- CONCLUSION: FIRST DAY OF USING MY 60+ FREE TRAVEL PHOTOCARD
------------------------------------------------
11:45 AWOKE: RECEIVED MY 60+ FREE BUS TRAVEL PHOTOCARD
Well, as usual, first thing I did when I awoke was to go and check out the post...; because they said they would be sending me a FREE bus travel photocard within 5 days.
When I looked all along the floor...no, nothing. Then, when I looked upwards towards where the letter box is...there was just a single envelope...that was hanging through the letter box.
Before opening it, I 'felt' the envelope...in order to detect if there was any card in there...; and, sure enough there was.
Next, I hastily opened up the envelope...to see exactly what was inside...it could just be some other card that's been posted off to me...because one of my other cards might have run out...so, they might have sent me a replacement.
Sure enough, I received a FREE bus travel photocard. I could hardly even believe my own two eyes.
Thinking about all of the things that I'm going to do with it...???
-----
The only trouble is, I'm way older, now; and, therefore, have far less energy than when I was young. So, it's likely most of my journey's out will be 'short' rather than 'long'.
-----
-(Thinking to myself...I should have taken a far better photo...! Too 'late' to go change anything, now, though!)-
------------------------------------------------
- 12:56 THINKING SHOULD I GO AND GET MY BIKE FIXED AT BRIXTON HALFORDS OR NOT...? DIDN'T GO HALFORDS
Yesterday, I made an appointment to go and get my bike 'repaired' at Brixton Halfords.
However, things aren't quite as simple and straight forwards as it sounds...; the bike's back wheel refuses to turn...?! So, that means I have to 'drag' the bike going very slowly...all the way over to Halfords bike store...going through West Norwood, Tulse Hill, Herne Hill, Brixton...which is quite a few miles...3 whole miles, at least.
-(NOTE: It is very difficult, indeed, to 'drag' the bike by using the front wheel alone...as the front wheel isn't stable but turns; had it been drag by the back wheel...; then, things might have been so much easier.)-
So, I'm thinking to myself...I got my FREE bus travel pass; therefore, I don't need to 'pay' anything to get the bike fixed. I can leave that to another day, instead.
Today, just use the FREE bus pass; and, have fun seeing what sort of things I can do with it...I think, the letter mentioned...not just bus; but, including: tram, train, tube, -etc.
------------------------------------------------
- 16:00 WENT OUT TO GO AND USE MY NEW 60+ FREE BUS/TRAM/TRAIN/TUBE TRAVEL PASS
STREATHAM/ST LEONARD'S CHURCH
The first trip I did was take the bus from up the road...going down to Streatham; I recall I got off at St Leonard's Church...because I wanted desperately to take a 'leak'...so, I went to the back of the church...which is away from the main road where people can see me.
Only much to my surprise...I encountered quite a few, possibly, 'homeless' people sleeping behind the church; I remember seeing, at least, 3/4 of these.
The first one I encountered was a woman...; and, she started cursing at me...who are you/what do you want/go away...and, so on. I didn't bother saying anything at all to here back in return.. Instead, I just tried to find a different place to go take a leak. Then, I came across one guy sleeping on the ground/and, another.
BALHAM/TRAIN STATION
The next time I used the pass was to travel on the bus towards Balham.
I actually wanted to find out where is Balham Halfords bike branch? But, when I asked a guy right near Balham Station...he told me it was a 10 minutes walk down; and, frankly, I didn't too much fancy doing that.
So, instead, I just jumped on the train...; and, headed off towards West Croydon station.
WEST CROYDON/TRAMS
I got out of West Croydon station...to go and use the Tram. I'd never used a tram service before. It was interesting...; I mean, just a little bit different...from riding a bus...; but, honestly, not that much.
I got out at Whitgift Center in Croydon...using the underground fly way to cut across the busy street.
Actually, I recall going upstairs of Whitgift center to use their public toilet facilities.
Then, I came out of Whitgift Center...and, walked towards Croydon Boxing Gym...; -(I used to attend going there before; so, I already knew the way)-; I was glad to see the gym was still there in existence. But, it was only kids classes...during the early evening. Some kids were doing martial arts/others were doing boxing.
I asked the boxing trainer...how much is it to use the gym facilities...he told me £7.50 per session/or, £40.00 'unlimited' for the month.
At that point I left...knowing that, right now, I cannot afford that sort sum.
WENT BANSTEAD/MARKS AND SPENCER STOP
My cousins live in Kingswood; and, to go there I used to take the 166 bus from Croydon; then, get off at Banstead/Marks and Spencer bus stop....; then, walk the rest of the way...either along the highway.../or else, going through farmer's fields, instead.
I got off at Banstead/Marks & Spencer bus stop. Took some photos of some expensive cars: Ferrari/Posche/Bentley/-etc.; at an upmarket car sellers called, Romains. Then, walked along the highway for a while...; until I got to Burh Heath entrance. Walked along the famers fields...by following the straight path...until when I reached Furze Hill. Walked downwards towards Monica Road (I think, it's called)...which, eventually took me to Kingswood train station.
Went around the corner...of The Kingswood Arms pub...and, kept on going until I arrived at the farmer's fields.
Then, when up the hill to go and visit seeing my cousins.
They were, of course, surprised to see me arrive...as I hadn't been over that way in ages...not since last Christmas, in fact. I showed them I now have a 60+ FREE travel pass...; but, it only works in London.
THE RETURN JOURNEY HOME...SAW 2 GIRLS ON THE TRAIN EXPOSING THEMSELVES
KINGSWOOD TO PURLEY
I missed the 2nd train home before last...; and, got on the very last train to return home...I think, it left at 10:52 PM.
As I walked on the train...I saw two young girls...teenagers...exposing themselves. I don't know if they were drunk, possibly...?!
Anyway, I completely ignored them...and, just kept on walking until I reached the very end of the carriage...whist they remained being at the front.
FROM PURLEY I TOO BUS TO CROYDON/THEN, FROM CROYDON TOOK A NUMBER 468 BUS HOME BACK TO WEST NORWOOD
I'm not too familiar with Purley area...; but, I asked people questions...and, they directed me on how to get to the main road. I had to take an alley way...; then, a next. Finally, cross the road to get to the bus stop.
I took a 466 bus...to Croydon; and, then, switched to at number 468 in order to arrive back home in West Norwood.
When I did arrive in...the clock showed that it was 12:00 midnight on the dot.
------------------------------------------------
- CONCLUSION: FIRST DAY OF USING MY 60+ FREE TRAVEL PHOTOCARD
This was my very first day of using my 60+ FREE bus/tram/train/tube travel pass; and, at least, I did make use of it...as opposed to just, quite lamely, staying in.
Frankly, being out on the street when you are aged 60+...does tend to scare me quite a bit...like what if I run into a fight...?! Would I be able to fight back, successfully...when I'm really 'totally out of shape'. Well, there but for the grace of God go I...
It's certainly been enjoyable using the pass...; and, I'm more grateful than I have any words to say. However, I'm also aware that there are many dangers involved with using London transport...as, frankly, you never quite know exactly what might happen, next...?!
It's why I tended to prefer using a bike...to move around London town...; at least, you have your own 'private' space...and, no stranger comes to bother you. Plus, the bus drops you only up to a certain point...; but, the bike delivers you straight to the door.
-----
Another thing I'm deeply 'aware' of...is whereas before I used to stay in nights; because my mum got really scared when I went out at night...she wouldn't got off to sleep until when I had returned. So, to save her having to worry...I would just stay in at night.
However, now that she's passed on...(RIP)...I am able to stay out nights as much as I please. The only trouble being...as I'm no longer young, anymore...; therefore, I don't have the energy and strength as I used to when I was young...to want to run/walk going for miles and miles.
It's for that same reason why I came home...and, stayed in. Otherwise, if I still felt huge energy as when young...I would not have remained being inside of the house, anymore.

