170414 Roseberys super large painting sold for £100/received £49.xx!

8:30 AM I awoke, first, thing I did was get my mum a FREE Metro newspaper from down at West Norwood train station.

10 AM - VISITED TIME BANK, COLLECTED BOOKS/JOINED WALK TO NORWOOD PARK

I phoned up PGTB/Paxton Green Time Bank -(local voluntary group); and, requested that I was coming to pick up some art books I borrowed them on Monday. Nicole, the receptionist, agreed that I could come along and pick everything up; which I did. Collected 2 x Origami books + 2 books on The Impressionists. -(Actually, I forgot to collect The Great Masters book; will have to get it, next time.)-

10:30 AM - Later on during the morning, I decided to go join a TimeBank Walk to West Norwood train station. We were accompanied by 2 guides: a man/woman; and, the rest of the group consisted of adults: mostly, women and children. We visited Norwood Park open air gym; then, we came straight back to Kingswood House Library from where we started; though, we didn't actually go in as they were having a Draw Day Event. Instead, we stopped off at Ketra Halls, which is located just around the corner. In there I took the opportunity to show the kids some Origami; and, also, the female guide wanted to learn...so I showed her: paper hat/bookmark/box(and, some other shapes from the paper hat base).

2 PM - WENT TO TOOTING IXION WORK TRAINING TO DO JOB SEARCH

I cycled over to Tooting, Ixion, -(Part of Trident Business Centre)- Bickersteth Road, going down Church Lane.

When I got there I signed in; and, told the supervisor, Kevin, that I have to sign on at Streatham Job Centre at 2:45. He said I don't need to do any job search; just go and sign on, instead.

I went off to Streatham Job Centre, and, signed on. Next, I returned back to Ixion in Tooting to complete a form where I filled in having done 2 job searches. The supervisor, Kevin, said I didn't have to return; but, I just answered that I wanted to; as I wanted to show proof that I'd done some job search/as opposed to none.

4 PM SOLD SUPER LARGE PAINTING AT ROSEBERY'S AUCTION HOUSE

Yesterday, Thursday 17th April 2014, I received a letter from Rosebery's auction house, informing me that a super large painting had sold for £100.00. Though, after all of the charges were taken out, they sent me a final check for just £49.xx; which I immediately went and deposited inside of my bank a/c.

5 PM RETURNED BACK TO KINGSWOOD HOUSE LIBARY FOR 'DRAW DAY'

Later on, during the evening, I decided to make one more trip out; and, that was to go and see 'Draw Day' at Kingswood House Library.

When I got there I realized it was mostly a kids event; as opposed to being for adults; thus, I walked around for a bit; and, then, very quickly left.

Oh yes, I remember seeing Julie from Art4Space. She was there with her children doing some drawing. She told me Art4Space would be opening, again; and, she would send me an email; their location remains the same off Jeffery's Road, McCall Close in Stockwell.

WAS THINKING ABOUT VISITING THE CINEMA - BUT, CHANGED MY MIND

I was thinking about going off to visit the Cinema; as I am paying a regular subscription fee...but, haven't been going there at at all; which amounts to being a waste of money! Especially, as I now have Amazon Prime membership which allows me to watch videos at home...including martial arts/-etc. However, when I'm either feeling too tired; am otherwise distracted; or, the time is far too late; then, I don't tend to go.
