Wed 050723Missed St Thomas hospital Physiotherapy appointment

I awoke at around 1 PM...when I walked into the living room...I saw the telephone answer machine light 'flashing'...meaning, I had a phone call which I missed.

When I picked up the phone...it was a call from St Thomas hospital 'physiotherapy' department...a guy called: Mohammed said I had an appointment today at 9:40 AM...; but, he doesn't think I will be able t o attend on time. I should rebook within 2 weeks.../otherwise, I will be discharged.

So, I did an internet search to find: 'St Thomas Physiotherapy'...and, the telephone number that came up is:

020 7188 7188 (...takes you through to the operator)

Mon 170723 Went Ingeus in Stockwell/too late/rebook! Visited Tate Britain, practiced drawing

ARRIVED AT IGNEUS IN STOCKWELL FAR TOO LATE/REBOOK

Unfortunately, when I went to visit Ingeus in Stockwell...; I arrived there 'late' by 15 minutes. They told me that my advisor, Negad, is off sick; so, they will try to find somebody else to help. Later on, they said no one can see me...; I will have to 'rebook'. (They will contact me as to when.)

VISITED TATE BRITAIN GALLERY

I took the tube from Stockwell to Pimlico. Got out of Pimlico, and, walked across the road to go and visit Tate Gallery; where I did some drawings inside of their 'drawing' room. I left all of the drawings I did behind for others to go view. Returned back home...by taking a number 2 bus.

Tue 270623 Duolingo 1st place on the leaderboard/Building a personal web site...

 DUOLINGO

https://www.duolingo.com

I woke up at 00:00...which is the beginning of Tuesday.

The first thing I did was move over to the computer to go and check if my current 1st place leaderboard position had been overtaken; answer, no.

Then, I determined to just keep on studying so that I can raise my score even higher still: 879...; then, hopefully, nobody will be able to overtake me...; 2nd place is: 779

Other things that are going through my mind is...yesterday, I forgot to visit...

...so, this was a really big mistake. However, as they say, it's no use crying over already spilled milk...! Just got to pretend that I did NOT miss a day...and, keep on going, as usual.

I am in the process of writing a personal web site...

Mon 260623 Phones Ingeus for next appointment/Studied French at Duolingo...gaining 1st place on the leader board.

11 AM One of the first things I did when I awoke was to phone up Ingeus: 0800 020 9989; and, then, ask them if I have any appointment, today. Their reply to me was, no; not until next week, Monday at 3 PM.

12:00 I continued learning French at Duolingo...currently, I'm on Unit 50...out of 219 Units...; and, am in the Gold League. I started the day with the goal of coming in 1st place on the leaderboard...; and, eventually, I got there...; though, it took me all day long in order to acheive the same...; working away from 12:00 noon...through to 8 AM evening. After that I decided that both my eyes can no longer continue staring at the screen...and, really quite desperately, I need to take a break; so, I went off to sleep.

When I awoke the time was 00.00...the beginning of the next day...; however, when I returned back to the computer...I was still in 1st place...; and, nobody had overtake my score, yet; even, though, I was only ahead by a mere 100 points: 879/and, 2nd place score says: 779.

Tue 200623 Gambled at William Hill and won: £10.00 -> £30.00

Tue 200623 A bit of a strange day...

-------------------------------------------------------------

Table of contents:-

-> Received fortnightly government benefit money...; and, had to use this to pay urgent bills...; was left with just £10.00.

-> Gambled at William Hill...deposited £10...won £30.00. But, had some difficulty withdrawing.

-> Returned back to William Hill...to see if I could repeat the successful bet of this morning. Nope, it failed...I lost £10.00!

-> Other worries that are, constantly, going through my mind...making me feel 'depressed'.

-------------------------------------------------------------

-> Received fortnightly government benefit money...; and, had to use it to pay pay bills...; was left with just £10.00.

Today, I received government benefit money...which is approximately £140.00 forthightly.

£ 70.00 payment to British Gas
£ 50.00 payment to CashPlus loan
£ 10.00 payment to the TV Licence
------
£130.00

...so, after spending £130.00 of the £140.00 benefit payment...; in all this left me with a balance of just £10.00 to live on for the next forthnight...(2 weeks long/which is living on £5.00 a week).

In despair, I firmly resolved to go and do some gambling...in order to make up that small amount of money that was left; (all the time, hoping I don't just go and lose it ALL...?!)

-------------------------------------------------------------

-> Gambled at William Hill...deposited £10...won £30.00. But, had some difficulty withdrawing.

I bet on a mixture of both 'live' Roulette/and, also, Spin the Wheel games.

I won't even bother to go into all of the precise details...of the money going up/and, then, down...as winning at gambling don't necessarily come too easy.

But, I will say this much...when I had finished...I had turned my £10.00 stake deposit bet...into being £30.00.

So, basically, I came away, smiling. ;-)

-------------------------------------------------------------

-> Returned back to William Hill...to see if I could repeat the successful bet of this morning. Nope, it failed...I lost £10.00!

After having made the withdrawal of £30.00 from out of my William Hill online betting a/c.; into my bank a/c. Note, they would not let me withdraw to just one card/instead, I had to withdraw to 2 separate cards, instead(Nat West/Pockit).