Thu 180523 SIGN ON/STREATHAM - ORDERED HALFORDS BIKE SERVICE CHECK
Thu 180523
-----------------------------------------
Table of contents:-
- 09:30 WOKE UP/FED CAT/LET HER OUT INTO THE BACK GARDEN
- 10:00 THINKING WHAT TO DO WITH THE REST OF THE DAY...???
- 13:00 IMPORTANT APPOINTMENT: SIGN ON/STREATHAM
- 13:30 DIDN'T GO AND VISIT TATE BRITAIN...BECAUSE, I FELT FAR TOO 'OUT OF SHAPE' TO BE ABLE TO WALK BOTH THERE/AND, BACK
- 14:00 PLAYED FREE BETS: WILLIAM HILL/LADBROKES
- 15:30 WALKED DOWN THE ROAD TO THE CORNER SHOP...TO BUY COOKIES COSTING: 0.75p
- 16:00 SERIOUSLY, MISSING NOT HAVING MY BIKE AVAILABLE TO USE, ANYMORE...WILL HAVE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH HALFORDS.COM...TO MAKE A BIKE SERVICE CALL
- CONCLUSION
-----------------------------------------
- 09:30 WOKE UP/FED CAT/LET HER OUT INTO THE BACK GARDEN
The first thing I did when I awoke is feed the cat. Gave her a 'new' tin of Whiskers cat food...pouring out 1/3rd...; saving the rest to feed her, later on.
I desperately need to go and buy some cat food pouches...; as I've completely run out, altogether....; the problem is having insufficient funds available...?!
-----------------------------------------
- 10:00 THINKING WHAT TO DO WITH THE REST OF THE DAY...???
I think, today, I might just go out and visit Tate Britain gallery. Only there is one big problem, namely, I have no money left on my Oyster travel card...; which means, I would have no other choice but to walk there; and, that's over 5+ miles long going through:
West Norwood, Streatham, Balham, Clapham, Vauxhall, Pimilico...; then, all the way back, again...; thus, making it a round 10 miles long trip!
Looking at it another way, if I think of it as a 'going out sketching' trip...; then, there will be loads to see/do. Plus, I can also choose to walk either 'fast/slow'...; so, there is no need to hurry.
The only other difficulties I can see is...
- Are my legs, really and truly, up to it...?
- Will the Achilles Tendonitis -(pain in the back of both foot heels)- start playing up a lot...?
- Also, am I likely to get severely 'dehydrated'...? Which is, usually, what happens when I go out for very long walks. (Will need to carry a back pack...with some food/drink inside there.)
At the same time, they say what doesn't kill you...; can make you stronger.
So, I'm thinking by attempting to walk miles...; maybe, my legs could actually strengthen more...; as well as, possibly, my stamina might improve. -Etc.
-----
-(When I was younger...I wouldn't even think twice about walking to Pimlico and back...; or, indeed, going out even further still...; back then...walking 10+ miles.../and, then, returning 10+ miles was fairly easy -providing I didn't become 'dehydrated'-; but, now-a-days, I find walking such long distances most incredibly 'tough'.)-
-----------------------------------------
- 13:00 IMPORTANT APPOINTMENT: SIGN ON/STREATHAM
Today, I know, I have to sign on at Streatham Job Centre at 1 AM.
Hopefully, I will not get there 'late' as is usual.
The time currently says 10:06 AM...; and, I'm far from having gotten anywhere near ready, yet...?!
Just another 2 & 1/2 hours to go...my aim is to leave home at 12:30; thus, giving me enough time to walk the mile over to Streatham in a, more or less, leisurely manner.
Normally, I leave it up to say 12:45...which is really pushing things a bit...as 15 minutes to walk/run a whole entire mile...I'm finding, now-a-days, at age 60+ is, indeed, rather difficult.
----
Well, as usual, I got there 'late'. ADD/Attention Deficit Disorder...wanting to do this/do that/do the other...; then, just decided to hell with it all...just leave it...and, go.
I actually left the house at around 12:55 PM...meaning, there was no way that I was going to make the 1 PM appointment on time.
However, my job advisor Richard was very understanding; for instance, he acknowledged I ran...as he could see me both heavily sweating/puffing.
I got signed on; then, left the job center office.
-----------------------------------------
- 13:30 DIDN'T GO AND VISIT TATE BRITAIN...BECAUSE, I FELT FAR TOO 'OUT OF SHAPE' TO BE ABLE TO WALK BOTH THERE/AND, BACK
As I came out of the job center; for a moment, I thought about going off and visiting seeing Tate Gallery...; but, as I was already sweating/huffing and puffing after walking/running just a mile; therefore, I didn't fancy going and walking 5 whole miles/then, having to come all the way back, again.
Instead, I just decided might as well return back home.
I didn't do any shopping...far too broke; just returned home.
-----------------------------------------
- 14:00 PLAYED FREE BETS: WILLIAM HILL/LADBROKES
I managed to win some pennies at William Hill through doing FREE bets; didn't win anything at Ladbrokes...apart from FREE spins which didn't win anything.
-----------------------------------------
- 15:30 WALKED DOWN THE ROAD TO THE CORNER SHOP...TO BUY COOKIES COSTING: 0.75p
Of late, I been making it a regular ritual of mine...to go off down the road...to go visit the corner shop...where I buy £0.75p worth of cookies...to go eat with tea.
I really need to stop doing that, though; as eating 1 x cookies biscuits per week is fine; but, every single day...is fast developing into being a really 'bad' habit.
-----------------------------------------
- 16:00 SERIOUSLY, MISSING NOT HAVING MY BIKE AVAILABLE TO USE, ANYMORE...WILL HAVE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH HALFORDS.COM...TO MAKE A BIKE SERVICE CALL
A lot of roads do have turnings which lead off of them...; so, if say one road has 10 side turnings...5 on one side/and, 5 on the other side.
Well, when I'm either 'walking/running'...then, I find it really difficult to be able to explore all of those side turnings...because it takes so much time and effort to 'walk/run' through these.
On the other hand, when I have a bike...I can explore seeing all 10 side turnings...with no problem at all; because it takes me just merely seconds...to ride down one turning...and, then, back up, again...; in order to go explore seeing a next.
Thus, it is that I am seriously missing not having my bike available to ride, anymore.
I will need to get in touch with Halfords.com...in order to book a 'bike service' appointment.
-----------------------------------------
- CONCLUSION
My mind keeps on telling me...do this/do that...; but, my body is, simply, saying no.
For example, yesterday, I went out...and, when funds on my Oyster bus travel pass ran out...I had to walk back home 5 miles.
However, today, I just didn't feel like walking 5 miles over to Tate Britain gallery/and, then, come back.
I think, I have to play things really carefully as I grow older. Listening to how I do currently feel...strong/or, weak? If strong...I go out. If weak...I stay in. Going out...especially, for 'leisure' purposes can wait until when a different day comes along; because, in that particular case, there is no real urgency at all.
I still can't 'wait' to receive my 60+ free bus travel pass...; because, then, I'm sure, I will go out travelling a whole lot more, instead.

