Wed 300920 Bank charges

BANK CHARGES

Woke up, realised it's the end of the month; and, therefore, the bank are going to add on their usual interest charges, generally: £30.00. This meant my a/c. was now overdrawn, and, therefore, in the 'red'; and, I had to make a deposit to set it back in the 'black'.

After making a deposit or two...; currently, my a/c says just: £1.xx in credit.

That balance total is very deeply worrying, because there is an urgent Direct Debit due to leave the a/c. tomorrow of £40.00. I will need to find some way to go and top up the a/c., immediately, before tomorrow when it will be far too 'late'...!

Tue 290920 Paid CashPlus/TalkTalk/Thames Water/TV License/Merlene phone call/Take away

PAID CASHPLUS

I owe CashPlus £225.00 loan; I paid them £25.00...which should leave £200.00 still owing.

LATEST UPDATE: When I actually called to check what the balance was it said: £215.xx still owing...; so, I guess, they must have added on monthly interest.

PAID TALKTALK

I paid TalkTalk £30.00...which is the monthly cost of both broadband/phone.

PAID THAMES WATER

I paid Thames Water £35.80.

PAID TV LICENSE

I paid TV Licence £12.00

12:00 MIDDAY MERENE PHONED ME

Around midday, I got a surprise phone call from my cousin, Merlene.

She: "Hello, Paul"

Me: "Who's that...?"

She: "Somebody who knows you."

Me: "What do you want?!"

She: "Want to know how you're doing...?"

Me: Silence (Dropped down the phone, hard!)

If I thought for one single minute that my cousins meant me any 'good' wishes/and, not strictly all 'bad'...I would go and visit them, happily, right now. The reason I refuse to keep in contact with them...; and, avoid them as much as is possible; is I don't believe they mean me any good at all...all that's going to happen if I ever choose to get myself involved with them...is it's going to bring me nothing else but trouble, trouble, and, more trouble...none of which I want/or, need...as if life wasn't already quite difficult enough...without other people coming in an interfering in your life...with only bad intentions to come and hurt you as badly as they can!

1 PM BROUGHT PIZZA/CHICKEN WINGS TAKE AWAY

From ever since I awoke during the morning...my intentions were to go down the road and buy myself a take away; so, I went and brought 2...

1 x Super Pizza 18 inches/Seafood flavour

2 x Chicken wings & fries...the normal price for one is £3.00/only the minimum payment by card is for £4.00; so, that's why I decided to buy two.

1:25 PM THINKING ABOUT VISITING TATE GALLERY TO GO AND DO SOME 'COPYING'

Another thought that's been in my mind from ever since morning...is I need to go and practice doing some 'copying' at Tate Britain. However, so far I haven't done anything, yet. Still eating...

Wed 150920 Paid: CashPlus/Council Tax/-etc. Gambled £5.xx/lost! Phoned Geoff. Paypal a/c. OD

BILLS

PAID CASHPLUS

I made a CashPlus loan payment of £60.xx towards a £260.xx loan; so, I still got £200.00 to pay, now.

PAID COUNCIL TAX

I paid just £10.00 towards the Council Tax bill. (Normally, I would pay £33.00 monthly.)

PAID POCKET

My Pocket balance said: £0.05p; so, I had to top it up with £11.00

OTHER

I made another payment for £50.00.

GAMBLING

I deposited £5.xx on Roulette...; my previous balance had said: £6.xx; at one point, I was winning £12.xx; then, started loosing...until when my balance said just £0.70p left; that's when I decided to quit.

BANK BALANCE

My current bank balance says just: £2.43p.

LOANS: LOQBOX

Sometime, around the end of last week, I took out a 'credit building' loan for £300.00...to be paid back £25.00 monthly over 12 months; which is meant to restore back some of my really poor 'credit rating' score.

Sites that show what is your current credit rating score...

LIFE INSURANCE

I'm currently paying for monthly Life Insurance with...

- AIG
- Legal & General

...both of these fees might have to stop; because I cannot afford it.

