Tue 200623 Gambled at William Hill and won: £10.00 -> £30.00

Tue 200623 A bit of a strange day...

-------------------------------------------------------------

Table of contents:-

-> Received fortnightly government benefit money...; and, had to use this to pay urgent bills...; was left with just £10.00.

-> Gambled at William Hill...deposited £10...won £30.00. But, had some difficulty withdrawing.

-> Returned back to William Hill...to see if I could repeat the successful bet of this morning. Nope, it failed...I lost £10.00!

-> Other worries that are, constantly, going through my mind...making me feel 'depressed'.

-------------------------------------------------------------

-> Received fortnightly government benefit money...; and, had to use it to pay pay bills...; was left with just £10.00.

Today, I received government benefit money...which is approximately £140.00 forthightly.

£ 70.00 payment to British Gas
£ 50.00 payment to CashPlus loan
£ 10.00 payment to the TV Licence
------
£130.00

...so, after spending £130.00 of the £140.00 benefit payment...; in all this left me with a balance of just £10.00 to live on for the next forthnight...(2 weeks long/which is living on £5.00 a week).

In despair, I firmly resolved to go and do some gambling...in order to make up that small amount of money that was left; (all the time, hoping I don't just go and lose it ALL...?!)

-------------------------------------------------------------

-> Gambled at William Hill...deposited £10...won £30.00. But, had some difficulty withdrawing.

I bet on a mixture of both 'live' Roulette/and, also, Spin the Wheel games.

I won't even bother to go into all of the precise details...of the money going up/and, then, down...as winning at gambling don't necessarily come too easy.

But, I will say this much...when I had finished...I had turned my £10.00 stake deposit bet...into being £30.00.

So, basically, I came away, smiling. ;-)

-------------------------------------------------------------

-> Returned back to William Hill...to see if I could repeat the successful bet of this morning. Nope, it failed...I lost £10.00!

After having made the withdrawal of £30.00 from out of my William Hill online betting a/c.; into my bank a/c. Note, they would not let me withdraw to just one card/instead, I had to withdraw to 2 separate cards, instead(Nat West/Pockit).

There was no other choice left but to 'wait'...until when the funds turn up...which is, usually, anywhere up to a few hours. So, I decided to go off to sleep.

When I awoke the Nat West money had appeared which was £10.00. However, the Pockit funds did NOT appear, yet...; instead, it showed that 2 lots of £10.00 was still 'pending'.

So, I contacted William Hill to further inquire...; they said, sometimes, payment can take up to 3 whole days before it is cleared by your bank. So,...

----

Later on, though, I got 'tempted' to re-invest the £10.00 I had in my Nat West a/c. straight back into William Hill...hoping for the same lucky end result I had during this morning. I bet on Roulette...only this time the bet went and lost...; and, so, my £10.00 did just simply 'vanish'...?!

-------------------------------------------------------------

-> Other worries that are, constantly, going through my mind...making me feel 'depressed'.

- Part of the Chimney is threatening to collapse

- The ceiling upstairs...in both rooms is leaking. Before it was just leaking inside of 'one' room; but, now, this has extended to become two rooms, instead.

My huge headache is...I have no funds available to fix the roof/or, the collapsing chimney...? So, all I do is worry, worry, worry...hoping that neither the roof/chimney does completely collapse...?!

I have to search to find funding... Some people say, sell the house...; but, it's not easy to sell off a house that is desperately in need of repairs; the money you are likely to get for it...in such a serious need of repairs...might not be enough to buy another house, for example...?!