Wed 170523 ATTENDED AUTISM CLASS/CLAPHAM COMMON - THINKING ABOUT DOING AN ARTS COURSE...
Wed 170523
------------------------------
Table of contents-
- 10:00 AM - 2 PM ATTENDED AUTISM GROUP CLASS/CLAPHAM COMMON (SELF-REFERRAL WAS ACCEPTED)
-14:30 ACTION SPACE/ART GROUP - CLAPHAM COMMON (APPLIED)
- 15:00 LAMBETH COLLEGE: CLAPHAM CENTER/THINKING OF TAKING AN ARTS BASED COURSE THERE
- CONCLUSION: OYSTER CARD MONEY RAN OUT, COMPLETELY; HAD TO DO A LOT OF WALKING IN ORDER TO RETURN: CLAPHAM/BALHAM/STREATHAM/WEST NORWOOD
------------------------------
- 10:00 AM - 2 PM ATTENDED AUTISM GROUP CLASS/CLAPHAM COMMON (SELF-REFERRAL WAS ACCEPTED)
I saw an Autism group on Instagram; when I did further enquiries...it led me to: AutismVoice web site...
I emailed them to inquire if it would be possible to attend their Clapham Common group class; they replied to me with an email saying, yes, affirmative.
My appointment was today...between 10 AM - 2 PM. With 1 hour break from lunch.
The teacher Sonia Asiedu did already explain to me...that all of the other group members would be 'younger'.
I found it just a little bit strange being in the company of so many 'younger' Autistic people...; but, on the other hand, I didn't feel total discomfort.
You see, there are different levels of Autism...and, I suffer from AS/Asperger's Syndrome...which is, also, known as being called: HFA/High Functioning Autism.
So, I find the class lessons just a little bit 'backwards' for me to do; but, nevertheless, I tried my best to 'fit in' by doing what everybody else was doing.
-----
1> Morning exercise: Create an advertisement to sell soap. (Draw/colour in.)
-----
2> Evening exercise: Create an apron(the apron 'template' was already cut out for us)...with a pocket(the pocket being in a style of your own choosing...whether you want it to go high/or, low/how wide you want the pocket to be).
You drew on a piece of paper...what style of pocket you wanted; then, that drawing was pinned to the apron material...along with your name...ready to sew in next week.
-----
I'd like to say I made many 'new' friends; but, the truth is, to me, who's totally 'new' to this group...which, apparently, has been going on for years...everyone there still remains a 'total stranger'...???
-----
In the mean time, whenever I got bored...I practiced doing some Origami/or, drawing people from photographs that was seen hanging on the walls.
-----
In the end, I got through the lessons...without running into any major problems...for which I was really and truly, glad.
I suppose, it might have helped that I did contribute to the group...
> 50 Pastel sticks
> 100 A3 sized coloured papers
> A ream of 250 white A4 sheets
...which I offered them as a 'gift' when I first walked in.
------------------------------
-14:30 ACTION SPACE/ART GROUP - CLAPHAM COMMON (APPLIED)
I was aware...that Action Space...which is an art group I used to attend before many years back...when going to Morley College/(Lambeth North)...; FREE Action Space classes were held 1 day per week around Gray's Inn Road...this would be pre-Choronavirus.
The lady I spoke to said...the cost is, now, £35.00 weekly...1 x 3 hour session...they provide all of the art materials/studios themselves.
I explained that I wasn't working...so, I'm a little bit worried about being able to afford it.
The lady noted down what were my current financial circumstances...took down both my 'name/phone number' details; and, said she would get back to me.
------------------------------
- 15:00 LAMBETH COLLEGE: CLAPHAM CENTER/THINKING OF TAKING AN ARTS BASED COURSE THERE
- https://www.southbankcolleges.ac.uk/about-us/lambeth-college
I walked into Lambeth College/Clapham Center...wanting to find out what are the 'latest' art based courses going on...; and, also, is it possible for a person 60+ to join in.
They showed me to a computer...; and, allowed me to surf through the college brochure.
But, after a while, I told them, no; I'd much prefer surfing their collage brochure at home, instead...; where there is far less 'hurrying' to make your mind up involved.
You can also make 'online applications' to join...; so, I decided it might be best going that route, instead.
I noted, too...that judging from what I saw on offer...there was no 'art/draw/paint/sculpt/ceramic' courses...; instead, there was things like: photography/media: film making/-etc.
------------------------------
CONCLUSION
Today, I am happy to get back into pursuing art classes for a bit.
As to the Autism group...I think, it might just be a bit too beginner's 'basic' for me...to hold my interest for much too very long...so, already, during my first day...I'm thinking of quitting going there.
In regards to Art Space group...at £35.00 weekly...I think, a person in my own dire financial position might be far better off studying for FREE at home.
Regarding, Lambeth College/Clapham Center...I might try joining a different college...; which has art classes that I'm much more interested in joining.
In particular, I really wouldn't mind returning back to go and study with Morley College, for instance; especially, as I have a FREE 60+ bus travel pass...due to arrive in through the post.
-----
- https://photocard.tfl.gov.uk
I travelled over to Clapham using my Oyster travel card...which had the sum of £6.00 pre-loaded onto it. I recall, in order to reach Clapham, I took a mixture of: railway train/bus/-etc.
But, when I tried to use the same Oyster travel card to return all the way back home, again...I, very quickly, discovered the money was all gone...?! This 'forced' me to have to walk all the way back home...a long journey of miles...maybe, 3 miles/or, more...Clapham/Balham/Streatham/then, finally, West Norwood.
I really can't wait for my FREE 60+ bus travel card to arrive, soon; then, I won't have to pay for travelling, anymore.
As soon as I returned back home...feeling totally 'dehydrated'...; the first thing I did was to go open up the fridge...and, drink some fizzy orange juice/afterwards, I had some hot tea...with chocolate chip cookie biscuits...which, happily, refreshed me.

-----
- CONCLUSION: MADE 2 MISTAKES
-----------------------------
- 09:30 AWOKE: FED CAT/LET HER OUT THE GARDEN
I had no cat food pouches left...; so, I'm going to have to out and buy some, soon.
But, I did have some 'emergency' tins of cat food left. Each tin will last around a day...; so, I give her a 1/3 at a time.
After she'd eaten, I let her out into the garden.
-----------------------------
- 09:50 LADBROKES/FREE BETS: DIDN'T WIN
I did spin the wheel to see if I could win any FREE bets; but, most unfortunately, this time I won nothing.
-----------------------------
- 10:00 WILLIAM HILL/FREE BETS: FOUND NOTHING
It took me a while to find where the FREE bet were on William Hill site...as I saw no email; thus, decided to go and explore the actual site itself. Eventually, I did find something...but, didn't win.
-----------------------------
- 10:30 WILLIAM HILL/ROULETTE: LOST £10.00
Doing the FREE bets...; did, eventually, wet my appetite enough to want to make 'real' bets. So, I went and invested £10.00 into playing Roulette...; most unfortunatly, I lost everything.
-----------------------------
- 18:00 FED CAT/LET HER BACK OUT INTO THE GARDEN
Gave the cat the rest of the tin of cat food that was left.
Then, let her back out the garden to run/play.
-----------------------------
- 19:00 SHOPPED: WEST NORWOOD/ICELAND:
From Iceland superstore...I brought...
- 1 x Chicken curry & rice £1.00
- 2 x Jamaican lamb patties £1.00 each = £2.00
-----------------------------
- 19:30 SHOPPED: TULSE HILL/MM CHICKEN
I walked down further towards Tulse Hill...; and, brought...
1 x 20 chicken wings/2 x fries £9.99
-----------------------------
- 20:00 LOOKS LIKE IT'S GOING TO RAIN/SO, LET CAT BACK IN, AGAIN
It looked like it's going to rain...; so, I decided to let the cat back in, again...; as she really doesn't like getting too wet.
-----------------------------
- CONCLUSION: MADE 2 MISTAKES
I should not have bet 'real' money...; because that £10.00 I went and lost...could have helped to pay off 1 bill.
Currently, I have 4 x credit card debts with payment arrangement to pay £5.00 per month = £20.00 monthly.
But, if I can clear off, at least, one of these debts...the smallest: £240.00; then, that would mean I only have to pay £15.00 monthly, instead of £20.00 monthly.
The second mistake I made was to buy £9.99 of chicken and fries; as, frankly, I didn't really 'need' it. Again, this money could have been used to pay off some of my credit card debts.
On the other hand, at least, I can say I have some food to eat for the next 2 days.