BUILDERS

I tried contacting Zoltan the builder about coming back, and, finishing off the job he started; however, with no success. Just like Geoff had said...do not pay the builders off too soon; as once they got their money...they have no reason to return.

My method of contacting Zoltan was through the Facebook Messenger app. I sent his photos/videos of the work that's still undone; as well as, pictures of the 'leaking' kitchen pipe.

STUDYING

PROGRAMMING/DONE NONE

Unfortunately, I haven't been doing hardly any programming at all of late; just not in the mood to go and study maths.

ART/DRAWING

I been busy practising doing some 'imaginary drawings'...and, not very well; got to try and learn properly by studying anatomy books more.

OTHER STUDYING

I should be doing 'courses' online...which I've gone and paid for...sometimes through monthly installments:

-https://www.britainnica.com (cancelled monthly subscription this month/to run out on the 260920)

- Also, Amazon Unlimited (forgot their web site address)

...a lot of these monthly subscriptions have got to stop; as, frankly, I cannot afford it!

FITNESS

Recently, I went and brought some 'keep fit' items from off eBay...

-  1 x free standing punch ball

- 1 x free standing kick bag (haven't worked out how to make the thing stand up straight/it says add water to the base...but, I still haven't quite worked out how to do that, yet)

- 1 x top and bottom bag (I've still not installed the top and bottom bag, yet)

I've done no 'walking/running' about the block...or, inside of the park/or, even on the streets.

I hardly ever ride my bike out there, neither; unless it's to go visit a gallery (Tate Britain)/or, to go out and do some much needed shopping. I should, at least, try and ride my bike around the block every single day...in order to get 'fresh air'.

11 AM SPOKE TO GEOFF

Unfortunately, my cousins house was burgled, recently; I think, it was Monday 7th September 2020. They had gone for a 3 hour trip to go visit Geoff's mother who is seriously ill; and, then, when they returned found the house being in a turned over mess; with important items missing...apparently, the burglars were looking to find items of jewellery.

They sent the kids to go and stay elsewhere...; and, then, fixed up the house to look more or less like normal; which is when they invited the kids to return back home, again. They made up a story that the burglar alarm had frightened the burglar's off. In reality, the burglar's had cut through the wires of the alarm; thus, disarming it. They broke in through the back of the property; most probably, through having climbed over the front; too, rather alarmingly, they left a 'baseball bat' behind them....possibly, to use for protection.

I told Geoff that i might come and see them some time during the weekend.

12:50 PM PAYPAL GAVE ME A CALL TO SAY MY ACCOUNT IS IN DEBIT/PAID THEM THE FULL AMOUNT OWING USING MY CASHPLUS LOAN CARD

I got a phone call from PayPal...; who said my a/c. was in debit because the bank would not allow any funds to be withdrawn...this was because my current a/c was overdrawn. I used my CashPlus loan card to pay PayPal off, immediately, in full; altogether the sum paid was: -£86.62.

This means I now owe to CashPlus a sum total of £286.62 in loan -to be repaid- money.

SAT 290820 BUILDERS DONE...MORE OR LESS

290820 BUILDERS DONE...MORE OR LESS

Unfortunately, I haven't been updating this blog quite as regularly as I should have; therefore, this post is just to fill in some parts that have been missing.

Currently, the builders have...

Removed rubbish waste...a truck came to take it all away...

http://www.jrlwasteremovals.co.uk

- Old cooker (not working) gone

- Old leaking toilet gone

- Old leaking bathroom tap/fixtures removed

Also, they built...

- Built a new bathroom

- Built a new toilet

- Changed the Kitchen sink(not installed a new kitchen sink/but, threw away the old rotten low twin cupboard base; and, built an empty wooden base to use with the old kitchen sink, instead).

Altogether, I had to pay them £3,800.00; which is all done.

As usual, I think, I might have paid far too early...; as they haven't returned to complete doing the job...certain gaps here and there need to be filled in; also, there is more rubbish in the front part which needs to be removed(however, I believe I can do that part myself...just use a wheelie bin...down to the tip half way down the road).

