- 12:54 PM THINKING ABOUT VISITING TATE BRITAIN GALLERY...
Today, I wish to get over to the gallery...Tate Britain...is easiest...if I take the number 2 bus...from the very bottom of my road; then, all the way back, again.
I also did put money onto my Oyster travel card...with that express purpose...£10.80 balance.
For me, the weekend is by far the very best time to travel..; as my mind is less likely to get ‘distracted’ by having to do so many other things, instead...during all the rest of the week.

- 13:30 PM VISITED EMMAEUS CHARITY SHOP/AND, ALSO, THE 2ND HAND SHOP NEXT DOOR
I visited Emmaeus homeless charity shop; where I like to go to peruse items to buy.
I didn't find anything 'cheap' there, though; it was £7.50/£10.00/£15.00; and, I just didn't have that sort of spare cash.
I liked seeing the Japanese stuff they had...a bit like fans; but, not a fan...showing Kabuki actors/actresses.
Afterwards, I visited the 2nd hand shop next door...; where I saw the guy watching 'female rugby' on a TV. I said to him, how extraordinary...they now have 'female football' on the TV/and, 'female rugby'. He replied, that only recently they've been showing 'female rugby'.
I looked the other items he had for sale in his store...; but, again, the price was too high to go 'tempt' me to buy anything; as, I only had £4.00 left inside of my bank a/c.; so, I said, 'goodbye'; and, then, very quickly, left.

- 14:00 PM TOOK SOME VIDEOS OF ME DOING SKIPPING...OUTSIDE OF PUBLIC BUILDINGS
I took some videos of me being seen 'skipping'...outside of public buildings in West Norwood; (I didn't skip for much too long, though...just merely seconds...; before, going off and visiting seeing another place, instead.)
- West Norwood Leisure Centre
- St Luke's Church Yard (back/and, too, front)
- West Norwood Library
- West Norwood Cemetary
- West Norwood Bus Garage
(In the end I decided to take those video's down from off Facebook...as they were a bit too boring...; just me doing the exact same skipping exercise, again and again. So, I left up there just 'one' video of me skipping...; and, decided that was more than enough.)

- 15:00 PM PLAYED CHESS INSIDE OF WEST NORWOOD LIBRARY
I already knew that on Saturdays...they have FREE games of Chess at West Norwood Library...somewhere around 12:00 noon-1 PM.
So, I went in there to see if I could see anybody playing at the Chess Club; and, sure enough I found them.
Normally, they would play inside of a library room...; but, today, thet room was left 'empty'; because today was really sunny...; therefore, they choose to play Chess outside in the open...within an enclosed glass window space.
I went out there...and, played two games of chess with the chess leader...I'd played against him before, and, on multiple occasions; but, most unfortunately, he beat me, twice.
We had an interesting conversation, though...
ME: I was born in Kings College hospital 1963.
HIM: I was born same place, too, in 1958.
ME: I used to attend Norwood Park Primary School on Gypsy Road.
HIM: (I forgot where he said he went...)
ME: Afterwards, I went to Tulse Hill Secondary School
HIM: I used to attend the Strand.
ME: Those are all names I can distinctly recall...brings back memories.
We both shook hands; and, he told me come back next week...to
which I agreed.

- 17:00 PM BROUGHT SOME CAT FOOD AT WEST NORWOOD COOP
Finally, I got around to doing what was my previous 'going out' aim...which was to go and buy some food for the cat...inside of West Norwood CoOp supermarket store.
When I returned back home...I called the cat in from the back garden...; and, fed her.
Need to let her back out, again...whilst the sun is still shining. She's at the back of me...lying on the sofa having a quick 'catnap' sleep.
As well as cat food...; I also brought from the same CoOp...
- 2 chocolate doughnuts...going cheap @ £0.57p (read: going out of date).
- 1 x packet of 'plantain' crisps @ £1.10p

- 18:00 PM DIDN'T GO: TATE BRITAIN GALLERY CLOSED, NOW...; I WILL TRY AGAIN, TOMORROW
Unfortunately, I let myself get 'distracted' by going off, and, doing other things. When I looked at the time...I realised that Tate Britain Gallery is, now, shut; because, they open at 10 AM; then, close at 6 PM.
But, no worries about that...I have already got everything ready...
- bus travel pass has credit on it: £10.80
- brought a yearly Tate Gallery membership pass
...so, I will go there tomorrow. (If I don't get 'distracted', again...? ADD/Attention Deficit Disorder.)