Most unfortunately, I had only brought enough cat foot to cover for just 1 week; and, when I went downstairs to check how much food was left...I found just one single packet...which I gave the cat to eat.
Now, I have to find enough money to buy her some more cat food pouches...and, preferably before this day is over...; meaning, I may having to go out shopping, later.
----------------------------------------------------
- 11:30 HEATED UP WHATEVER RICE WAS STILL LEFT IN THE POT FROM YESTERDAY
When I checked yesterday's pot...there was half a pot of rice left...so, I heated it up...thus, saving me from having to go make any other form of breakfast.
----------------------------------------------------
- 11:40 CHECKED IF 60+ BUS FREE TRAVEL CARD APPLICATION HAS BEEN APPROVED, YET? ANSWER: NO/SAYS: 'IN PROGRESS'
https://photocard.tfl.gov.uk/
One of the first things I do whenever I awake...is to check how is the progress on my 'latest' over 60+ free bus travel card application going...?
When I signed into my TFL/Transport For London a/c. online...it said still: In progress (whereas, before it said: Awaiting approval).
Too, I did notice that the black line underneath the photo...has now been corrected/removed...; which is really hopeful...as it means somebody is dealing with the application; and, therefore, it's not just being totally ignored.
----------------------------------------------------
- 11:50 CHECKED MY YAHOO EMAIL: TFL HAS APPROVED MY 60+ FREE BUS TRAVEL PASS APPLICATION...YES!!! TO RECEIVE IT IN 5 DAYS TIME
I decided, as usual, to go check out my Yahoo emails...; just to see if there is anything 'new' which urgently needs attention.
To my surprise...I saw an email there from TFL/Transport For London...; and, when I opened it up...it said that TFL has 'approved' my 60+ free bus pass application.
The email also stated that it will be delivered to me in another 5 days time.
-----
I must say, I'm really pretty glad to hear that good news...; as the cost of paying to travel by Oyster Card...especially, when one is broke...I found to be really killing; having to go top up the Oyster Card by £10.00 each time online...meant, if I topped up, once; I really couldn't afford to top up, again...and, also, expect to pay all of my other bills, too, as well.
So, pretty soon, all of the Oyster Card money ran out...; and, I was left 'stuck still' at home...; my legs not really up to doing any long walking, anymore...; Achilles Tendonitis affecting both foot heels...thus, making my walking both really 'slow'/and, too, 'painful'.
What I used to do...was just use my Oyster Card only for 'important' journeys alone; and, not really for leisure purpose.
----------------------------------------------------
- 13:05 PIRPLE MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP OF £1.00 WENT UNPAID - BANK A/C HAD NO MONEY LEFT: NIL BALANCE
- Checking through my Yahoo emails...by scrolling downwards...I saw that my Pirple monthly membership costing £1.00 per month...was 'unpaid'; this was because my bank current a/c. says £0.00 balance...?!
So, I had to change to a different debit card to pay the balance with, instead; and, this time payment did go through, successfully.

STAYED IN: EATING RICE
I cooked a pot of rice(butter/salt/diced pickled onion/diced beetroot)...together with a tin of meatballs/and, a tin of chopped tomato's...; and, as is usual, whenever I do such a thing...; I, mostly, tend to stay in...preferring not to go out on a full stomach.
Next, I had many different helpings of the rice...4/5.
Otherwise, I stayed in...intermittently, watching TV/and, going on the internet(Facebook/Instagram/YouTube/-etc.)

FREE BETS AT: WILLIAM HILL/LADBROKES
Did some FREE bet gambling at both William Hill/Ladbrokes.
I particularly recall playing Ladbrokes Bingo for FREE...and, winnng one time/then, the next time, when I decided to re-invest all the money I had won on doing some more Bingo...by buying multiple Bingo cards at 1p each...; then, I actually ended up winning a great big nothing/or, in other words, I lost...!

- 07:49 CHECKED 60+ FREE BUS TRAVEL PHOTOCARD APPLICATION/STILL AWAITING APPROVAL
GMT My recent 60+ photocard bus travel card application progress...
- Thu applied online for 60+ photocard bus travel pass...was instructed to both download/then, print out application form.
Went to West Norwood Library to have the form printed out...1 print out page cost £0.20p
- Fri paid £20.00 cash at Streatham WH Smith's/post office...also, handed in the form/with ID to them...birth certificate/utility bills
- Sat still awaiting for acceptance/approval...?
NOTE: When I initially tried uploading the photo...it was in the wrong orientation...lying down horizontally on its side...?! So, I had to use the online controls to correct this...make the photo appear to stand up vertical...only, then, I found the photo had a dark black line underneath...?
If and when the card does come...; then, I will be able to travel to see/visit London galleries a lot more freely and easily. At that point, you can expect to see many more photos being added to my Facebook feed/stream.
However, right now, I'm fully expecting them to say...that the photo is all wrong...; and, I will need to re-take it. Most unfortunately, there is no 'back' button...that allows me to retake once the application has already been made.
(I'm just hoping and praying they won't want another £20.00 cash...to make a next application starting from total scratch...?! As it is, they said, I have up until the 25th of May...which is the current application closing date.)

Fri 120523 Missed Ingeus appointment/paid £20 for 60+ bus travel pass/Lidl-cakes/£20 Training Shoes
When I awoke...I sent my Ingeus advisor, Negad...an email explaining that yesterday I missed the housing officer appointment...because I had to stay home to see UK Energy Management surveyor. She said she would re-arrange another appointment on Monday 22nd May.
------
Went to Streatham WH Smiths/Post Office with 60+ bus travel card pass form/ID (birth certificate) to pay £20.00 to register
-----
Inside of Streatham Lidl, I brought myself...
- 10 x Jam Doughnuts
- 5 x other things: 2 x Bread/3 Cakes
-----
I went into Gregs cake shop, where I brought...
- 1 x sausage roll
- 1 x chocolate cream eclair
-----
I brought £20.00 'steel toe' UK size 8 training shoes from a Streatham corner shop that was closing down.
-----
Thu 110523 UKEnergySupport house survey/West Norwood Library, 60+ travel pass printout form
Thu 110523
I heard a knock at the door...; and, I really wasn't too certain who it would be...?
When I opened the door, I was surprised to see a UK Energy Support representative called: Carl/(Karl?).
He said he did send me an email beforehand saying that he was coming to do a full house survey.
When I went and checked through my emails...; he did, indeed, send me an email...; but, it was oddly addressed...
>>>
From: titterton32@gmail.com
Heading: (No subject)
Hi, It's Carl, I'll be carrying out your survey tomorrow and should be with you at around 1:30pm. The survey will require a copy of a Utility Bill (preferably Gas) as proof of address, if you could have a copy (or be able to log in to your energy provider) I'd be grateful.
<<<
Now, how am I supposed to know that email is 'important' when it has (No subject) as a heading...; and, also, instead of using a company email...he's using a private gmail email address...?! (Anyway, I didn't bother complaining.)
NOTE: He did carry a company ID badge.
The guy went up and down the house taking photos...and, measuring stuff...using a hand held electronic beam.
Eventually, he left.
He told me, sometimes, it may take up to 5 weeks before I will get back any reply.
-----
Later on, during the evening, I went down to West Norwood Library to get a printout...as I wish to apply for a 60+ travel photocard pass.

Mon 080523 Awoke: Bad dream(insects)/Phoned doctor-Bank Holiday/-etc.

