- 9:30 AM Saw the dustbin men outside emptying bins...; forgot to put out my own bin during yesterday evening; so, had to drag my own bin towards them, manually, for them to go empty it.
- 11:50 PM Got a phone call from: https://bhenergysolutionsltd.co.uk/ offering new FREE boiler installation.
- 12:05 PM Got a nuisance phone call...eFrag/Fraud (didn't respond/dropped phone down)
- 14:00-14:27 VISIT FROM MICHAEL THOMAS/HOUSING PROBLEMS WITH THE ROOF
- 4 PM GP NICOLA ARRANGING PHYSIOTHERAPY IN STREATHAM/THEY WILL SEND ME A LETTER/SHE WILL EMAIL ME SOME EXERCISES TO DO

- 7:30 PM Went down road to empty smelly food rubbish into the public tip. Also, to throw away some broken roof tiles which had fallen down.

Boy, did I have a really strange dream...and, can't really tell when last I had one just like it.
I was sitting inside of a Casino playing all different sorts of games...; then, I recall I won at one of these...; and, next, used those winnings to invest in betting on another game, instead.
Well guess what...it won...; but, not only did it win...; it said you'd gone and 'broken the bank!'
So, I was like...wow...I've made it...every gambler's ultimate dream is to 'go break the bookies bank'...and, yes, I finally did it!

Then, I awoke...; and, the very next thought that hit my mind was...there is, also, such a thing as people having 'dreams of contrary'...where, essentially, 'good dreams/turn bad'.
In reality, though, I am 'totally flat broke'; meaning, there is little or no money left inside of my bank a/c's.; and, what little is left is just 'fast' running out...thus, leaving me feeling, really and truly, 'scared'...!
The other big worry I'm having is...such dreams which 'tempt' you to go gambling...are really bad; and, especially, so...when a person is a 'gambling addict' like myself. In that whatever money you do have left...you will be 'tempted' to go and gamble it...; and, then, that really will leave you with having absolutely nothing.

It's the doing 'endless dreaming'...which got me into so much trouble in the first place...only succeeding in totally 'emptying' out all of my bank a/c's
Meaning, doing all of this 'endless dreaming' has really gotta stop...by just NOT following it up in any way at all!
So, far it's been around 1 week that I been off gambling...; and, frankly, that's exactly where I'm going to stay.
F*** dreaming...because dreaming has totally ****ed me!
The only bank that the 'addictive gambler' is going to break is, in fact, their 'own'...; because, they themselves know deep down inside...and, judging from their own previous experiences, repeatedly, again and again...that even when they do win...; then, purely due to the fact that they just CANNOT 'stop' themselves from doing endless gambling...with the odds set against your winning in the long run...that just means you lose...all of your stake/winnings, and, more(money/dignity/self-worth/the trust of others...family/friends/-etc).

I heard of something call going 'cold turkey'...where the addict experiences strong withdrawal symptoms...maybe, the less you are doing it...means, the more you 'think' about, actually, doing it.

Looking outside the window...after hearing some noises...I suddenly realised it's, Thursday...when the dustbin men come to empty out all of the bins. Only I'd forgotten to put my bin outside during yesterday evening. So, I had to get up, go out there wearing slippers...and, manually, push the bin over to where the dustbin truck was...in order to get my own bin emptied.
(If the bin isn't full...; then, I don't worry about emptying it out every single week...; but, this week it was pretty full...so, therefore, needed to be emptied.)

Got a phone call from:
...they said they would offer me a FREE boiler replacement; but, they would need to take down some details, first; in order to send someone to my house to do a house survey.
I really felt extremely uncomfortable with total stranger people phoning me straight 'out of the blue'; and, asking me to reveal my 'personal details'...such as: post code/house number/name/email/date of birth/-etc.
But, at the same time, I badly need to get the old boiler replaced...; so, I decided to go ahead with it all. (Fingers crossed.)

Got another phone call...this time from some guy (who I don't know)...says he's from a company called: efrag..?! And, he started telling me all about...his company deals with 'fraud'...after which I simply went and dropped the phone down.
Random callers...just drive me mad; especially, when you are running over to the phone whenever it rings...because you were expecting to received an important phone call.

14:00-14:27 VISIT FROM MICHAEL THOMAS/HOUSING PROBLEMS WITH THE ROOF
Had a visit from Michael Thomas...who's business is buying/selling houses.
He came to look at the roof leak...; and, brought along some roofing tarpaulin along with him.
However, when he looked he said, that's not the right size; so, he will perhaps come back here, again, tomorrow.
He said, he cannot see any easy access to the 'outside'; and, just putting up whole house scaffolding to reach the 3rd floor would cost £1000.00's; in addition to which...in order to put up scaffolding...you would need to inform the neighbours as well.
I also showed him the other 2 leaky roofs downstairs; and, that at the very bottom of the house there is 'dry mushroom rot'.
I told him I'm trying to apply to get a grant to fix things from somewhere...; but, so far to date haven't been successful, yet.
What I found to be most deeply worrying is...when I asked him about what does he believe this house might be worth...rather reluctantly, he said, "you don't want to know!" And, that answer left me feeling rather deeply 'shocked'; as it might mean that I've already gone and left things too late.
But, on the other hand, I'm also 'aware'...that there are many other house valuations out there...so, he's just giving me one point of view...which is, of course, his own. Though, I'll admit...he works in real estate trading...; and, I don't...; so, I'm not exactly completely ignoring his opinion altogether.
I asked him does he think that the roof might collapse...; and, his reply was, yes, it's possible...as the wood is rotten straight through and through...plus, the wet rain keeps on coming in.

I got a 'surprise' phone call from my GP Nicola. She spoke to me about getting physiotherapy for my hurt arm...fell of my bike last year: 6th August 2022. She mentioned to me about missed appointments; for which I tried giving excuses.
Anyway, ultimately, she arranged for a physiotherapy appointment in Streatham.
And, also, said she would send me some exercise to do through an email.

I did get Nicola's email with a link of exercises to do...; but, I haven't tried using the link, yet.
What I did do was respond back to Nicola's email...informing her that, yes, I did get it.

- 4:10 PM New TV Remote control arrived through the post/ordered from off eBay. (Left feedback!)
I went to go and check email...; and, to see if the GP's letter had arrived, yet.
Inside there I saw an email which said that eBay had delivered a 'remote control' to my door.
So, I went downstairs to see if the package was there; and, sure enough, it was.
NOTE(1): I still haven't tried sticking in 2 AAA size batteries to see if this remote control works, yet; but, I will...; and, then, after that's done...I will, immediately, leave eBay feedback.
LATEST UPDATE
NOTE(2): I did try inserting batteries into the remote control that was delivered, today; and, it worked. So, I went over to eBay to leave the appropriate feedback. Only, I think, I left the feedback for the wrong seller...you see, I went and ordered 2 of the exact same items...; so, after having left feedback for the wrong one...; I had to go and leave feedback for the right seller, instead(I knew it was the 'right' seller...because the message said item was delivered, today...which I saw too late. Whereas, the other item states item not yet delivered.). I'm just hoping and praying that the 2nd remote I'd ordered also turns up...because, I already left them with full 5 star feedback...?!

The last bottle of ginger wine I had is now all done/finished/completely drained dry.

I can't stand keeping smelly food rubbish...which I dump into a plastic bag...inside of the house for too long; as, gradually, the smells tends to grow worse and worse. Thus, at some point it becomes necessary to make a trip over to the public tip...which is half way down the road; then, come back up, again.
I also had to dump some broken roof tiles which had fallen down from off the top most roof.