The main gist of the job, however, which was to fix the collapsed ceiling.../floor on top...has been all done; so, the house is, now, 'safe'...to walk/live in, again. -Thank God!- Before, I really wasn't sure if I was going to fall through the weakened floor/or, the ceiling might collapse on my head whenever I went downstairs to use the toilet facilities.

GAVE AWAY FOLDER OF KEY HAYES WORK

In a mad moment of gratefulness/generosity...I went and gave away an A4 size black plastic folder containing around 80+ Key Hayes water colour painting on paper art works. Each piece cost me around £14.00 (brought from off eBay)...so, when you do the maths...80 x £14.00 = £1,120.00.

Unfortunately, I tend to be very generous, indeed, to people who do work for me; in fact, far too generous.

Anyway, Zoltan, says his daughter is into art...; and, so, if she appreciates it...all well and good; all I ask is that people do appreciate the artworks I give them.

Somebody once said...you don't actually 'own' art; instead, 'art is something you will, eventually, pass on to others'...you sort of guard/protect/keep it safe while it's in your own personal custody; it is passed on to either family, friends, acquaintances; or, if the art is really good...then, to a main gallery/or else, possibly, even, the National Gallery; at other times, people 'inherit' it; or, it's 'sold' at auction so that the 'highest bidder' can buy.

NOTE: I haven't actually seen the builders in over a week. So, this post is being written, afterwards. They were meant to return; or, at least, one of them, the primary, 'big' Zoltan (not his 'slim' mate rather confusingly, also, called Zoltan); but, I think, he's far too busy to come. Why bother coming, again; when you've already been fully paid...?!

280820 YESTERDAY SHOPPED AT STREATHAM POUND STORE

Yesterday, I went shopping at Streatham pound store.

290820 TODAY, SHOPPED AT WEST NORWOOD ICELAND

Today, I went and did some further shopping at West Norwood Iceland.

WILL NEED TO BUY, AT LEAST, 3 FRIDGES

What I really need to buy is, 3 tall fridge/freezers...(even if it's 2nd hand)...

1 > For the kitchen
2 > For the living room
3> Another for the basement floor

All of the previous 3 fridges/need replacing, desperately; either they no longer work/or, are really far too old to work most effectively/efficiently.

Then, I should be able to store all of the shopping I need; and, wouldn't need to keep on going down the road to do any more shopping...which is a task I absolutely hate...; having to balance 4 shopping bags on my bikes 2 handle bars...2 full shopping bags on either side...can be extremely awkward...whilst attempting to ride/watch traffic, all at the one same time...rather like practising doing some 'juggling'...?!

Fri 140820 Builders continue working...

BUILDERS STILL WORKING

As usual, the builders, Zoltan - medium size fellow to large(main head worker to whom I pay all of the money)/(and, his partner, also called, Zoltan - slim/doesn't speak English too well...mostly talks using his own language, Hungarian) come to work here every day...they said they will stop working on Sunday.

They arrive 8 AM; and, will usually finish at around: 4 to 5 PM.

So, far they...
- errected scaffolding to hold up collapsed ceiling/knocked down toilet/bathroom wall above
- knocked down the kitchen/bathroom wall above...also, demolished the rotten wooden ceiling joists
- added new wooden ceiling joists/turned off water
- turned water back on/added floorboards to go on top of the joists so that now it's possible to walk inside of the kitchen
- errected bathroom/kitchen wooden frames.../a van came JMLWasteRemoval...and, took away most of of the waste stored outside of the front part of the house; and, also, the old cooker (no longer working)

So far to date, I've paid them the sum of £3,500.00; with £300.00 still left to be paid.

£500.00 was to errect scaffolding/knock down wall.
£3,000.00 is to do the rest: bathroom/toilet.
£300.00 I'm not too sure what that's about...I think, it might be to hire the skip to get rid of the rubbish/rubble.

In fact, there is still so much more work remaining to do; but, because it will cost thousands...and, I really can't afford that...; therefore, I think, it's just going to have to wait.