- 12:58 AWOKE: BAD DREAM/LOADS OF INSECTS SEEN CRAWLING AROUND INSIDE OF THE BEDROOM...?!
- 13:30 PHONED DOCTOR/BANK HOLIDAY/CLOSED...CALL, AGAIN, TOMORROW
- 17:35 GOTTA FEED THE CAT 6 PM EVENING
- 20:00 MADE DINNER : BAKED BEANS AND EGGS/BROWN BREAD WITH BUTTER - ALSO, MADE COOKHAM SANDWICHES TO EAT AS SNACKS, LATER ON
-------------------------------------------
- 12:58 AWOKE: BAD DREAM/LOADS OF INSECTS SEEN CRAWLING AROUND INSIDE OF THE BEDROOM...?!
I had yet another bad dream...where because I have a fear of insects; so, there is this psychological technique, commonly, known as 'flooding'...where whatever the person most fears...; then, you just put them right in there...with the thing they most fear...; and, that's meant to help them get over it.
So, the male doctor put insects all over my tall cabinet...; and, it was completely covered in the things...large 1 inch dark black round insects/with wings. -(I don't remember them flying, though?)
And, then, when I complained/'screamed' that I really couldn't stand it, anymore...as I can't relax/sleep...due to endless stress/worrying...; then, the doctor put some more inside of the bedroom.
At that point I, all of as sudden, woke up...!
-----
Trying to think what might have caused this dream, in particular...
- Apart from that I eat quite a bit before going off to sleep...; because I was 'hungry'; and, going to sleep on a full/or, even, half-full stomach...does not mean you will rest comfortably...as the food hasn't had proper time to fully digest, yet.
- Too, I keep on worrying that the leaky roof upstairs...due to the endless rain we have here in England...is about to cave in...; and, then, all of the flies/insects/moths/creepy crawlies...will come crawling in...going all over the house.
-------------------------------------------
- 13:30 PHONED DOCTOR/BANK HOLIDAY/CLOSED...CALL, AGAIN, TOMORROW
Later, after realising it's, now, Monday...I decided to go call the doctors...to see if they have set a date for my physiotherapy...? However, the answer machine said...it's Bank Holiday so there will be no one answering the phone until, tomorrow, Tuesday.
-------------------------------------------
- 17:35 GOTTA FEED THE CAT 6 PM EVENING
After I awoke, earlier...I did go downstairs to feed the cat; then, let her out into the back garden.
Now, the time is nearing 6 PM...I have to let the cat back in...feed her, once more...; then, let her out.
(That is, if she wants to go out; I always give her a 'choice'...by leading her to the garden door; then, opening it...if she wants to...she'll immediately go out...; but, if not...then, she'll just look outside...but, not move...I take that to mean she doesn't want to go out...; and, so, shut back the garden door, again...leaving her to stay in.)
-------------------------------------------
- 20:00 MADE DINNER : BAKED BEANS AND EGGS/BROWN BREAD WITH BUTTER - ALSO, MADE COOKHAM SANDWICHES TO EAT AS SNACKS, LATER ON
If only I had more money...then, I would buy myself some far better food; but, as it is, for the moment, I just have to 'struggle' on...making the minimum sort of thing.

- 21:00 AWOKE: BAD DREAM: (FAMILY RIVALRIES GONE 'MAD' )...!!! DISCOVERED I'D LEFT THE POT BURNING...FORGOT TO TURN IT OFF...BEFORE FALLING ASLEEP!
I awoke after having a really bad dream; close family rivalries having gone completely MAD...; then, just before I was about to get 'killed', all of a sudden, I wake up...!!!
When, I do awake...I get a really bad smell inside of the house...; then, I remember, I left the sausages on the fire...; and, fell asleep...; forgetting to turn it off....?!
So, I rush downstairs...and, head straight into the kitchen...turning off the fire underneath the pot.
In this particular case, having a bad dream really does make sense...in that it's a sort of wake up call...serving as being a 'reminder'.
-----
I do recall having eaten a lot of food before having gone off to bed...; and, with the food 'undigested' inside of my stomach...; that sort of thing would set off me having 'uncomfortable' dreams.
-----
Actually, the bad dream works on both counts...as our intense family rivalry still continues...even, now, today. I don't talk to my cousin/and, of course, vice versa...silver tongued as the Devil himself is...; being anywhere near him makes my own blood run totally 'cold'.
A f-ing psycho...as charming as a snake is...just when you're thinking to yourself, 'how cute'...; then, all of a sudden, it bites...and, very bitterly! I am extremely loathe to place any trust in him at all...; so, I keep the hell away...in case something serious between us really does go wrong. (Too much water has gone under the bridge, as they say; leaving no other room in the relationship...other than the aim for 'revenge'...!)

- CONCLUSION
----------------------------------------
- 00:50 SKIPPED/RAN...IN A 'PARANOID' SORT OF WAY...IS ANYBODY WATCHING ME...?!
I went outside...and, both 'skipped/ran'...inside of the alleyway.
The truth is, it's in my nature wanting to be as fit as I possibly can be; as I really 'hate' it being 'out of shape'...which makes me feel just awful...especially, when I know I could do far better.
All the time, I'm constantly 'aware' of all that's going on around me...
- Is anybody peering at me through their windows...?
- Is anybody behind the alley way coming up...with my back being turned towards them...?
I nearly always tend to become completely 'paranoid' when I'm around people.
I bet, if I were living in the countryside...with wide open areas...then, I would just exercise, regularly...without feeling I have to keep on looking right over my shoulder...just in order to make sure that nobody is watching.
----
I'm not exactly too sure exactly where the source of this 'paranoia' does come from; but, I do remember people, constantly, criticising me when I was younger...out of sheer jealousy, envy, spite, meanness, prejudice/-etc.; this sort of really bad behaviour...tended to make me withdraw into a safety shell...which, at it's worst, does actually become full blown housebound Agoraphobia.
-----
I tried skipping by using 'alternate legs' technique; but, I have to admit...I didn't do it terribly successfully...meaning, the rope kept on getting all tangled up around my two feet. Nevertheless, as long as I re-set...and, continue skipping for say 5/10 minutes...then, that's all fine with me.
Ran 'slowly' down the alleyway...; then, back up, again, going as 'fast' as possible. It's so important to get that heart rate beating 'fast...; and, this is why I've always much preferred doing running to walking.; however, as we grow older...then, we need to, very carefully, consider and accommodate...what we can do/and, also, that which we can't do anymore. In short, I try not to 'overdo' it, if possible...giving it say 60%...rather than the full 100%.
----------------------------------------
- 01:15 THINKING ABOUT THE KING'S COORONATION THAT'S DUE TO HAPPEN, LATER ON, TODAY...SHALL I GO OUT TO JOIN IN WITH THE CROWDS/OR ELSE, STAY IN WATCHING EVERYTHING ON TV...?
I really liked the Queen; and, also, I do like Prince Charles...because, essentially, I feel that he's a nice sort of guy...decent, respectful, loving, caring, warm. So, therefore, I feel really very pleased that he is, now, due to be crowned.
The only thing I keep on thinking about is...should I go out there to watch...amongst the crowds...; in large throngs of people...it's certainly possible that I won't even be able to see anything...?!
So, maybe, I'd be much better off staying home...and, just watching the event on 'close up' TV, instead; because, the camera's do cover seeing absolutely everything...going from 'start to finish'.
However, I'm also 'aware'...that there is no better feeling than, actually, being there...; especially, at such a 'rare' event, indeed. So, being a part of the crowd...can be really exciting. Plus, even if I don't get to see the Prince being crowned. I am sure to see so many people, at least.
----------------------------------------
- 16:00 RE-AWOKE: FIRST THING I DID WAS...WATCH SEEING THE CORONATION ON TV
I went off to sleep...I'm not too sure exactly when...but, when I awoke the time was 4 PM.
I decided there's no way I can go outside today...number 1, it's raining; and, number 2, my legs just do NOT feel up to it.
So, although, I really want to go and join the crowd around Buckingham Palace...in order to get a glimpse of King Charles/and, Queen Camilla(a very hard act to follow Lady/Princess Diana).
Still, I wish them all the very best...and, "LONG LIVE THE KING!" I sincerely hope his life will be both happy and peaceful, as well as, successful, too.
----------------------------------------
- 16:20 PM DECIDED TO GO AND BUY SOME 'CHICKEN AND FRIES' TO CELEBRATE THE KING'S CORONATION
I went down the street to buy some 'chicken and fries' at Tulse Hill...MM Chicken shop.
Along my way, I passed Iceland...where I went in and brought...
- 1 x Chicken Curry & rice £1.00 (microwave)
- 2 x Jamaican patties (lamb) £1.00 each = £2.00
- 15 eggs (I forgot the price, sorry)
I also went into a shop 2 stores away from MM Chicken...where I brought...
- 2 x grapefuits (65p each)
----------------------------------------
- 16:40 PM BEFORE RETURNING HOME...WENT TO VISIT WEST NORWOOD CEMETARY
Just before returning home...and, because I was already 'outside' on the street...; -(didn't want to go home/then, have to come back out, again)-; so, I decided whilst in the process of walking past West Norwood cemetery...to pop in there to pay respects to my own family...which I did; then, left.
----------------------------------------
- 17:40 RETURNED BACK HOME/FED THE CAT
I called the cat back in from the garden; and, then, fed her the last food of the evening.
----------------------------------------
- 20:00 PLAYED WILLIAM HILL FREE GAMES/5 x FREE SPINS: WON £0.24p.
I decided to open up a William Hill email which allows me to have 5 FREE spins...; after which I won: £0.24p; that I added onto my Poker balance. My Poker balance, now, says £0.83p; which, in turn, means I can play 8 x £0.10p games of Poker...at any time I wish.
----------------------------------------
- 20:14 WATCHING: FACEBOOK: POKERSTARSUK/LIVE TOURNAMENT

