and visit seeing Emmaeus...which is just another half-way down the road.
Inside of Emmaeus I discovered seeing one of my 'amateur' drawings on sale there -(copied The Kiss ornament)- going for, £4.00; that was a really big surprise to me...as, normally, I don't tend to see that.
I give them drawings...but, then, never ever see it, again...always wondering to myself...what did they did with it...throw it away, maybe...through just not being good enough to go put up for sale...?!
I did buy a Millet print from Emmaeus costing just £3.00.

MILLICENT AND TREVOR VISITED...BRINGING ME BOTH FOOD/MONEY: A £20.00 NOTE
When they did, eventually, arrive...they gave me 2 bags of shopping/food; together with a £20.00 note...for which I thanked them.
They didn't really enter into the property; but, instead, stayed at the door.
I noted that Millicent's hair...was turning all 'white'; otherwise, she looked ok...slim, happy.
The 2 bags of food they gave me included...
- Microwave food you heat up...6 of these.
- 1 x whole sized chicken.
- 4 tubs of mixed fruit.
- etc.
-----
I gave her in return 2 x framed self-portraits I had drawn. One to give to her son, Chris; and, the other to keep for herself.
Frankly, I really don't know what they are going to do with the pair of self-portraits...; but, that's ok...at least, it went to family; and, not to strangers...usually, I give stuff away to the local charity shop Emmaeus.
I also gave them 2 x drawings pads to go practice doing some drawing on...; to which she replied she would give it to her grand children.

WHAT I DID WITH MILLICENT AND TREVOR'S £20.00 NOTE
I went down the road to the post office...where I brought £10.00 worth of Electric...to go on the PAYG meter key. (There was no lighting left downstairs...as the PAYG meter had run out.)
I deposited £10.00 into my bank a/c. (as there was only £2.00 left/didn't want the a/c. to be overdrawn).

SAW MY NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOUR, KEN...; GAVE HIM A GIFT OF A WHOLESALE QUADCOPTER TOY
Later on, during the evening...returning back from the post office visit...I saw my nextdoor neighbour, Ken; and, I gave him one of the wholesale remote control 'quadcopter' toys I had brought.
He was on a phone call...so, I didn't stop to talk to him much...; just explained I had brought many...; and, it was too much...so, I was giving some away; then, very quickly, left.
-----
CONCLUSION
Originally, my aim was to go out...; but, instead, I 'stayed in'...; mainly, because I'd eaten so much...a full size chicken...which I repeatedly heated up inside of the Microwave oven.
I even gave some left over bits of it to go feed the cat. One of the last things I did that night...was to let the cat out into the back garden; and, then, let her back in, again, during next morning.