There was no other choice left but to 'wait'...until when the funds turn up...which is, usually, anywhere up to a few hours. So, I decided to go off to sleep.

When I awoke the Nat West money had appeared which was £10.00. However, the Pockit funds did NOT appear, yet...; instead, it showed that 2 lots of £10.00 was still 'pending'.

So, I contacted William Hill to further inquire...; they said, sometimes, payment can take up to 3 whole days before it is cleared by your bank. So,...

----

Later on, though, I got 'tempted' to re-invest the £10.00 I had in my Nat West a/c. straight back into William Hill...hoping for the same lucky end result I had during this morning. I bet on Roulette...only this time the bet went and lost...; and, so, my £10.00 did just simply 'vanish'...?!

-------------------------------------------------------------

-> Other worries that are, constantly, going through my mind...making me feel 'depressed'.

- Part of the Chimney is threatening to collapse

- The ceiling upstairs...in both rooms is leaking. Before it was just leaking inside of 'one' room; but, now, this has extended to become two rooms, instead.

My huge headache is...I have no funds available to fix the roof/or, the collapsing chimney...? So, all I do is worry, worry, worry...hoping that neither the roof/chimney does completely collapse...?!

I have to search to find funding... Some people say, sell the house...; but, it's not easy to sell off a house that is desperately in need of repairs; the money you are likely to get for it...in such a serious need of repairs...might not be enough to buy another house, for example...?!

Mon 120623 Bad Dream/Drew self-portrait from memory

-----

4 AM WOKE UP TO A BAD DREAM

I dreamt that some distant family member had called me over the phone...J, I think; and they asked me if I cared about them? To which I replied, I cared about all of the family members. Now, that was a bit of  a weird question to ask...; but, I'm not sure if I remember the rest of the dream that had gone on before...?

-(They say dreams that you don't remember particularly well...are not serious.)-

Later on, I dreamed that both me and my mum were living at Beckett House (where we used to live before)...; and, there was a fish tank which we kept downstairs...near the window...which had inside a mixture of both fish/snakes. -(I have kept goldfish in the past.../but, certainly not any snakes.)- Then, my mum went to feed the fish by moving the sheet of glass on top. I started thinking...if she did not remember to replace that sheet of glass, correctly...; then, that would mean that these deadly snakes -(I think, it was 4)- would be allowed to escape; and, sure enough, that's exactly what happened, next. One /or, two snakes crawled out...; and, started running around free straight off into the adjacent living room/-etc. It was at that point -(totally 'scared' to death...?!)- when I, suddenly, woke up.

Of late, I notice I seem to have been having a lot of 'bad' dreams...; and, I'm trying to think why. There could be many reasons...

- Low funds...(all of my savings money is fast running out, completely...I really don't know what the hell I'm going to do when all that money is gone...?! Because, I rely on it to help whenever I can't pay the bills.)

- There remains a 'grave stone' to pay for...; but, because I'm so totally flat broke...it's just not been possible to address that problem.

- The house roof is threatening to completely collapse under heavy rains. Luckily, right now, we are having sunny weather; but, that kind of situation ain't going to last too long...in nearly always rainy England. The problem there is...I have no money to go and pay to fix the roof...?!

- I am constantly having to struggle with financial problems...; right now, both the internet/phone bill still hasn't been paid for this month...which is around £40.00 owing to TalkTalk company; and, my current a/c. balance says, nil...?! (I cannot live without the internet...which I use to both communicate/pay bills/study and learn/interact with others through Social Media a/c's/-etc. So, I need it to be up and running, constantly, all the time.)

- There are certain family members who I haven't felt particularly close to. Not because I have anything at all against them...; but,  quite simply, because we hardly ever get to interact with one another. This kind of situation breeds a sense of  'distrust'.

- I am totally estranged from all of the family members who I grew up with...living inside of the same house. We don't talk/or, communicate together in any way. If we saw one another on the streets...we'd just keep on walking...pretending not to notice/or, possibly, worse...we could end up in a serious argument/fight. So, therefore, I much prefer to stay the hell away. As far as I'm concerned I haven't done them anything wrong; but, they are jealous that I inherited the family house, and, NOT they.

At the moment, I'm suffering from some serious health issues...after falling off my bike and hurting my left arm...which I used to catch me from falling. Apparently, not only is the left arm deeply affected; but, so, is the right. This is because the work that the left arm should do...is, now, being done by the right. A physiotherapist sent me through an email some exercises to do...; -which I still haven't done, yet...?!-; but, otherwise, I've had no 'hands on' physiotherapy done...not since the accident which happened last year...6th August 2022; and, now, that date is...11th June 2023. That's an awful long time to go without getting any proper treatment, yet.

12:50 DREW MY OWN SELF-PORTRAIT FROM MEMORY

After having awoken to a 'nightmare'...; eventually, still feeling rather tired...I went back to sleep.

I woke some time after midday...; and, one of the first things I did was to draw my own self-portrait. I drew it in bed using the iPad Air 2/Zen Brush app/and, my finger to draw with.

I think, it's not too bad a self-portrait...considering that it is being drawn purely from memory, alone.

My own guess is, if you practice drawing yourself many times...I must have done, quite literally, 100's of self-portraits...; then, it's really pretty easy to be able to draw yourself...without actually needing to go look into the mirror, anymore; as you already know what your main features are.