----------------------------------------
- 20:26 SIGNED IN TO WILLIAM HILL POKER...IN ORDER TO PLAY 10p GAMES...LOST EVERYTHING!
I had .83p balance left; and, decided to play 8 Poker games @ .10p each.
I won just one of these Poker games: .34p/and, lost all of the rest.
In the end my Poker balance said: .07p left...which is less than the .10p needed to continue playing poker games. So, then, I was 'forced' to quit playing, anymore.
----------------------------------------
- 20:30 SIGNED IN TO DUOLINGO...IN ORDER TO PRACTICE LEARNING SOME FRENCH
----------------------------------------
- 23:06 SIGNED INTO LADBROKES ONLINE A/C...HAD 3 FREE SPINS: WON: 30p
I signed into my Ladbrokes online a/c.; then, clicked on FREE bets...; one of the offers allowed me to spin a wheel...I won 3 spins.
When I took the 3 spins...I won £0.30p...winning £10p with each spin.
There are also further offers of FREE bets...; which I might just choose to take up, next.
----------------------------------------
- CONCLUSION
KING'S COORONATION
A most extraordinary day...one that happens only, once, every century, I think.
But, at least, the day seems to have gone really well for King Charles and his Queen...; and, also, I think, for all the rest of the country, too...a day for huge celebration. ;-)
-----
GAMBLING
I guess, my gambling 'addiction' still has a hold of me.
However, so far to date, at least...I'm not playing for big money; but, only using FREE money I won to play with. (I'm just hoping and praying...that I don't let myself get carried away...; and, then, start playing for 'real' money, instead.)

- 08:02 AWOKE/OR, RATHER WAS AWOKEN BY A 'BAD' DREAM...!
I awoke very early this morning...due to having experienced a 'bad' dream.
I had a first cousin called, Andrew...who was 2/3 years younger than me...even, as younger kids, we both tended to get on really well with one another...almost regarding ourselves as being brothers(we had no other brothers); and, who died in a motor cycle accident...he was 'speeding'...or, so, the police claimed...which was something he really 'loved' to do; and, he crashed into a car(I believe the car passenger's got hurt, too).
Well, unfortunately, just before he died we had a bit of a falling out with one another...; and, therefore, we were no longer on speaking terms, anymore.
-----
In my dream, I find myself practicing doing some skipping...something I've tried doing a lot more, recently; only in a very highly unfamiliar place/area...where I do not remember having ever been before...???
Next, thing I know...quite suddenly, straight from out of nowhere...a suited guy came and approached me -(if he saw me walking in the street...he would, usually, stop...when he was driving his car)- I can't recall in the dream if they, actually, said 'hello' or not...but, they did take hold of me. Quite clearly, I slowly began to recognize who that face was...it was my dearly departed cousin, Andrew. He looked rather 'younger', though...than I do remember when seeing him last.
-----
What's weird about that dream is...
-1, Apart from having gone and attended the actual funeral itself, I have never visited his grave. (Though, when I was in the area where I believe he is buried...I did try looking around to see if I could find it...but, no, I did not...?!)
- Number 2, a deeply perturbed mind is much more likely to get 'bad' dreams; than is a mind that is happy, peaceful, calm. My mind is very highly perturbed, at the moment.
- Financial problems (I am 'fast' running out of all money to be able to pay for bills/and, also, run the house...which is a ever constant worry on my mind...I worry about that all the time...where on earth am I going to get money from...? When my closest family: mum/aunt were still alive...; then, I had somebody to turn to for financial help and support...; but, with them both being dead...I, now, have absolutely no one to turn to for help...?!)
- Family estrangement (I don't actually speak to Andrew's sister, anymore/nor do I speak to his over-domineering, and, bad tempered uncle, Gary, neither...a person who I never trusted at all). I do have a photograph of: me/Andrew/Gary...at one of the family gathering's funeral; which, occasionally, I tend to take out to look at, again.
- I was meant to vote...; but, because they changed the voting system, recently...you have to bring ID...so, I didn't vote...fearing I didn't have the right sort of ID (no driving licence/passport)...I only got a 'birth certificate', instead; thus not having voted...did disturb me, somewhat...and, voting day was just yesterday; so, it was certainly playing on my mind.
- Another thing that might have affected my dreams...was I eat just before sleeping...; and, when you sleep on a full stomach...with 'undigested' food; then, that can lead to 'uncomfortable' sleep.
-----
Anyway, at the end of the day, I really don't know what that dream meant...if it's either meant to be a good/or, bad thing...; later on, during the day, though...I might try and look up the dream's meaning online.
-(I always had some serious doubts about 'fortune telling'...because, if you consult one place/person, it might say this/and, if you consult another place/person, they say that...; so, which of these is the 'right' prediction to believe in...?!)-
-----
Thinking about it...'nostalgia' plays a huge part in my life...; I suppose, in a way, it's how we both come to know, and, therefore, see ourselves as being, essentially...who we are related to...how we grew up/went to which schools...what food we ate/drank in the past...what country system we were born in...which, also, influences our 'feeling and thinking process'/-etc.
----------------------------------------------
- 12:00 NOON COOKED TUNA AND RICE
I made some 2 cups of brown rice(sprinkled with pickled onions/diced beetroot); which I eat with a tin of tuna chunks(salt/pepper)/together with 1 egg. It all tasted Very good, actually.
I can't believe just how quickly I finished eating the whole entire pot...; must have been really 'hungry', I guess.
Well, I didn't eat breakfast...; apart from tea/and, jam donought's.
I did also eat some fruit: 1 x diced apple/1 x banana/2 slices of grapefruit(Vitamin C).
But, that was about it.
-----
When I'm poor, I do NOT eat all that well...and, I have to deliberately try to keep my diet being as carefully well balanced as is possible; but, then, when I have money to spare...; man, I buy...
- 2 or 3 large sized pizza's...Vegetarian Hot/Sea Food/Donner Kebab
- Fish n Chips/with Steak & Kidney Pie/plus, large sausage in batter
- Chocolate sponge cakes/Chocolate Eclairs/Cream cakes...
- Sugar almonds/Belgian Chocolates/Haazen Daaz ice cream
- A whole red melon/mango's.
- etc.
I really do 'hate' it being poor; and, having to eat little else but...
- Baked beans and eggs/sometimes, I add in a tin of Franfurter sausages
- Loaf of brown bread(with butter/and, other spreads: Peanut butter/Nutella/Jam)
- etc
...living life poor is really kind of weird. I just have to treat it as if I were living a sort of special forces 'survivalist' sort of game...otherwise, I'm not sure if I could get through...?!

----------------------------------------------
- 14:00 DID SOME FACEBOOK IM/INSTANT MESSAGE CHATTING...INSIDE OF BOTH: THE ASPERGER'S ROOM/THE GAMBLING ROOM
As I usually tend to do of late...I used Facebook IM/Instant Message chat to enter 2 x different community rooms...
- ALS General Chat (Asperger's Life Support)
- Gambling addiction and recovery
...where I spoke to..and, with...a few people.
----------------------------------------------
- 15:00 JOINED IN WITH A GA/GAMBLER'S ANONYMOUS MEETING ONLINE (WHICH WAS BEING HELD IN AMERICA)
I was in a Facebook IM/Instant Message room, called:
- Gambling addiction and recovery
...when I saw an invite link, quite suddenly, appear...inviting the room visitors to attend an online chat meeting...which was being held in America; so, purely on a whim, I decided to join in.
The group based chat software used is called: Zoom. At first, I tried signing in from my Desktop computer...which has no mike/camcorder attached...; but, that communication method didn't work so well; therefore, I next decided to join in with the chat using my iPad Air 2, instead; and, everything worked fine.
I can't say I learned one hell of a lot inside there...; but, it certainly was interesting getting to see/talk to people -who speak English- on the other side of the world. Individual who wished to talk...were allowed to...including me, as well.
Finally, when the meeting was all over and done with...we all thanked everyone; and, then, left being in the Zoom software meeting.
----------------------------------------------
- 22:30 THOUGHT ABOUT GOING OUT TO BUY MYSELF SOME CHICKEN & FRIES...; BUT, LEFT IT FAR TOO 'LATE'
I was, seriously, thinking about going down to Tulse Hill...to go and buy myself some 'chicken and fries'; however, most unfortunately, even though I had gotten dressed...; with this or that distracting me...eventually, I found the time had run out...as the shop closes at 11 PM...; and, the current time, actually, said 10:55 PM; there's no way I can get down to reach Tulse Hill with less than 5 minutes left...?! Thus, I had to give up on that idea, completely...; who knows, maybe, when tomorrow comes.
----------------------------------------------
- 23:08 PLAYED WILLIAM HILL FREE GAMES/5 FREE SPINS (EMAIL)/WON: 10P!
I decided to check email...; and, in particular, searched for: WilliamHill...from the search results which came back...; I clicked on the most recent email which they sent me.
It said I was entitled to have 5 FREE spins...; so, I clicked there...
After taking the 5 FREE spins...I won just: £0.10p.
Nothing much further to say really...; other than, quite obviously, feeling somewhat disappointed; last time, I recall winning £3.00...which might buy me something -(that is, bearing in mind the minimum withdrawal is £5.00/so, you would need to keep on betting...and, winning more...before being allowed to withdraw any funds)-; but, £0.10p ain't going to buy me anything at all, I'm afraid.

-------------------------------------------------------------
- 05:54 AWOKE: FED THE CAT/THEN, LET HER OUT INTO THE BACKGARDEN
I woke up early for once.
Went and fed the cat; then, let her out into the back garden.
-------------------------------------------------------------
- 06:10 SKIPPED/RAN INSIDE OF THE ALLEYWAY
I didn't skip, yesterday. But, hey, that's ok...if one is 'serious' about
taking exercise...; then, one has to realise that a part of any 'keep fit' routine...is there will be both good/bad days; and, therefore, one has to expect the bad days to occur, too; you just have to think of strategic ways of getting around these...especially, do not 'stop'...but, instead, fully make up your mind to continue working out, just as usual.
1> I walked into the alleyway...holding my skipping rope; then, I skipped for few minutes...; most unfortunately, I didn't succeed in skipping for too very long...as the rope kept on getting all tangled up around my feet.
2> Next, I decided why not add another element to my 'keep fit' routine...which is to practice doing some running, as well. So, I ran both down the alleyway, going fairly 'slow'...; then, ran back upwards going as 'fast' as possible.
I think, in future, I might just decide to do this same routine around 3 times, minimum. The problem being that I lack stamina...and, also, my legs feel rather weak...; I need to build up my leg muscles strength.../as well as, work on building my stamina more.
-------------------------------------------------------------
- 06:30 MADE FRUIT BOWL/COOKHAM SANDWICHES - BREAKFAST: BAKED BEANS & EGG
Whenever I awake/and, also, just before I sleep...I like to start/end the day by drinking 2 pints of water...either plain hot water/or else, 'flavoured' by using chocolate tea/tea bag/orange juice syrup/-etc.
This morning I had 2 pint mug cups of 'hot' water...
- 2 x Jam doughnuts
- 1 x Cream cake
...I got to watch how much sweet stuff I'm eating, though; as, if I'm not careful, then, all of these cakes will be long gone/finished...?!
I must learn to slow down and pace myself to eat cakes less frequently...so, that they will last to the end of the week...without me needing to go out and buy more.
----
I also made...
- Fruit bowl: Diced apples/diced banana/dates/2 slices of grapefruit(Vitamin C)
-(The truth is, I didn't need to make any fruit bowl, today; because I found that yesterday's fruit bowl...was still left inside of the fridge. So, I took it out of the fridge to return back to 'room temperature'; then, I can eat it.)-
- Sandwiches: 1/2 of French Stick Bread cut into 4 pieces...each piece, then, cut in half...and, filled with Butter/Cookham
- Breakfast: Baked beans & 1 egg(sprinkled with salt & pepper)
-------------------------------------------------------------
- 07:00 GOT SOME MORE SHOPPING TO DO...EGGS/-ETC.
I notice I only have just 4 eggs left inside of a box. So, I need to go out and buy more eggs...hopefully, a box of 15 x mixed size eggs should do...; which should last me right up until the end of the week.
I love to eat eggs...; and, would normally have, at least, 2 per day; whether it's...
- fried egg (with a tin of baked beans/tin of spagetti)
- boiled eggs (I, usually, make 2/prefer my egg to be hot, nice and 'runny'...)
- egg omelette (diced onions/diced tomato's)
- etc.
...and, of course, whenever I make eggs...I usually add salt & pepper/only salt if the egg is boiled.
I also have got no tomato's left.
Plus, I need to buy either some tangerines/grapefruit.
-------------------------------------------------------------
- 07:15 HAD BREAKFAST: BAKED BEANS AND EGG - READY TO FACE THE REST OF THE DAY, NOW
Well, I'm having breakfast, right now...; baked beans and egg.
The good thing about having had breakfast...; is it makes me feel like I'm ready to face the rest of the day...without needing to snack, constantly...; because, I feel ever so hungry.
Therefore, I find, it's usually a big mistake to miss out on having had breakfast, altogether.
-------------------------------------------------------------
- 07:30 TRYING TO THINK...WHAT TO DO WITH THE REST OF THE DAY...? STREATHAM, JOB CENTER APPOINTMENT/POSSIBLY, GO AND VISIT SEEING TATE BRITAIN
One of the reasons why I woke up so early, today...was I knew I have an important appointment at Streatham Job Centre...; so, I wanted to get ready for it sooner rather than later.
When one suffers from ADD/Attention Deficit Disorder...; then, 9 times out of 10...I'm arrive at my appointment, 'late'. A part of the reason why...is I just wasn't ready in time.
However, after having gone and said all that...; even, if I was ready...; when on suffers from ADD; then, it's still possible to get there 'late'...as something else comes along to 'distract' you...whether it's watching TV/Internet/or, whatever...I fell asleep, again.
------
I'm thinking after going to Streatham Job Center; then, I might go to visit seeing Tate Britain Gallery, as well.
Though, I may have missed early morning...I can still visit Tate during the evening, anyway.
-------------------------------------------------------------
- 08:30 THAMES WATER DROPPED A NOTE THROUGH MY DOOR...STATING THEY ARE GOING TO CUT THE WATER SUPPLY OFF...FOR A SHORT TIME PERIOD OF 3 HOURS WHILE THEY ARE WORKING: TUE 9TH 10 AM -1 PM
-------------------------------------------------------------
When one has really low funds inside of one’s bank a/c.; then, it becomes strictly necessary to check what the a/c. balance says, daily; otherwise, if one does end up going ‘overdrawn’...then, the bank helps themselves by pouring on extra charges for each day your a/c. does remain being in the ‘red’.
Right now, my current a/c. is in the ‘black’...meaning not overdrawn...however, it says I just have no more than £5.00 left...which is not my idea of very good news.
-------------------------------------------------------------
- 13:30 ARRIVED LATE AT STREATHAM JOB CENTER...DUE TO 'SIGN ON' AT 1:20 PM...BUT, MANAGED TO GET THROUGH, ANYWAY
I recall lying back in bed...; whilst calmly watching TV...really into the TV show...; when, all of a sudden, I remembered...I had to 'sign on' at Streatham Job Center at a 1:20 PM. I looked at the time...and, it actually said, 1:30 PM; so, therefore, I knew I was already 'late'...?!
It usually takes me, at least, 15 minutes to reach over to Streatham...and, only if I run as fast as I possibly can; and, at age 60+ years old...I'm afraid, that's not very fast at all. Nevertheless, I had to try and do my utmost best.
I think, I arrived at Streatham Job Centre...from West Norwood...around a mile long journey...at around 1:45 PM.
Luckily, the guy who I had to sign on with, Richard...; knew I had great difficulties getting to appointments on time...and, therefore, was deeply sympathetic when he heard me breathing really 'hard'; thus, he allowed me to sign on a bit late...for which I heartily thanked him, and, left.
-------------------------------------------------------------
- 14:00 RODE 3 X BUSES TOWARDS TATE BRITAIN GALLERY...WHERE I SPENT THE REST OF THE EVENING...FROM 2PM-6PM CLOSING TIME
From Streatham, I decided purely on a whim...to go and visit Tate Britain Gallery...just to see what's there...???
I could have gone home, first; then, retrieved my iPad/with built-in camera...but, I really couldn't be bothered...; too much extra time and effort...; so, I resolved, today, I'll just go and look...won't bother taking any pictures...pictures can wait until when another day comes.
----
The first bus I climbed onto was a 159...which took me from Streatham to reach Oval...; where I hopped onto a number 3 bus, instead; this took me to the foot of Black Prince Road...where I jumped onto a number 360...taking me to Vauxhall Station...where I got off, and, walked over the bridge into Pimlico.
From Pimilco -(the other side of Vauxhall Bridge)- I simply turned left at the corner...following the river bank...until I reached Tate Britain building.
Inside there I showed them my 'Tate Members' pass...; and, I was able to get into any 'paid' exhibition they have entirely for FREE...meaning, I can visit each exhibition show, repeatedly, again and again...; and, no need to pay more...than, my Tate Membership pass did cost for the year.
-----
I witnessed seeing 2 'paid' exhibitions...
- Isac Julien (I saw this exhibition upstairs, first; very interesting...it's seems to be 'slavery' related...with lots of films.)
- The Rosetti's (I saw this exhibition, last...; because, it was soon closing time...; therefore, I had to 'rush' through the entire show. The Rosetti's 'draw/paint' extremely well...meaning, I will need to go and see this exhibition, again, soon; maybe, even do some 'copying' there.)
-----
As well as, seeing the above shows...I also visited...
- The drawing room, upstairs...where the famous Athlete Wrestling with a Python sculpture is kept...in there I borrowed some FREE A4 sized papers to practice drawing on
- I also discovered this time, downstairs...they have a kids drawing room...which is equipped with 'digital art' screens/'digital pens'. So, I went in...and, practiced doing some drawings of my own...; many of which I 'uploaded' into Tate Gallery drawings archive. I recall drawing a 'self-portrait' from memory...which I both 'dated/signed'.
- I visited the Clore Gallery section...which houses Turner's work...saw many 'new' sketchbook 'drawings/paintings' by him...extremely impressed. In the space of an A5 sheet...this guy can capture whole external buildings/as well as, building interiors...including 'light/shade'...people/and, many other object details.
I did pause for a bit to practice drawing Turner's self-portrait...; but, having not drawn for a while...I'm afraid, I got the proportions all wrong/and, the shading of the hair...I went and totally 'overdid' it...by going in far too dark...?!
- I recall visiting both book shops...upstairs/downstairs...just to look; didn't buy anything...far too broke, I'm afraid.
-------------------------------------------------------------
- 18:15 BROUGHT FROM THE PIMLICO SHOP...NEAR THE NUMBER 2 BUS STOP...SOME REFRESHMENTS: 1 X TIN OF COKE/PACKET OF 3 X CHOCOLATE BOUNTY SWEETS
I did try getting a drink inside of Tate Gallery...; but, unfortunately, the drinks fountain was broke.
So, I was feeling fairly 'dehydrated'...and, therefore, rather 'tired/weak/listless/confused'...I knew, I needed to get a drink, and, really 'fast'.
I entered the Pimlico shop opposite the number 2 bus stop; and, asked the guy behind the counter how much is the minimum spend by card; he answered me £2.00.
I brought...
- 1 x tin of Coke
- 3 x chocolate Bounty sweets
When I came out of the shop...I made sure to drink the tin of Coke, first; then, after feeling 're-hydrated'...; I eat 1 of the chocolate Bounty sweets whilst still standing up on the street/and, the other 2 whilst sitting down on the return bus home.
-(NOTE: It is a 'big mistake' for me to travel without taking any drinks along with me for refreshment...; as I seem to get 'dehydrated' really very quickly and easily. After around 2 hours...of walking through the gallery...going here, there, everywhere...both upstairs/downstairs...all the time, I'm 'sweating' without even knowing it...; therefore, loosing essential fluids. I must have walked miles going up and down all over that gallery. Next time, I must remember to take a drink with me, first; before choosing to visit.)-
-------------------------------------------------------------
- 19:00 ARRIVED BACK HOME BY BUS TO WEST NORWOOD GARAGE...FED CAT/THEN, LET HER BACK OUT INTO THE GARDEN
First, thing I did when I arrived home...after taking a number 2 bus from Pimlico to West Norwood bus garage...was to open up the back garden door; and, feed the cat...; normally, I would feed her at 6 PM...but, the time was, now, 7 PM, instead.
After feeding her, I let her back out into the garden, once more. I will retrieve her back in, again, later on, during this evening...maybe, at 9/or, 10 PM.
